It's part of Market Square Tower, one of the prettiest buildings in town. Not to be confused with Sarcy Mare Tower, which is when a very sassy horse owns a tall building. This is a gorgeous huge building with some of the best views in downtown Houston as far as apartments go, and you will pay a premium in terms of the price for that exact reason. It's still really good and gorgeous, and we would definitely stay here and live here if money was no object and we wanted to live downtown. I haven't been exposed to quite as much shadiness and major red flags from my investigations into living here, as with some of the very very shady properties over in Montrose and The Heights. The pool itself is second to none, it's one of the most iconic pools in the country, certainly the most amazing in Texas along with, perhaps, the Texas outline pool that is nearby. This is a medium level gym with a $200 to $300 a month membership cost. At that price point, one would expect the staff to have the appropriate level of experience and have a reasonable level of natural people skills. The fact the employees may be inexperienced / young / niave is certainly not justification for the customer / member to have any bad experience. It only reveals that management has made bad hiring decisions and has neglected to train the staff. Overall, the facilities and equipment are good and the place is clean. The people part can be less than adequate.

The best thing about this park is that just outside the entrance to the park are restrooms & a filtered water fountain bottle filler. Very convenient!

White Oak Bayou Trail You might see trash flying or lying around this park and the pool looks like someone might've drowned in it. Never seen anyone use the pool before (weird). Also no portable or working restrooms nearby as one reviewer pointed out. Such a shame. Since the White Oak trail is next to my home, I find myself jogging/running through here a few times. As much as I like the view at times, this park leaves more to be desired. A lower rating would be in store but the disc golfing and dog friendly environment make up for it.
