She does a GREAT job, unfortunately I had a very embarrassing experience with the owner, when I went to pay my $50.00 the owner thought I was not paying the correct amount because I dye my own hair she gave me a hard time thinking that I was not telling the truth. My appointment was at 1:00 and done at 1:30 on sat 4/12/25. Bridget told her She did not dye my hair. Just got a haircut and blow out. I went to this salon a few days ago I got weft hair extensions installed in my hair the first time I got them installed in my hair wasn't full enough so I went back got more put in to make my hair look fuller came back home I still wasn't happy at all because it's still not full enough and my hair is not blended in at all together it literally looks so terrible! NOW WAIT. THAT NOT EVEN THE WORSE PART.. so I went to another salon just to fix it THEY TOLD ME the hair extensions ITSN'T EVEN INSTALLED CORRECTLY!!! And I can get ALOPECIA!!!! While the stylist Bridget was nice, I walked out with one the worst blowouts ever and my hair felt like straw. Cut is nice, but she did layers and never blended or cut into them, which I've never seen. I don't know what shampoo/conditioner they used on my hair, apparently cheap, low end products for my hair to feel like straw. Her hair dryer kept blowing cold air on my head on and off and I was in & out of the chair in probably 30-40 minutes, with long, thick hair. No offer of styling, a straighting iron, just in and out with no attention to detail. My hair feels like silk when I blow dry it at home using a quality blow dryer. Not a serene or tranquil experience. My experience was interrupted three times by different people walking into the area. Maybe there needs to be a "do not disrupt" sign on the door. There's a huge fluorescent light right on the ceiling over the table so one feels like a chicken under the heating lamp. It should be a candle lite quiet spot for a tranquil experience. Also for a facial, not even one extraction was made. I thought that was the purpose of getting facials, to get out facial impurities. When one arrives at salon, there's no waiting area, just two chairs against the check in podium facing the door, felt more like I was a kid being placed on time out punishment. Instead of a waiting area, there is a rack of tacky clothes and a counter of tacky jewelry. Seems like it's more important to sell some junk than to have a comfortable area for clients to wait for their facial appointment. I totally give up . I have had four colorists in three years . All the young ladies quit. Butterflies salon seems to only want a very mature clientele. To make matters worse Nancy, the receptionist is always in a horribly nasty mood, on the phone or while she rants in the salon. Time to move on to more current and pleasant atmosphere. read more

I got my hair cut today from Ana. She did mine, my husbands and my sons. What a great job!! The place is beautiful inside. The staff is wonderful. They were all so friendly and even occupied my son while I was in the seat. Ana did an amazing job on all of our hair!! I highly recommend her! Ps. The salon, and staff was extremely nice, and the place was very clean. However, I had a basic manicure, which I thought my hands would would be soaked in warm water which most salons do. A prior nail salon which I frequent, even puts stones in the water. My cuticles were not cut nor pushed back, and my hands were not soaked. Presently, my cuticles are thick, and look very unattractive. For $17.00 I was not impressed! The hairdressers work from what I seen, looked amazing! Not a place for a manicure!!! read more

I wanted a new place for my pedicures and Butterflies is close where I live and I read very nice reviews. I also scheduled an eyebrow wax. It was, for sure, the worst pedicure I have ever had. Right up front I told her I want my toenails short. I believe her name is Celeste. She not only did not cut them with toenail clippers, she even missed a toe entirely. She just filed them, saying she doesn't like to cut them because people get ingrown toenails. (Well, not if done correctly!) She then pushed the cuticles back, then took a file to my heels ( barely), creamed my legs, then polish! (Never put cream on my feet). She didn't once trim anything around the nails. Polish was a joke. She had to redo a couple nails...said it was a bad polish brush, but still neglected to cover the whole nail. I had to request the toe separators, she wasn't going to use them. I asked about the upgraded pedi but was told it really wasn't worth it, a regular pedi was fine. There was more wrong, but let's get to the waxing. Ugh! I came home and the wax was still stuck to what eyebrows were left. So, note to the owner. Never give your worst technician to a new customer and potential lasting customer. I had all intentions of staying with you and having my nails done there as well. No now though. I won't go back. read more

I was in town visiting my parents and decided to get a haircut. Found this place on Yelp & boy am I happy I went here! I was greeted by Peggy who was extremely friendly and welcoming. I immediately got my hair washed by a very friendly woman (forgot her name!) and then my haircut was started immediately by Bridget. She is great! Listened to what I wanted, made conversation, and cut & dry my hair amazingly. I am super pleased to have come here for a great haircut at a great price. Bridget cut my hair today and I was impressed a guy getting his hair done in a beauty salon and she did a wonderful job. The Salon Spa is bright and clean and everyone is so professional. I got a pedicure there by Jen also and another great experience. I have a torn MCL and ACL and my knees can hurt when my feet are moved or leg manipulated. Jen was very careful of my problem and gave me a wonderful pedicure. I left the spa yesterday extremely satisfied, relaxed and refreshed. This is a new and beautiful salon. Sooo tastefully done is shades of green and white with tons of butterflies all around. They do it all here. Hair, nails, massage and facial. I've been going to Rose, the owner, for a little over a year now. I've had root to tip curls since I was born and Rose's product (and skill) for a keratin-based treatment is the only one I've ever had success with in my life! I've literally gotten my money back at 3 other salons before for Brazilian treatments when they shockingly saw that it truly had not worked, but Rose has made me a believer again. I now have 3 cousins that go there and 2 new coworkers who are about to fall in love as well. It's not just the straightening though, it's her cuts and her foils that are equally on point! I also tend to find amazing new products on their shelves as they are a huge supporter of local businesses and great finds. The mascara they have on the shelf is bar-none the best on the market! New to the area and looking for a place to go to get my hair cut. One of my coworkers try butterflies salon so I checked it out on yelp and the reviews were good. Off I went, still nervous as most people are when trying a new place. The staff was very friendly I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I thought I would have to wait since I didn't have an appointment but I did not even get a chance to sit down they brought me to the back to wash my hair. I hate even writing this, but the mani was just the worst thing I have even seen. It was so bad, in fact, that I had to regroom the nails for several hours when I got home. The "acrylic" was all over the place in lumps and bumps and the polish job was horrific. My nails were so thick, it was awful. Each one had a "wheel" divot on each side right at the center. The rotary tool burned every nail bed. That part was torture. That being said, the girl who did my nails is the sweetest, nicest girl...but she has no business doing nails. I HATE that it came to this but I don't want others to go thru what I did. I had my nails redone elsewhere yesterday. The lady there - who has been doing nails for 25 years BY HAND - said she'd never seen anything like it. The acrylic turned out to be gel (on top of my old acrylic). It took her 2 hours to do my nails over. So...30 plus 10 tip at Butterflies...50 plus 20 tip to get it fixed. $110 later...I simply cannot recommend this place for nails. read more
