Babyyyyy! This is it right here. I don't know what made me stop by and check them out, but I'm glad I did. As soon I walked in, I could smell all the baked goodness that was happening. The case of pies looked so good, so I couldn't just pick one! I got the Chewy Chocolate Chip and Granny's Apple in the 4inch size. I then took both to my friends house and we literally argued about who got which one lol. We settled on half and half split. Y'all we were both quiet and just enjoying each bite. I'm a huge fan of desserts and a hard critique. These pies were AMAZING! Even though the granny apple was a personal size it still had fresh cut apples in each bite. The chocolate chip wasn't too cookie like , but a perfect mixed cookie pie. I also found their pricing to be fair and appropriate. I can't wait to go back and try some more flavors!

Wow these pies are amazing! They have different flavors like chocolate chip, peanut butter cup, coconut , apple crumble looked amazing ! Key lime , pecan and so many more. You can get small individual ones 4 for $16 or a big one that feeds 5 to 7 for $23 The staff is friendly , pie knowledgeable, I really want to go back for the chocolate pie looked amazing!

Cloud 9- a mini pie mixed with vanilla ice cream. It probably doesn't look nearly as appetizing as it tastes!

I have not met a pie from this place that I have not loved! I learned something today, bc I was wishing I had a table to sit at while I ate my delicious Cloud 9 (before it melted!). They don't tax their desserts, therefore they can't have tables inside or outside! Good to know... I recently feel in love with their "cloud 9". This is a dreamy combination of any flavor mini pie, crumbled up and mixed vanilla ice cream. It was AMAZING! I picked the coconut cream pie (my fav) to have mixed with ice cream. It was very refreshing and of course super sweet! I will be dreaming about this until I come back for more! While I was there, I grabbed some chocolate thumb print cookies to try. They were freshly baked and soft. Not as good as their pie, but I wouldn't be opposed to getting more! The lemon ice box pie is their must try pie of the month. It's so refreshing, slightly tart, definitely sweet, and very good! If I have time before it's gone, this would make a good cloud 9 combo! It's always a pleasure coming to Buttermilk Sky!

    Chocolate peanut butter dream

This location recently opened so I decided to stop by....since I pass by it twice a day! They had samples of the apple pie which was realllllly good. I didn't taste my sample until after I walked out of the store but I wished I would have bought the apple pie after tasting it. I bought the chocolate dream for myself which was really good but it was really sweet. It was a mousse chocolate filling with an Oreo crust and topped with whipped cream. It was so sweet that I ate half and saved the rest for later. My son had the peanut butter and I think it was the same.....a mousse filling with a crust. He said it was good but described it as an ice cream pie. The place was decorated with baking accessories like aprons rolling pins and pie stands.....that are also for sell. They have the same concept as Nothing Bundt Cakes.

I've made three visits to this location so far and every time have experienced nothing but smiling, courteous employees and a variety of delicious, fresh pies. There is usually a seasonal pie and staple pies, such as chocolate chip, buttermilk, and cream pies. We usually purchase the mini pies, which are $4.25. The location is very clean and nice on the inside. This pie shop is a great addition to the Mansfield area and I look forward to coming here every week from now on.

I have to admit, the only reason I came here was because it was pi day. Me and Nana drove over here to try the pies. The outside of the store was very clean, the storefront was very cute. It was decorated like a true Southerner would decorate their kitchen. I decided to get to get the I 40. And Nana got the banana cream pie. We got the 4-inch pies oh, and I also got a lemon cookie for my sister. Total out the door was less than $10. There was a large assortment of 4-inch pies & full 9-inch pies in the store. Pies were all decorated very nicely, and they look just like they do on the company website. The I-40, is it take on pecan pie. It's got gooey sweet stuff that a pecan pie does. It also has chocolate chips and coconut. This is one damn good pies! I think the crust was a shortbread, but it really didn't taste like a shortbread to me. Nana's banana cream pie was a little cold almost semi-frozen. The crust had caramel on top of it, then some banana, banana pudding, and topped with whipped cream and a Nilla Wafer. I thought my pie was pretty damn good. And then I tried Nana's pie... Oh my God! I could feel the diabetes creeping into my endocrine. It was very sweet, it was decadent, it was smooth and creamy. It was something that you would share. If you eat the entire 4 inch Pie by yourself, I suggest you go straight to the dentist office. Or maybe to your primary care physician to have your sugar checked. Now the customer service was another story. The girl working at the front counter was basically what do you want? And we were still looking around and she told me what the total was. I figured it was my time to go. There was no one else in the store while we were looking around, I don't know what her hurry was. There are currently four or five locations of Buttermilk sky in the Metroplex. Hopefully the other stores have better customer service! I would have given this location a five if it wasn't for the chick at the front counter who was in a hurry.

New dessert addition to Mansfield! They have four flavors for their mini pies-- buttermilk, key lime, pecan, and I40. Buttermilk was completely sold out. I ended up getting one key lime, one pecan, and two I40s. The I40 has pecans, chocolate chips, and coconut. The mini pies are $4.25 each, but if you get four pies, it's $16. The store had samples out of the pecan pie out. Pretty delicious. I will have to come back so that I get the buttermilk pie to try. If you sign up for their emails, you get a free mini pie for your birthday! Winning! How can one go wrong with a pie shop? I will be a returning customer!

The tres leches cake, on the other hand, offers a completely different but equally satisfying experience. They do well for being in an older part of town. Conchas, we enjoyed them! My favorite was whatever this strawberry roll cake was, soft & fluffy. There were some empanadas but we couldn't tell what was what & didn't want to be one of those people that cracked one open, because trust me, someone did on one of the trays. They have a refrigerated section, we'll probably try the flan next time too. The cakes are gorgeous, I can't comment on the taste... no need to get one for just the two of us. Prices are very good, yes, they take cash only. I saw someone said they take Zelle but I didn't look. I'm not mad about it though, it's a small business... they'd get charged for credit card usage. There was a bit of a line but it went reasonably quickly. Upon entry, you grab a tray and tongs, then make your way down the line of self-serve enclosed glass cases with shelves of fresh good. We chose a savory breakfast sandwich, an Almond Croissant and another sweet pastry. In line, the offered to heat our sandwich which we allowed. Then we ordered coffees, paid and sat down. A few minutes later, we walked back up to collect our coffees. The breakfast sandwich was tasty, though the ham and cheese in the center of the sandwich was untouched by the heating process. Next time, we'll ask for a longer heating cycle. The pastries were good. Not as good as made that morning in Paris, but better than most places we've been in the US. We also took some dessert pastries home for later that same night. My wife's was sort of ho-hum but mine was fabulous. I had what I guess would be a cro-nut?? Sort of like a doughnut that was made in layers of pastry, then cut out with a donut cutter. It had a filling in the center and had a sugary coating. SO GOOD! We'll be back to Paris Baguette and we'll try other items and for sure, we'll ask for our heated items to be heated a bit longer.
