Butlers in the Buff does not prioritize the safety of women. I booked a butler for a bachelorette party in Quebec City this past February. The butler was 4 hours late, pressured people to drink excessively when I had told him some of our group didn't drink, and was highly inappropriate with some of the bridesmaids. When we wanted him to leave, he received a tip he was not happy with so he began entering the bedrooms of girls who were sleeping and demanding money from them. He did not leave when asked and when he finally did leave he took food and alcohol with him as "payment". After this disappointing and uncomfortable experience, I emailed the company making them aware of the misconduct that took place. I received a response from Jason saying the butler had reached out to me through text message to apologize. I had blocked his number after the party, but Jason suggested I unblock him to "make things right" because he was "a genuinely nice guy normally". Considering the main user of this service is women, I was disappointed to find out that they do not take these incidents seriously and their solution was to have direct contact with someone who made us so uncomfortable. I would not recommend Butler in the Buff until the management holds the safety of women in higher regard and gains some accountability for the actions of their employees. read more

Honestly if I could leave 0 stars I would. First, while booking I was quoted a price and (I admit, my fault) I waited too long to book so when I did my price had gone up $60 in just a couple weeks. I didn't realize my quote expired, so I emailed asking if they could honor the original price. (Can't hurt to ask?) I got a one sentence response from Jason stating "sorry these are the new prices". Oh.. okay... super warm and fuzzy, Jason. I am about to go pay over $500, you could take the the time to be a *smidge* nicer but hey.. end of the day it's not gonna break the bank. Fast forward to 8 FREAKIN MINUTES before my butler is due to arrive I receive a "sorry but your butler has been canceled" TEXT. Again I'm paying a decent amount and you can't call me? I asked to speak to Jason (again- this guy has GOT to work on his people skills) to which he tells me it is company policy to only text or email. I have 16 girls in a house in Virginia with NO PLAN except a pool party and a butler/bartender and 8 MINUTES BEFORE I receive a text cancelation. But don't worry. He acted like he was doing me a favor but refunding me. I asked if they could send someone else. Nope. Sorry. How do you intend to RAISE prices on a business that can't even appropriately staff an event that requires a deposit, has you pay in full 2 weeks in advance and then feels a TEXT and vague apology is an appropriate way to handle that situation. Get back up Butlers, lower your prices and Jason should take a course in being courteous. read more

Professional, classy, and sexy! Mike and Vasile were the highlight of our bachelorette/baby shower Miami weekend! They were on time, came prepared, professional, and were super sexy! We booked a Butler (Krsna) for my best friend's bachelorette in Virginia Beach and it was the most hilarious part of the weekend! She was definitely not expecting it and we had her blindfolded playing a game when she found out he was there. He came prepared with several games to keep the party going, all of which were super fun and equally hilarious. Krsna was great, very friendly and accommodating, and not awkward at all. The only small downside was that the closest Butler to Virginia Beach was in DC, so the travel cost was pretty high. We were on the fence about booking it at first because of that. They were super polite, super cute, and took care of all our drink-mixing & BBQing needs. I just hired them again for my best friend's bachelorette in NJ last month and once again, they were a total hit!!! The bride was SO surprised and happy that they were able to join the fun. Don't book with this company unless you want to be screwed over and left high and dry without a "butler" right before your event. I was so excited when planning a close friends Bachelorette party to have found a service like this. It seemed like a fun, silly way to celebrate without it being too distasteful. However it ended up being a complete mess. I contacted them in April for a booking at the end of June, 2 full months in advance. I also put a deposit down. 1 week before the event, I receive an email saying my booking had been canceled. Shocked and confused, and thinking they made a mistake, I called. Chrystal, the woman on the phone, was apologetic, but said the butler had a family emergency and had to travel home. I thought, "No problem, they have an entire week to fix this." I was wrong. Chrystal said she would refund my deposit, as she did not think they would be able to find someone in time. This was supposed to be the highlight of the bachelorette party. And 1 week away, they canceled on me. I inquired about sending someone from a different city to fix the problem they had created. She said she would try. Monday, 4 days before the event, I hear back from Chrystal. She has a guy that is willing to drive, but the price had more than doubled, from $200 to $460. I was shocked. The company had an internal problem with a service I booked and put a deposit down for months in advance, and I was given 100% of the financial burden for it to be fixed. The stress this entire situation has caused us is unacceptable and shows a poorly run business. I highly recommend going with another company (we ended up going with Waiters in Boxers) unless you want to be left with no entertainment for your event. read more

I received an email a week prior telling me that my scheduled start time needed to be moved due to a scheduling issue. I was not happy about the change as I had booked them 4 months out but I went with the flow and moved on. When it came to their new start time they still were not there...one was 5 min late and apologized and said the other was stuck in traffic but on his way, he ended up being about 15min late. Easy peasy.The butler as we read online , can clean, bartend, dance, play games, butt print paint and wine night, etc. Honestly we thought he might be a little lame to have but good eye candy while we get ready. When he first arrived we provided him a private space to get undressed into his uniform. (^_^) !!!! When he walked out in nothing but his apron our bride to be was a bit pissed. She still thought he was a stripper. lol. I had tol, I never heard of a stripper getting undressed in private. He seemed timid when he first came in but after he got into his uniform, a burst of energy filled the room. Today I got an email saying the have to 'canceled as they are fully booked' for my requested time, and then had the audacity to ask if I could 'move the time of my event' to later in the evening or another day.
