so I finally checked out this café and first of all, I loved the vibe. The space itself is pretty small, but somehow they fit in a ton of seating. It does feel a little cozy because everything is pretty close together, but they also have outdoor seating and even a little dog area, which was honestly my favorite part. If I had known, I definitely would've brought my dogs with me. So on to my coffee order...ofc I had to get their drip coffee (iced) as it was hotttt that day and honestly, it hit the spot. It was exactly what I needed and fully satisfied my coffee craving. Then I wanted to try one of their specialty drinks, so I got the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. I was really excited for this one because the name sounds amazing, but unfortunately it was kind of a letdown. I couldn't really taste any mango or any other flavors. It mostly just tasted like a sweet matcha, and even the matcha flavor wasn't super strong. It wasn't terrible, but I probably wouldn't order it again or I would just a regular matcha! I wonder if they didn't get the correct order now that I think about it ‍ I was also debating between trying one of their pastries or their little ice cream collection on the side and I'm so glad I went with the ice cream because I got the White Chocolate Mocha Chip Cheesecake and wow... this was SO good. I highly recommend this coffee shop. Delicious drink options, a wide array of baked goods, and plenty of seating options for getting work done. It seems like this place stays busy so keep that in mind if you're coming to get some work done. The cashier was patient with me while I was inquiring about the various desserts and everything was ready for me in a timely manner. This was my 1st time trying this coffee shop/co-working space & it will NOT be my last! Everytime I come back to TX, I will go here for my coffee! The atmosphere was really chill as lots of people were working on laptops, having an intimate coffee date, etc. They had a back enclosed area where I noticed a lot of parents were with strollers & kids. I would say that kids are more than welcome to come here as well. I got the Snickers Mocha (Iced) & it was amazing!!! You can choose either Whipped Cream or Cold Foam to top it off & I chose whipped. I've been loving the fall menu! Recently, I've been cycling through the Autumn and Pumpkin Pie lattes, but today I tried adding their signature pumpkin pie syrup to chai and that was a game changer!! As always, everyone who works here is kind and patient, and they always provide helpful tips for customization and different flavor combinations. Nice place, we went mid afternoon & they were incredibly busy. Always a good sign. Spacious seating & a lot of it for a small place, it can get a bit noisy... sensory overload. I can get why they were packed, this is a student/work friendly with the big tables & outlets EVERYWHERE for your devices. Which if you are looking for a quiet place to study or work on your laptop, bring headphones. You are close to the table or booth next to you. They also had outdoor seating that had shade & fans so that is a nice options. We had iced coffees, they were huge! But to be honest, the coffee taste was okay. I had a sugar free caramel latte, the coffee flavor itself was as prominent as I'd hoped for. My friend also had a red velvet cupcake, she said it was dry. They had a good selection of pastries, I'm sure there will be a return visit for another chance to try a different drink & snack. The staff was friendly, the service was quick. Cute furniture & the place seemed clean! They also had some cute merchandise they were selling. Heard many great things about this cafe and it did not disappoint ! When I pulled up I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a drive up window that you can order at! I went with the Dirty Gingerbread Chai Latte ($7) with the milk alternative which wasn't that bad. Let's get into the taste though... bomb! Like I took a sip and did a little dance as it made my head so happy! All the necessary flavors were there! On top of that the latte was actually filled with liquid rather than a cup of ice with some liquid like some other chains we all know.... I would definitely recommend Java Lounge for a nice Lavender Matcha and Firecracker Chicken Sandwich. The ambiance is very welcoming, whether you are there to work, chill, or socialize. I've been there twice and both times, the playlist was ! So good that I almost got up to dance a couple times and was kind of a distraction from my work (but that was okay, I enjoyed it). i got a banana latte that was wayyy too sweet and it gave me a headache and i couldn't even finish it. turkey sandwich was just turkey, cheese, and two slices of tomato with chips. I felt so oily after eating it due to the lack of greens. Little to no outlets for charging so if you come here to study you better have ur devices charged. read more

First time visiting and likely would not return. First thing were white sheets of paper on every door that you cannot bring your own water inside. I almost left (even though I was getting to go, this was the OPPOSITE of welcoming!). Small coffee and muffin $10 + tip request Muffin heated, but barely. Seems stale, extremely dry and dense, unable to eat. Hoping coffee will redeem the situation but it's not even filled?!? Only about 3/4 filled. Other coffee shops fill to top. It does taste ok- but not 12oz coffee for this cost ok The case of baked good was attractive, the location is quite pretty. I had read on their site about being dog friendly which was what drew me to definitely want to check it out. I live in town and always prefer non-SB coffee, but I doubt I'd return. 2 stars for pretty decor only. Not recommended. read more

I went through their drive thru and you order at a drive thru door. The lady who took my order was friendly and explained the message behind the business. I ordered the iced lavender latte and lemon poppyseed muffin. I did mention that I didn't want whipped cream, but received it anyway. The iced lavender latte (16oz) with whipped cream wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be. The drink was delicious and filling on a hot summer day. The lemon poppyseed muffin paired nicely with the drink. I love that this coffeeshop is meant to be community based. I learned about Java Lounge through a fundraiser for my kid's school. What a fun place for human and pups alike!! The place was packed with families, couples, kiddos, and singles each enjoying the delicious drinks and eats that Java Lounge provides. The ambiance was perfect for a hangout place. I am a chai fan of 30 years and was intrigued to try their try - a ginger & tumeric blend. If you are wanting a sweet chai like Oregon Chai or Tazo brands, then this is not the chai for you. But if you want a great tasting tea - and love ginger then you will LOVE this chai!! It is made with whole milk which I love. What an amazing place! Besides great coffees and drinks, they have lots of comfortable seating for working or meeting others while you sip your drinks. Mid mornings, when I've been there, the place was almost full! Haven't tried the pastries but they look decadent and beyond delicious. Several of us went in for a gathering this morning. Found an area of small tables available. Coffee, iced tea, and hot chocolate were enjoyed along with a few pastries. Raspberry croissant looked delicious. My latte was served in a turquoise cup with white designs. Love the real cups! Paper to-go cups were available. Almond croissants were gone at 9:30. I can't say enough nice things about this place. I've gone a few times. Service is the friendliest and most consistent I've ever experienced. Food preparation and distribution is well-organized. You can sit inside with A/C or on a covered porch. Better yet, there's a mini dog park that I will be taking full advantage of once temperatures dip below 108 F.
