I got the special which was a grilled ribeye with mole and it was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Everything was so flavorful. The steak was cooked perfectly. My wife, daughter, daughters friend and I were looking for somewhere different to try our last trip down to Cabo and decided to give 7 Seas a try. 7 Seas is around the midpoint between Cabo San Lucas & San Jose del Cabo and right on the Sea of Cortez. In fact from where we were sitting we could see the waves crashing into the beach below us and I noticed some of the tables setup for dinner were right on the beach which I would recommend and plan to try myself next time! The food was great and slightly priced above average in Cabo in my opinion. But totally in line with setting of being right on the beach! I had the stuffed pepper of some sort and every bite was incredible! The service was perfect and we had the perfect transition from one waiter to the next during our meal so bravo to those two waiters for making sure all was smooth during the shift change. The fresh berry cheesecake was my favorite dessert and I can't wait to return and hit the live music that I saw on a sign as we headed out for the night! Came to this place off of positive yelp reviews and was immediately confused upon entering. The restaurant was completely empty, and while it had nice views, the ambiance left little to be desired. After reading some reviews, we decided to give 7 Seas a try. We're sooooooo glad we did. The crab stuffed avocados as a starter were perfect, and we followed that up with main courses of the tuna taco trio and shrimp scampi with risotto and grilled vegetables. I loved watching the surfers surf and the sunset was gorgeous! We celebrated a birthday here and they gave a free dessert and other free little food samplers. Ate here twice in the weekend. First time had the chicken quesadilla and a specialty cocktail. On ey ou add tax and tip, it was $55 USD. Second time, I just had a taco salad. Service was great! We visited 7 Seas with a larger group for dinner our first night in San Jose. While the location and the ambiance of the restaurant is really great the food was decent. The chef sent out a few compliments from the kitchen that consisted of a salmon mousse app and ended with a round of dessert cake bites. I thought that was a great addition to our experience. We had pleasant interactions with the waitstaff and they were attentive to our needs. I would stop in next time for some drinks and an appetizer to take in the views! read more

Great food. Great service with an amazing view. Perched atop the main floor of the Cabo Surf Hotel, the views of the water and sand are unmatched here. On top of that, the servers were super kind and patient and let me use my Spanglish skills. I ate here every day for 4 days and did not get tired of any meals. The carne asada quesadilla was my hands down favorite thing to order but the breakfast chilaquiles and the eggs Benedict were also delicious. I would skip the burgers and pizza if I came again but chicken strips were surprisingly tasty as was the calamari- both in a tempura-like batter. How I got this lucky... I do not know but this place is 5 STARS!!! On this search for some restaurant near the beach my dad got impatient and asked our Uber driver to abandon the search and just bring us somewhere with good food. She brought us her. Surprised that you didn't need a membership reservations or room we sat down as a party of 4. It's part of a hotel so you could see the gift shop, beach and part of an infinity pool area when coming in. I loved the service, spot on. We literally just ordered entrees and drinks but they brought out a small appetizer compliments of the chef. I did not partake because although they were super specific about food allergies; the chefs plate had avocado which I'm deathly allergic to. I wasn't offended I just found it funny that although 3 ppl asked me and wrote down notes- avocado still ended up somewhere. So for the drinks I had a Pink Margarita 5/5 tajin. The rim really sealed the deal along side the grapefruit pulp under the ice- super smart. They also gave me a taste of the Cabernet that my father decided on. It was super mellow not a lot of sweetness or oak but it was smooth. When the entrees came I took out my phone in front of all the elite strangers present and used the table lighting for some dope pictures (zero shame) lol. I had the Surf & Turf which was to be split with my son. The softest buttery steak came I picked chefs choice and it was a little bit more rare than I would have chosen myself- but I enjoyed it. It came with linguini covered in lobster and a kind of vinegary sauce that was not Alfredo -(ish) but had fresh parm on top. I wasn't too crazy about and there was also peas. Even tho I wasn't crazy about the sauce the meal overall was good and enough for 2 grown ppl to share. My dad had the sea bass which was not Chilean. It looked good that's for sure. And I convinced my very picky young woman of a daughter to get the chicken mole enchiladas. This girl DEVOURED that thang. She was like no thank you at dessert lol. And that's dope bc she is super picky and we are in Mexico. I have always been passionate about Mexican food and this was a unique way to share my food experiences with her bc it was super authentic and great. Everyone was then commenting on how we should have gone with a more traditional dish and vowed to try again the next day. Here's what made me love this place. The amuse buche or whatever he said I didn't get to try but it looked amazing and it was compliments of the chef 5/5. Then they had this cute raisin bread that I also didn't try (lol) imagine that. But it came with butter and pesto and some guajillo chile sauce that my Dad just ate up (and he "doesn't eat bread") I enjoyed watching he taste all the sauces and my son shy away. It's nice to try new things. 4/5 And then (and then) there was a pallet cleanser with lime and tajin that blew my son and father away. It was the cutest little thing but really packed a punch and set us up for dinner. 5/5 And when we were all satisfied and full and in need of our bed we called and Uber and they brought the check but not without adding some dessert. We said no thank you and they said again it was compliments of the chef 4 little cute mini cupcakes with almonds. (I also didn't try because I didn't want my daughter to feel forced into trying dessert when she was already full) plus I'm not supposed to be eating almonds. And get this even tho I only ate a little; I LOVED a whole lot of things that they had going on. The service was 5/5 Atmosphere eating in the beach under the stars hearing that waves crash and the quaint little lights with the amber glow 5/5 It wasn't noisy it was very relaxed but I was not afraid to laugh out loud at the funny jokes the waiters made in Spanish. The food was just a little bit too salty or else I would have given this place all stars! We were greeted immediately and placed at a beachside table. We ordered the mix ceviche and it was good. My hubs thought it was tooo sour though. We also got some guacamole for the table. I didn't love the chips because it was super thick. They also have a kids menu with coloring page! A nice tough to entertain kids! Also had some good cocktails I really liked the Oaxaca mule. This game we ordered: Lobster- mP was $60 with 2 lobster tails. It was good but salty. I was able to sub potato's for spinach. Lamb chops - smelled amazing and great Seabass with noodles! All good except when u get to the bottom it was super salty The vegetarian tacos- my dad just was lost in the tacos and pieces lol. For desert we had the churros and I loved that it was nice and hot! This place was the best food I had to eat in Cabo. The staff was very knowledgeable, super friendly and quick to help. We can for a birthday and they made it very special for us with a very nice table, some extra treats and they even sang us Feliz Cumpleanos! The food came out quickly and it was delicious. We had the Kamachi sashimi, Caesar salad and arugula fig salad, oysters Rockefeller, surf and turf with filet mignon and lobster and ribeye and lobster, sashimi roll and the citrus hamachi, not to mention a desert sampler tray! Wow everything was amazing we ate everything. The views during the day are probably amazing, but at night the sound of the waves crashing and the cool breeze rolling in was spectacular. The wine choices were plentiful, we had wine from Mexico to Napa. Both were very good. I recommend this place 10/10 and will certainly make an effort to come back next time we come to Cabo. This restaurant is onsite at the Cabo Surf Hotel which is located on the beach in front of a popular surf break. Great views of the ocean at this restaurant! It's pricey and the food is delicious but the staff are wonderful and it really has a nice ambience with the ocean staring ahead of you. I ate here multiple times during my stay at the hotel and got dessert every night. You don't need to be a guest of the hotel to eat at the restaurant so I highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. read more

This is a great beach front restaurant near San Jose. Definitely one of our favorites. You can sit on the terrace or right on the sand. Surfers are bobbing in the surrounding water occasionaly catching a wave. The service is grea, the food is tasty. We had poblano enchiladas and the mixed enchiladas with 3 sauces. They also have great seafood. Latest menu is included in this review. The only issue we had was that there was an extra 1000 peso charge on our bill dor a bottle of wine that we did not order but they removed it when we pointed it. I seem to hear of this happening more often in Cabo in general this year so be sure to review your bill. Try it and you'll probably go back every trip. read more

Ocean front restaurant, awesome view even from inside of the restaurant. Heated patio for the winter/windy months and they provide blankets, so you are "covered" ;) Friendly service and food comes out quick and fresh. Margaritas and other fruit drinks are made with real fruit, very tropical and refreshing! Ceviche is a must -freshest fish/shrimp with cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado, making it crispy and juicy (they give free samples of this too on chips, but if you have a large group definitely get this to share). We tried different preparations of sea bass, all well executed - fish seared with gold crust and tender inside, paired with well flavored sauce (not overly salty); the noodles was a bit too salty and presentation wise weirded just laid a bunch of pickled ginger, some avocados and a stick of cucumber... if they shred the cucumber into the noodles might be better. Chef's prep of red snapper was on a bed of carrot purée with seared mushrooms and spinach, nicely seasoned. Lamb chop was also cooked perfectly with black pepper, it could have served with better sauce, instead of just a side of steak sauce. Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse was nice - as a birthday treat. And the churros with chocolate sauce was amazing - crunchy hot crust with chewy hallow inside (we added vanilla ice cream to have the hot/ice crunch/soft contrast). read more
