    Matcha latte
    Phylicia H.

Adorable gem and a place I would gladly come back to. Service was great, decor is very cute and pastries are delicious. Only "complaint" is everything is on the pricier end. If the portions were bigger, the price would make sense but it's not. Stopped by for breakfast this morning with my bf. We ordered one matcha latte, quiche Lorraine and Turkey sandwich. Total with 20% tip was $38.20, so a bit high for 3 breakfast items. Matcha latte and Turkey sandwich were just okay. The quiche Lorraine though gets a 10/10! Very flavorful and delicious. I could eat that everyday and never get bored.

A special selection of favorites for bride and groom. (We never even got to eat them because weddings are crazy).

Butterscotch has been the favorite spot of my wife and I for several years now. So, when planning our recent NYE wedding, we immediately reached out to Nui and her staff about providing some finger foods and desserts for our day. And... rating the experience and the products on a scale of 5 stars seems inadequate. Every aspect this process was great beyond our expectations. Seamless communication throughout, clear understanding of our needs and our budget, and every piece of food was both delicious and beautiful. If you need a perfect weekend meal for 2, or 75.... Or anything in between. There is no other choice. A million thank yous. From Dave, Jenny, and all of our guests.

    Cute little stream and bridge

It took me almost an hour to get here and it was worth every minute!!! Not only was the ride scenic and beautiful, but so was the place. They have a little stream going thru their property and there are tables and benches set up along it. Plenty of outdoor seating as well as a large indoor restaurant area. The food was amazing and home made. We tried the home made croissant sandwich and a breakfast wrap and both were delicious. We had fantastic drinks as well. Lavender iced tea and a chai latte. Then, I got some drinks and treats to take home for the kids. They liked everything I chose for them and can't wait to go back and experience the place in person. They even had a gluten free treat!

Super cute outside with well manicured garden. The butterscotch cake is delicious and I would recommend it to everyone.

Twice in 2 days !! What a delightful find. They have a beautiful outdoor seating by the stream. Desserts are just delicious. Sandwiches are delicious but slightly small for size. We were easily able to finish all the food and not feel uncomfortably full, which can be good or bad. Definitely go there if you're in the area. It's a really pretty cafe.

When you approach Butterscotch, you'll notice some Not-every-day design. Outdoor seating cozied into a wooded backdrop, where a stream emerges. All groomed. You'll cross over the stream, as you walk across the bridge to open the door. Inside is artisan cozy, stone and wood.. and the unique design continues, kids can sit on tractor seat stools and stand on the light changing logo embedded in the floor...( although they do tend to like the stream best.."all the better to play with my dear"). The straws, and condiments are arrayed on the cast iron stove. There's a clock with a feather for a second hand, (bounces around the dial) that feels very wonderland-like. There's a mini anvil in a set back shelf, A rack of rolling pins. Lots of copper piping, both functional and artistically enhancing. Most of the locals are genuinely warm. Both with each other and with newcomers. The women who run Butterscotch, are the stuff road trips are made memorable with. The food looks so good, its hard to believe..at first, that it tastes so good. Like a Parisienne moved to the countryside and opened a small corner of subdued sophistication. (Home away from home). They offer many drink choices, classic and exotic, including Thai-tea, that I recommend. (It's good when they have a line, so you can peruse at your leisure.) The countryside here, is some of my favorite in PA. Covered bridge in one direction. Wild Turkeys, and cute cannons set on stone fences, another.. Horse drawn lacquered carriages, Large Cranes standing in streams, neon blue dragonflies that harass the waterways. Fox and hound chases. And local pony riders that just belly up to the tables. The stretches of beautiful, draw the bikers, and bicyclers, on weekends. Your best bet is to come Thursday. Especially if you want to pretend you're in-the-know about this "swimming hole". It is definitely the place to bring out-of-towners. Like Longwood, I add this to my show off Pennsylvania, itinerary. Don't forget to come early. Many forgetful people show up after 2pm ..all that way, and gnawing stomach to show for it. Hard to lower your expectations .. on an empty stomach. .

Lobster salad on a bed of greens with hard boiled egg and tobiko. Splashed with oil/vinegar around the perimeter. Very tasty!

After my second hike no question that I wanted to come back here for another visit. Station Taproom is an attractive and comfortable pub with what I found to be an unexpected menu. Many dishes had an Asian influence, but with the additional plus of showcasing some exciting combinations of ingredients. VEGAN BANH MI ::: I had this on my first visit. The sandwich was made with plant-based meatballs, along with carrots, cucumber, plus much more in the mix. (I detected a note of hoisin in the mix, though not mentioned in the menu). "Meatballs" were definitely unexpected in a banh mi. WONTON NACHOS ::: On my second visit to the Taproom, which was last week, I had "wonton nachos". As per the menu, some of the ingredients were "hoisin-berry BBQ pork" as well as mozzarella and pepper jack, and wonton chips. Presentation was important, and I could see that they had spent extra time in plating the dish. A finishing touch was the "micro cilantro" that was delicately sprinkled over the top. I love cilantro, but had never seen it in "micro" form. It was very fresh, wondering now whether they grew it themselves. BEERS ::: On both my visits, "Rachel" made excellent recommendations for hazy IPA's. Great experiences both times.
