This Shell right off Interstate 5 in Ashland qualifies for such a stop. They have a nice convenience store, drive through car wash and if the mood strikes there is a fancy cannabis shop across the street that usually has a food truck parked in front. This is our stop for gas and restroom break when we travel through the area. Clean restrooms and reasonably priced gas. Worth the stop!

As I was going inside to get the key, a woman who was standing outside smoking a cigarette yelled over "you can't use the bathroom unless you buy something". There is no sign to that effect and the nice man at the register handed me the key without a question. When I came back out she followed me inside and I decided that I wouldn't buy anything after that, thanked the gentleman and headed to the car. She proceeded to yell at the employee. My point to this is, how did she know I wasn't going to buy anything? And given the number of times we have bought gas from them and never used the bathroom is probably around 11-12. Her attitude and assumption was uncalled for.

I explained and showed them the Amt authorized by their store & that i don't even have gas to get home. What a terrible experience, I am not returning. I showed the three employees over and over again that they had not refunded me anything and the money had been authorized by Arco, they had no interest and problem-solving and just sat there and stared at me. I told them I did not have enough gas money to get home unless they resolved the issue, and they just stared. Please Hire the original gentleman who were working here before and give them like a two dollar raise. This place is crap now. Your employees don't know how to operate the cash register, the card reader, and have absolutely no customer service skills.

(No, Mr. Attendant, my dogs can see you just fine through the tinted windows. They are barking because either they don't know you or don't like the way you smell. Not because they can't see through the tinted windows.) Service seemed to be more prompt at this location than the Shell across the street, where I saw cars waiting with no attendant.

So I gave him another card asked for 20. That went through. this morning I got notification that my card was ran for 76.00 then 24.00 and my other card for 20. shady!! So check your statement!
