I went to Salon Tsunami for the first time yesterday, and absolutely loved it!  I have waist length, dark blonde hair & was a bit nervous, with it being a new place & not knowing what to expect (having had an awful experience in the past at another salon).   *They were careful with the precautions due to Covid, & sat the customers well apart, constantly cleaning & sanitizing everything. Everyone at Salon Tsunami was professional, friendly & I will even say - joyful!!! It's easy to see they love what they're doing, and they do it well.   They put me at ease immediately with the calm vibe - which I really liked, and no drama going on - which you often get at other places.  The stylist who took care of me, Danielle,  listened carefully to what I was hoping to have done with my hair & gave me options & suggestions & then brightened it up with foil highlights perfectly!   I am absolutely, totally THRILLED with the results & my husband said WOW when I got home! Nikki give me a great initial color. When I went back to get my roots done she gave me some sort of Carnival hair the color was not mixed correctly she ended up ruining the entire original color. I came back to have it corrected and my hair was burned and the color was still ruined. I got my money back but I would never recommend this place to anyone. Then when I wrote a similar review on Facebook they blocked me so that they couldn't get any negative feedback. Very shady. read more

Renee Lieb is amazing!!! I have been going to her for years and no one gives a better haircut. My hair is a bit challenging as the hair itself is somewhat thin but there is a LOT of it. It can be wavy in all the wrong spots and just does it's own crazy thing. But Renee cuts it beautifully without fail! She takes her time and gives it the attention it needs. I can't gush enough about what a fabulous gem this place is. Lois took my appointment and is you're intrinsic, sexy blonde whom is very easy to talk to and super sweet. Taylor shampooed and conditioned my hair and oh my God heavenly I almost fell asleep it felt so good! Salon Tsunami was an absolute dream to work with. As the bride Ashley did my hair and Allie did my makeup and it was amazing. Ashley does my hair regularly and it always looks superb so I knew for my wedding day it would only look better. And it did. Buyer beware! Everything is a la carte. I NEVER heard of getting color done at a salon and they don't blow dry your hair except at a "discount/no frills salon". If I didn't want to walk out with a wet head I had to book a blow dry at an additional $35.00. I have short hair yet they said they needed to use an additional tube of color which cost me additional $7.00. My colorist was great but I felt totally ripped off and embarrassed. I will never return. There are plenty of talented colorists in the area working at salons without the hidden fees! read more
