To make matters worse, in our efforts to get the spare tire on, one of the bolts got stuck. After a very painful experience with Subaru roadside assistance (which is a story for another day), we managed to get our car to my in-laws' house to assess options. The next morning, they reached out to a local place they've had good experiences with before, but they were unable to help on essentially no notice. My mother in law did some online research and heard some good things about Tenpin Motors, so we gave them a shot. It was an amazing experience. They managed to procure a very similar tire, which arrived later than same day, got it on and sorted out the stuck bolt issue. We took it in early to mid morning and it was good to go by 5pm. The gentlemen we worked with is I believe the current owner. He couldn't have been nicer - friendly, professional, explaining everything well and clearly was looking for the best way to make this right (as opposed to just trying to up-sell or get us to spend more money). And the price was extremely reasonable. And they have a couple super friendly, awesome dogs in the shop too (always a plus for fellow dog lovers). It went from being a very stressful situation where we felt like we had few options to Tenpin saving the day. I cannot recommend them enough.

Yesterday, 6/5, I called, left a messsage to have him call back at his earliest convenience. I wanted to pick up the car, and Wanted to know what I needed to get the car back. Never called back. But since the website said "open 24 hours" we made a long trip there, assuming 24 hours is 24 hours. We get there and there's a huge sign, by appointment only. 8-4. So apparently 24 hours, isn't what it means l. I called him again, he answered and right away was very sarcastic, very rude. "What does the sign say??" I felt as if I was talking to the wizard in emerald city. I pointed out what his website said and he did not care. I'll admit after he was rude to me, I was rude back. I just made a long drive based on his website, open 24 hours. he could've called me back and said, we aren't open after 4. And been friendly, because his website says they are friendly and if you have questions, just call blah blah blah. Saving us a trip, he said, not my problem. So I asked what my charges were going to be and he said "call tomorrow ". So my husband called today, charges are 545. So I called asking him to break down the 545. He couldn't tell me because he was not in front of his computer. As if he doesn't know what his charges are without looking at a computer. Now looking at the receipt, He's got all sorts of excessive charges. I asked him if he was going to charge me more and he replied, only a jerk would do that. Yes, I did call him one. He even charged me an extra day for storage. June 4-6 is 2 days. He charged me for 3. $36 to go to vehicle. 60. To go back. 85 after hours fee (they're open 24 hours, how can he charge after hour fee)?!??? 195. Impound fee - 85. Tow and hook 45 labor. 65. Per day storage. Charged 3 days, should've been 2. Oh and this is cash only. When I called this morning, again he was rude. Told me not to tell him how to run his business and hung up on me. Amazingly he does have some good reviews, probably written by his mother and cousins.

This just shows their are good reasonable tow companies out there.. but ONTIME TOWING is not one of them.
