Another of my favorite is the tres leches. so I took a bite and I spit it right out it was disgusting. When I lifted up it was goopy and the three milks should not be goopy and it tasted like rotten milk it was disgusting. The third thing I got was a custard filled doughnut. At least that was soso. Someone on here on their review said the best authentic Mexican bakery... Yeah I don't think they've actually had legit Mexican bakery Products because this is not it.

Tlive more than an hour from this Mexican Bakery. However, this last time I stopped, the experience was not the same. My favorite was the cheese and jalapeño relleno bread. They also carry some with just cheese. So, I asked the employees which were the ones with jalapeños in them. The employee said they all had jalapeño's and cheese. I purchased two of them. When I arrived at home, the bread instead had chorizo and potatoes inside. The taste was so bad and cold. I was disappointed. So, I called the bakery hoping to get replacements of jalapeño and cheese whenever I have the opportunity to stop by there, since it wasn't my fault. The employee told me no. I told her I could take a photo and keep the receipt. Nope, she didn't care. In addition, since I live more than an hour away, I asked the employee for a box to place the bread in, so the frosting on the small cakes wouldn't get messed up. Upon, looking at my receipt at home to call them, I noticed I was charged $2.25 for a thin little box that one gets free for purchasing donuts at a donut shop. If the employee had told me that there is a charge for the box, I would've had her place the bread in bags instead. This Mexican bakery is not a place I recommend to buy from. Take your business elsewhere.

More importantly, it's totally worth it. We got a box of goodies and they were all fantastic. You can taste the quality of the products they use. You can taste the butter. It's just lovely. My husband also really liked his latte. We sat inside and ate some of our goodies. We took the rest home for my mum for Mother's Day. My family loved them, too. Nice space. We also bought some whole wheat flour as a gift while there. Will absolutely go back when I'm in the area.

If I'd had more time, I would have loved hanging out here for a while. I only managed to get here about 45 minutes to close, so their selection was understandably if somewhat disappointingly quite picked over. I wound up with a cranberry oat scone and a blueberry and raspberry hand tart. The employee was very pleasant and warm. I appreciated her eagerness to help and positive attitude despite my late arrival. The baked goods sadly didn't really live up to my expectations. The cranberry oat scone was the much better of the two; it was pleasantly sweet and had the proper scone texture and only a little dry. Unfortunately, the hand tart had several edges that I discovered later had been burnt. This impacted the flavor of the whole item and sadly diminished it greatly. The fruit filling was tasty at least, though I didn't get much raspberry from it -- mostly blueberry. I'd be down to try again in the future, just would come earlier in the day when the selection is a bit larger and the products available are a bit more "choice," let's say. I appreciated the kind service and lovely vibes!

Apparently, this spot has even been shown on several TV and news features for their famous cannolis. I believe it. But the signature treat here is actually the merri-mac tea cake which has been around since the bakery was founded, apparently. It's basically a shortbread cookie with fondant. I can't say that I loved it. I think it would be much better without so much fondant. I scraped it off then scarfed it down. The owner just completed renovations and is working on the second floor now. If you have some time, peruse the pics on the wall and take in the history. Apparently these treats have been around as the very first bakery in town.

Very sweet BUT they taste like their pre-made. I have tasted the same ones at Carrabas but they put chocolate chips on it instead of pistachios. The frosted brownies are huge--but very disappointed in it....very hard, like stale hard !! The Apple fritter has chunks of Apple's in them, would be much better warmed up. Very reasonably priced on their goodies... --I wish they sold milk to go with these sweets-- I have had better.
