    Shrimp quesadilla. Yum!
    Colleen B.

I visited Buzzard's yesterday and loved this place! It is nestled in a bed and breakfast right in the desert of Cabo. I went for lunch with 3 others and we all enjoyed our experience! We started with the poblano and onion ring combo. They were served with a chipotle ranch dressing. They were delicious and lightly fried! For lunch, I opted for the southwest chicken salad. My mom and sister split the shrimp quesadilla. Our friend ordered the coconut shrimp. I was a bit disappointed by my salad, as it didn't have many toppings. It was a few beans and corn. I did love the chicken and cheese, as well as the dressing. However, I knew salad probably wasn't the best choice in the beginning! My mom and sister loved their shrimp quesadilla. They said it was very flavorful. Our friend let me taste the coconut shrimp and it was fabulous. Great coconut flavor and not too fried. Overall, Buzzard's was a really great place! I definitely recommend.

I have always liked this place. On the DL, good food, really nice staff and competitive prices. The breakfast is good. Lunch and dinner are better. But they close early.

We've been going to Buzzard's for years and the place is really great. Awesome drinks, delicious food served in huge portions, and the customer service is fantastic every time. Great bunch of friendly people serving up quality food and drinks on the sand, what the hell else is there in life???? Get in there and relax with some nachos and pina coladas next time you're in the area. Breakfast favorite - breakfast burrito Lunch fave- check the fresh selections Drink - they make great pina coladas Pro tip - check their hours to make sure they're open.

Buzzards is one of those places that you have to have been there to know where it is... sort of. It used to be on the one road out to East Cape. A dirt road that passed right by Buzzards. Now they have paved a very long stretch of road back out further away from the ocean that tends to bypass some of these places. Both a good thing and bad. On one hand, it's quite nice to drive on a paved road, not shaking your brains apart and on another dirt beach passage routes are kinda what the old surfer days are all about. At least there's a turn off that will take you down to where Buzzards is. that is a great thing cause it''s a really cool place to sit relax, have a drink and something to eat. When you pull up it already looks like a place you want to hang around. The ocean is right there - you can hear the waves pounding the sand. You walk over a sand pathway to a big palm leaf palapa with tables and a bar right there in sight. Ahhhhhhhh, You have made it and you can't help but exhale in a sigh of relief. You can feel any anxiety or tension leave your body. This place is practically a spa. It's not but it feels that way. It's a bar open to the air and there are birds chirping, lizards hanging out... it's like a wildlife reserve. I guess it's like a lot of things that make you feel really good. Food, drinks, relaxation, wildlife, sand under your toes, relaxation, sun, friendliness. You getting the point yet? It's so nice to visit and every year we do just that. Geeze. I thought I was done with my vacation but I guess I miss it. Places like Buzzards that make it so wonderful for us. Ugh. If it weren't cold out I go sit at the beach, close my eyes and imagine i'm still there. Oh well... next year.

Been here a million times in past 15 years and sure I have Yelped it before but here goes again. A bit out of the way on desolate desert road. It used to be so bad and no pavement but new pavement is underway and conditions are improving. Come here for an adventure drive and to get away. Margaritas are almost too much, large and very loaded. Folks staffing the place are the best. Bring your dog and no problema. A few apps and a few drinks and it's time to head back or stay and get a room, seriously, relax. Simple, straight forward with a few surprises, like very good food. It's a bar restaurant on the beach after trekking through the desert, quite welcoming. Hopefully not too many come though because the isolation atmosphere is a big attraction for me.

    Mexican Flan...crazy delicious!

We decided to stop for a cerveza at Buzzard's after a long walk on the beach. They were so welcoming and friendly. The vibe is very chill and fun. We decided to go back for dinner and we are so glad we did! Our drinks and food were amazing! My husband loved the Cadillac margarita. Authentic Mexican dishes, with the best flavors. Literally everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked amazing. The only dessert on the menu is Mexican flan and it is out of this world! We are so happy we found this place. We plan to go back one more time before we leave San Jose del Cabo. Definitely try Buzzard's!

From the moment…read morewe walked into the intimate open-air courtyard, we knew we were in for something special. The setting feels like a hidden backyard oasis -- soft lighting, light music playing in the background, and a cozy, romantic atmosphere that still feels relaxed and welcoming. The food was phenomenal. We started with the Tuétanos (bone marrow), which was rich and perfectly roasted, topped with charred corn, fresh radishes, and Serrano chiles that added brightness and just the right amount of heat. It was indulgent without being overwhelming -- an incredible starter. The Queso Fundido with chistorra sausage was everything you want it to be -- bubbling, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with the smoky, slightly spicy chistorra. Comfort food elevated. For our main, we had the ribeye, and it was outstanding. Cooked beautifully, deeply flavorful, and high quality. Every bite reinforced how much care goes into the food here. What really stood out was the value. The quality of the dishes rivals some of the higher-end restaurants in Cabo, yet the pricing felt more than fair. Based on food quality and overall experience, this easily ranks among our favorite dinners of the trip. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the night, which made the entire experience feel even more special. If you're looking for an intimate setting, exceptional food, and great value in Los Cabos, Traspatio is a must.

My family was in the mood for really good ribs after overdosing on shrimp and Mexican food search up ribs on yelp and TripAdvisor and found this place listed so impressed from the minute. We arrive with a beautiful garden, outdoor cozy, dining area and fire up grill. Our server was amazing and she spoke perfect English and took my father's ridiculous jokes with a smile and a grain of salt. She also made sure that my mother knew that her dish was a smaller serving which my mom actually didn't even finish. We ordered the pork rib dinner with an upgrade of the baked potato, which was the best thing ever. Potato was perfectly served with a mixture of butter, and perhaps sour cream wished and large fresh chunks of bacon on top. The sauce barbecue was sweet and tangy, but not too much of either. For the moment we walked into the moment we left everything was absolutely perfect. The ambience is inviting and soothing, and the food absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place and will keep it on my return to list whenever I am in San Jose del Cabo! PS we are still kicking ourselves because we ran out to catch our Uber before getting our box up leftovers.!

Great service from staff- per usual…read more Got confused coming to this restaurant as they are rebranding the name & it's another name on other brochures as their "steakhouse". Server was nice, it's a gorgeous outside restaurant. Can be a little chilly so it's great they offer blankets. Got their mocktail that was similar to a pina colada- was great! Fresh & tasty! Tomato soup was my servers choice of soup which was good, just a little bland & not super hot. Served with a mini grilled cheese that I didn't care for. they also brought out complimentary bread as I was finishing dinner that I didn't care much for either. One was stuffed with cheese, but the bread was so hard it was like a rock. Served with honey bacon butter which THAT was good. For my main, I ordered the roasted chicken thighs which were SOOOOOOOOOO good!! Was not expecting it to be that great! Truly shocked & very pleased. Ordered a side of asapargus to go with it since I'm not a fan of grilled pineapple which the chicken was served with. Also, if you like hot sauce please ask for their habanero one!! SO DANG GOOD.

When we first went there, the receptionist asked our room number and if we had any dietary restrictions. We told her that we can't have any pork or bacons. Then she took us to our table which was right in-front of the kitchen and the pool. The live music was going on, the atmosphere was great. We ordered the MELTED CHEESE (200 g) as the starter, RIB EYE (350 g) & GRILLED OCTOPUS (250 g) as main entrees and finally BAKED APPLE as dessert. We placed our orders at 6:55 pm and then kept waiting and waiting! After waiting 35+ minutes we literally had to flag down our waitress as she NEVER came to our table even once to check on us or to give us any updates on our orders. We asked her what happened to our appetizer/starter item and to that she said she will have to and ask. Finally at 7:46 pm the foods came...the pathetic "house" bread, the starter and the main dishes...all at once! Remember the receptionist asked at the very beginning if we had any dietary restrictions and we said we don't eat pork/bacon?? Guess what...the house bread came with bacon-butter! When we told them we can't have that butter, they were very kind to replace it with some store bought butter packets. The house bread was a shameful item. The starter was okay. The main dishes were actually pretty good. The dessert item was ok, but the serving size was very small comparing with the price. And as we were sitting in the open air for about 2 hours, it was getting chilly. The heater they brought for us didn't even work. It turned off twice automatically after few seconds and the staff just left it there. DEFINITELY never going back to this place again for meals. It's a beautiful place to have drinks but may be not meals.
