Growing up in California you have to pump your own gas so it was just really weird. When i pulled up to the gas station i was just chilling in my car and rolled down my window. I wasn't sure what to say so i just told him i wanted regular and i gave him my credit card. That worked out perfectly and then he asked me if i wanted him to wash my windshield. I know it is part of his job, but i felt bad so i told him that i could do it myself and i did. haha. The guy topped it off for me and we were back on our way. Having people pump your gas is good, it creates more jobs.

This review is for the station itself, which consists of the gas/mechanic and towing (with AAA response). I overnighted in Union Creek, about 20 miles up the road on the way to Crater Lake. This happens to be the closest gas in, like, forever. So I had to make a side-trip down here to fill up the tank before the next day's adventure into and around Crater Lake National Park. This is that part of the world where gas stations are few and far between. The gas pumps here are likely older than I am. And I'm no spring chicken anymore. They're definitely not the stick-your-credit-card-in-and-pump type. And they're only open regular hours... no overnight fueling. But the prices are fair enough for the remote location, the dude working here is friendly in that small town way, and, well, if you want gas anywhere near here, this is the option. I can't complain.
