The lady I had been consistently seeing the past 2 years didn't have any availability for 3 months out when I called to set a touch up appointment with her. And with regular injections, 3 months plus out is a LIFETIME to wait. In comes my introduction to Trish...the "Youth Gods" intervening I like to think. What caught my attention was the pricing. I've always paid per unit anywhere between $9-12. Not here, it is per injection site/location. I always get my full forehead, scalp, crows feet, and upper lip (flip). Each site/location has its own pricing. But what had me SOLD and now a true Trish follower, following your injection treatment you get the opportunity to schedule a follow up within 1-3 weeks to come back in and get any touch up that you personally feel needs a little more "oomph". No Extra Charge!!! My 10 years of history, the 3 weeks proceeding I always need a little bit more because something didn't take or is not "frozen" enough to my liking and each time I have to shell out even more money. Trish took all the time I personally needed to feel confident and comfortable. I explained to her I like to be completely "frozen", zero movement in the areas I get treated. My first treatment came out Outstanding, but of course I always see what others don't because I'm my harshest critic, went back 2 weeks later and got a little bit more in the areas I addressed. Trish, once again took her time with me and I walked out looking 10 years younger her. The full staff I encountered on both initial visits were friendly, professional and kind. I put off writing this review for about a year, but I've decided to finally share my experience so…read moreothers can be more informed. I initially chose Dr. Nykiel based on his positive reviews, but I ended up feeling disappointed not only with my outcome, but also with how my experience was handled. I am a petite asian girl that already had a good foundation to begin with, so I thought there would be no issues with the outcome. We both decided that an upside down heart shaped butt would look best on me, even printing out inspirations of what I wanted. The surgery finally came (May 2025) and I woke up laying flat on my butt. Idk if that affected the outcome but my butt came out looking like a square, I tried to keep positive, as it was supposedly going to get better overtime. Every consultation I had with him, he always came alone in his office. I found that strange, because I have never had a doctor evaluate me without a second person there to be a witness. At a follow-up visit, I expressed that I was still unhappy with my results, and he asked me, "Have you thought about getting implants?" That comment left me frustrated and confused, as I had specifically come to him for a BBL. It made me question him as a surgeon, and why he would agree to do it in the first place. Since then, the consultations have felt like an ongoing back-and-forth without a clear direction or resolution, as if he didn't remember any of our previous conversations. At times, the outcome was attributed to my body composition, which I personally found difficult to reconcile with earlier conversations about my goals and expectations. During the last consultation on September 24, 20225, I made a point to document the interaction because I've consistently felt like I'm not getting clear or consistent answers from him. I asked if we could take before-and-after photos, and he agreed, so I took a few. I then asked if I could record a video of him explaining the results for my own records, and he initially agreed to that as well. However, once I began recording and asked him to walk me through the before-and-after, he became defensive and abruptly ended the conversation by leaving the room. This has been an incredibly long and difficult experience, and the way he handled it has honestly been traumatic for me. When I tried to confront him about everything, he yelled at me to "get out." I was left shaking and completely overwhelmed. This situation has caused me significant emotional distress--I think about it every day, and haven't fully recovered from the trauma. I'm sharing this as a warning to other women: please be cautious, and consider bringing someone with you to your consultations. In my experience, I felt dismissed and that my concerns weren't acknowledged, really thinking why (as a patient) I was treated like this. I am now trying to close this chapter of my experience with him, and hoping to get this fixed somewhere else. There was more unprofessionalism that Dr. Nykiel and the staff had me go through but I'm keeping this short.

The molar had been bothering me for years but I finally decided to do something about it. When I had my X-ray taken, Dr. Gilbert showed me that the molar and surrounding gum tissue were infected and that my body has been fighting an active infection! I had been feeling more run-down than usual this past year I thought that it could be this molar; I was relieved to discover that I was right. I immediately scheduled a surgery date for the extraction, bone graft, and ensuing dental implant. Dr. Gilbert told me that I would feel so much better after getting the molar removed. The day arrived and I had my molar removed as a well as the bone graft. Dr. Gilbert was right, I felt so much better immediately after surgery! I didn't bleed much and didn't have much swelling. Moreover, I barely had any pain and only had to take one Motrin the first day - which I took preemptively but I probably didn't need it. About a month ago, I went back for the dental implant procedure. The X-ray showed that my bone graft was adequate and I went right into surgery. After the second surgery, I was grateful to experience a similar result as the first surgery - very little bleeding, pain, or swelling. I just went in for my 4 week follow-up and my implant healed nicely, so nicely in fact that my gums healed over the implant! I have a bone-disease similar to osteoporosis and I'm very particular about who I choose to operate on me. Dr. Gilbert presented himself as professional, confident, and most importantly capable of meeting the challenge of performing a successful dental implant procedure on me. Thank you, Dr. Gilbert! Not only that but they told me my procedure was minor. The minor surgery took off a huge football piece of skin on one side. I wasn't completely numb for the procedure ana felt the first cut. It took an hour to perform and i was awake the whole time. My surgery did turn out great after recovering but I don't think I would pick them again.

I began hormone replacement therapy (HRT) through the wellness side of Li Surgery in November, with a scheduled follow-up in February for pellet reinsertion. In January, I also enrolled in an additional 3-month program, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for the same February date. On the day of my appointment, I received a call informing me that the wellness center was closing effective immediately. This left me scrambling to find a new HRT provider, which is already a stressful and time-sensitive process. I reached out regarding a refund for the 3-month program I had just started in January. After multiple emails and calls with no response, I was eventually told I would not receive a refund because I had received medication. However, I was only provided a 30-day vial for what was supposed to be a 90-day program. I did not receive additional refills, nor did I receive the follow-up visits that were included in the program services that were canceled by the clinic, not by me. Additionally, the original flyer clearly stated that if the treatment was not a good fit or did not work, a full refund would be issued. Despite this, I have still not received any refund or resolution. Prior to this situation, my experience was positive, staff were friendly and the clinic appeared professional. Unfortunately, the way this closure and billing issue have been handled has been extremely disappointing and has left me without both care and accountability. I hope the office takes responsibility and works toward a fair resolution.

My results are perfect, they totally exceeded my expectations, and my 'recovery', the speed of it still amazes me, three months later. I have read so much about others' tough recoveries which, to be honest, I was expecting - I mean it's full face surgery, it seems a big deal, right?! I was expecting the worst BUT...honestly, it was shockingly easy, I experienced very little pain and discomfort. I cleaned my entire house five days after my surgery, it was as though I had only undergone a minor procedure. I don't know how Dr. Machida manages this, like I said, a true magician. To clarify, I had the deep plane face/neck lift, upper blepharoplasty and the full face CO2 laser treatment.
