For a public library, especially in a small or medium sized city now, the place is very welcoming and boy, inside, lots of chairs and tables to sit on and enjoy a book, a magazine or just gaze outside like we did. The second floor is where the books are. It looks like it has an extensive book collection within the bookshelves. It has private rooms to study and write if that's what you want. For the children, summertime is a great time to go to a library because they have individual programs to pass away the doldrums of summer. Here, you can play, read and have a class with other kids. The outside looks great too. We did not walk around as much although there is a small park located within the compound. They also have a separate bookshop, all within a short walking distance from the library. All in all, this would be a grand place to spend a couple hours to relax, keep cool and get some reading done. We all need it after a very hectic week in the hill country. We got hit with another epic flood and to be honest, I'm not looking forward to next July!

It wasn't only a place to study it was a place to feel peace. Now that life has gotten busy with work and different other things I realized that I haven't been for years! Yesterday it happened I was in Boerne and wanted to go to the Tuesday farmers market which the GPS sent me to a dead end I decided to pass by. It is as beautiful as I remember it The librarian at the entrance was so welcoming asking how can she help. I decided to ask her maybe she can send me to the right direction. She did not hesitate to pull a map and explain to me how to get there I still took the chance to admire the library before I left and I should go more often to sit and read

If you have efficient education at your school then there is no reason anyone should have to ask you to be quiet. Even with that common sense, occationally there are still people come in and slamming door like they have never go to library or go to school even once in their life time. But come on we are in United States, " No child left behind" how can we have those people graduate from school without learning the most common sense in society right? Well unless they did it intentionally. But who would do that we all educated and should respect the library rule right? That is why we have quiet space in library and Do Not make loud noise in library signs. Am I right or wrong?

Miss Kansas, (yes, that's her name) lol, she is amazing with the kiddos! I loved and enjoyed it as much as my daughter did. The library itself is very big and beautifully designed. The kids area is bigger than other libraries I have been to and it's vibrant and colorful. It has a modern feel to it but very welcoming ambiance. I will definitely be coming back. The entire staff today was so kind and helpful. Great overall experience and highly recommend.

Because of a very large donation(s) the name was changed from Spring Branch/Bulverde Library to…read moreMammen. Part of the donation went to double the size of the library to better meet the needs of this growing community. This review is the same as my Spring Branch Library review. When we had little kids, we felt it was very important to read to them and to keep them interested in reading as they got older. At that time, the Bulverde/Spring Branch community had our small library located in an old house converted into a library. As time went by, the small community continued to grow, and they decided to build a new library on top of a hill overlooking the Texas Hill Country and the busy US Hwy 281 and state Hwy 46 intersection. Later, a generous donator gave so much money that they were able to double the size of the library into one that rivaled the main library in downtown New Braunfels. The library offers so much to the local community. They have children, teens, and adults programming, makerspace, and meeting rooms. I found the meeting rooms to be so very useful as my coworkers work from their own houses. I was able to book the meeting rooms for us to work together instead of being at someone's house. Meeting rooms get booked frequently, so take that into consideration when planning. Besides all the library stuff, this location is also used as a voting place. They set it up for easy entrance, voting, and exiting. Voting early here usually finds only small lines leading to short wait time. Will I return? Definitely:-)

This is the type of structure and experience you'd expect in NYC, London, and the likes. Absolute perfection. I love the way the book sections and categories are divided and set up on various floors. Each floor is crazy spacious with loads of comfortable reading areas, tables, areas for rest, etc. There are private meeting rooms, a cafe, gift shop, an art gallery, rooftop deck with crazy good views of the city and Ladybird Lake, a children's library called 'Wonderland', an events center and so much more. The librarians and staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and not bothered if you need assistance locating a book. They have almost everything you could possibly be looking for to read whether for research or fun. Access to laptops and computers. Lots of charging areas for media and phones. The library is a true marvel. It makes me happy to see and know that ALL are welcome, especially the unhoused who would otherwise not have a place to go in extreme temps. The bathrooms and entire library are spotless and meticulously clean. We're so very lucky to have this amazing library in our city.
