I can't even believe my interaction with the person that answered the phone yesterday. In a very friendly voice, I introduced myself and asked to speak to the manager. The person said he wasn't there. I asked when he would be back. The person said that he was on vacation. I asked what his name is and he said "Bill". He then abruptly hung up on me. Just before New Years, my son and his friends (aged 24) went into this establishment. My son purchased a decorative bottle of Clase Azul Reposado Tequila. The bottle was approx $200. He decided to leave the bottle at our home vs take it to a party, as it was expensive. A few days later, we noticed that there was barely any tequila in the bottle!! The bottle had remained in our home this entire time, safely stored. As you can see on the photo, what little was in the bottle has been leaking out of the bottom. When my son's friend was here, he mentioned that when it was purchased, the box had a large area that appeared to have been wet and then dried, on the bottom. Shame on my son for not seeing this. He is on the young side, but should have been more adept at reading the signs of this damaged item. More shame lies on the owner of this establishment. I described the accent of the person I spoke with at the store and my son confirmed that he was definitely the owner/manager that was there when he purchased it. I do not live in the area of this establishment, but I hope to follow-up, in-person, with this individual when I am in the area. read more

I rolled in here after picking up some steaks at MOMs. I was looking for a unique beer. I peered in all the coolers and there wasn't anything special. I went to the counter to see if the staff had any special singles anywhere. The woman didn't even look at me. She was busy running her numbers into the lottery machine. I left as I came, with no acknowledgement. So, if you are looking for a down and dirty, small brew selection, this place is you. Bonus, Joe Nam and I agreed on ratings. read more

First of all the prices in the store are way to high they have a poor selection of beer. Almost everywhere else in the area will have better prices and better selection. Secondly the younger woman clerk in there is an absolute POS to start. I'm in there the other day simply trying to buy an 18pk and she confiscates my real ID and proceeded to crease it in half even after it scanned on the machine and recited all information on the ID. she refused to give it back and had to get the police involved in order to get my ID back. Extremely rude lady and honestly not contributing much to society. long story short stay away from this place unless you want to deal with unintelligent, rude people, high prices, and some illegal destruct of property. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is awful. Horrible selection and the employees are rude and completely disrespectful. I was treated with the utmost disrespect and I think it had something to do with my race. So, not only are the employees disrespectful and rude, but they also could be racist. Ugh. So I only shop there when I an't get to the Wine Source, because I work in Timonium. Never again, though: I just stopped by there for the first time since their move. It was late and fairly empty, and the guy who I assume is the owner started chatting me up. He asked if I'd known the old store, and how I liked the new one. When I said I liked the new store better, he said, "thank you, thank you" and hugged me. Before I could wiggle out of the hug, he tried to kiss me. I had to shove him in the chest really hard to get rid of him, I set down the bottle I was holding and left. read more

This store has moved into a bigger and better store right next to the old one and it's perfect! It has more room inside, it's clean, and they have more selection now. Staff is nice and always ready to help! read more

I've been to this store about 2 or 3 times; usually when it's fairly empty. It was around 2 pm broad day light. Today I realized I get the "special treatment." Despicable behavior. Some middle aged Pakistani guy - out of nowhere - takes refuge at the front door like he's on patrol. Or he just stares at me. I'm always asked to provide ID when the customer in front of me didn't have to. What a way to treat customers. Today the cashier kinda felt bad and gave me the heads up that the only reason he was asking is because the BOSS was watching HIM! That would be the Pakistani guy that appears out of nowhere whenever I visit. I got it loud and clear. With all of the subtle rudeness and $50 order I'm still not worthy of a thank you or come back again from the Pakistani guy. After exiting the store I drove past the front entrance. The store is not that big. He was gone...or pulled a disappearing act. Honestly it's 2014. I would rather these small-sized businesses post a sign in the front window simply stating what types of customers that did not want. Prices were a few dollars higher for each item over a few other local places. The clerk was talking on his phone the whole time and didn't great the customer before me or me. Very rude. I mentioned it politely, and he shrugged and apologized, but remained on the phone. He was definitely not on an emergency family call. We won be going back. read more
