However the rude girl in the back shouting orders saying it's almost 5pm wearing AirPods was unprofessional and rude! She was asking the lady helping us if she swept yet but obviously not because she was helping us. It looked like she was uncomfortable and it made me uncomfortable while my husband was like "ooo they have precooked stuff " in this glass thing by the door. I tried to hurry him out so she wouldn't get in trouble. I must say the steaks we got and cooked tonight were absolutely amazing!!!! The lady who helped us was patient and held her composure while being yelled at. It would be all stars aside from that rude young girl wearing AirPods in the back! I absolutely LOVED the Herbed Balsamic, though some of my fellow foodies preferred the Cinnamon Roll. It was a really fun experience as these walnuts are infused vs. candied, meaning that "Cinnamon Roll" is not an overly sweet, dense treat but it has a slightly sweet taste reminiscent of a cinnamon roll. Honestly, I much prefer this as most snacks have too much sugar in them. Also, because they're sprouted walnuts, the bitterness is gone. Sometimes when I eat raw walnuts I get that aftertaste in my mouth. Not so with sprouted walnuts (including the unflavored ones). These are yummy, have great flavors, and I really like the owners approach to making these as a wholesome snack where the walnut flavor still comes through instead of candied.

I found Kevin on Craigslist when I was searching for backyard fresh eggs. (I know right, you can…read morefind ANYTHING on Craigslist lmao). I emailed him and got on his scheduled weekly delivery list. It was $9/dozen and $35 for the whole Peking Roasted Duck (ducks from his own farm, freshly roasted the morning of delivery). The prices are indeed higher but having it delivered was a god send. He's a really good guy with a family and a farm in Oroville; I spent thirty minutes talking to him on my porch. I also try to support people like him whenever I can. He takes one day a week and drives from 8am to 8pm delivering eggs and BBQ all over Northern California in his little Toyota. Hard working people in their sixties doing business the old way always tug at my heart strings. I learned today that he used to have a restaurant until the crash in 2007. So when it comes to BBQ, he knows what he's doing. There is a two dozen minimum order of eggs since he has to drive to you. The Peking Roasted Duck is really good. Maybe if you ask him to cut it for you he might, cuz I wasn't expecting a whole Duck to be dropped off at all lol and my knives suck. So I had to go full blown revenant on this guy Mmmm.

We love supporting our local community and we love even more that the local community has great products. After a short and minimally bumpy ride into the main parking space, you are met with this very peaceful spot. Upon entering, it's so dangerous because you can easily walk out having bought one of everything. Whether you are looking for gifts, for snacks for the road, or just a little something for yourself this place has everything. We are very happy to have finally gone in to pick up some honey and they had the specific type of honey that my wife loves.
