My wife, daughter, daughters friend and I were looking for somewhere different to try our last trip down to Cabo and decided to give 7 Seas a try. 7 Seas is around the midpoint between Cabo San Lucas & San Jose del Cabo and right on the Sea of Cortez. In fact from where we were sitting we could see the waves crashing into the beach below us and I noticed some of the tables setup for dinner were right on the beach which I would recommend and plan to try myself next time! The food was great and slightly priced above average in Cabo in my opinion. But totally in line with setting of being right on the beach! I had the stuffed pepper of some sort and every bite was incredible! The service was perfect and we had the perfect transition from one waiter to the next during our meal so bravo to those two waiters for making sure all was smooth during the shift change. The fresh berry cheesecake was my favorite dessert and I can't wait to return and hit the live music that I saw on a sign as we headed out for the night! Bravo to executive chef Alejandro Rodriguez Ponce for an incredible edible adventure that night!

This restaurant is now at the top of our list for favorite meals. The service was amazing and all the food was spectacular!

After reading some reviews, we decided to give 7 Seas a try. We're sooooooo glad we did. The crab stuffed avocados as a starter were perfect, and we followed that up with main courses of the tuna taco trio and shrimp scampi with risotto and grilled vegetables. Everything was yummy, with a special call out for the risotto as being truly special. We'll definitely eat here again, maybe tomorrow!

Wonderful setting nice outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. The service team was very pleasant. Gave us a lot of space no rush whatsoever food and drinks were great.

This restaurant has the most gorgeous views of the beach, surfers and had amazing customer service. It is on the pricier side, but definitely worth it! I loved watching the surfers surf and the sunset was gorgeous! We celebrated a birthday here and they gave a free dessert and other free little food samplers. The majority of my group got sea bass, which did not disappoint. It was very soft and buttery. I'm definitely coming back to eat at this place since it was sooo beautiful and everyone was so friendly!

Ate here twice in the weekend. First time had the chicken quesadilla and a specialty cocktail. On ey ou add tax and tip, it was $55 USD. Second time, I just had a taco salad. Service was great! Staff is very friendly. You have an incredible view of the ocean, waves, and beach. Food was yummy, but nothing too special. I felt the serving size was slightly too small considering the prices.

We visited 7 Seas with a larger group for dinner our first night in San Jose. While the location and the ambiance of the restaurant is really great the food was decent. The chef sent out a few compliments from the kitchen that consisted of a salmon mousse app and ended with a round of dessert cake bites. I thought that was a great addition to our experience. We had pleasant interactions with the waitstaff and they were attentive to our needs. I would stop in next time for some drinks and an appetizer to take in the views!

My wife and I went for our anniversary and it was fantastic! Located literally on the beach and in a VERY COOL boutique-y hotel setting, the presentation and ambiance was fancy, yet beach casual like all things Cabo. The fist thing you will notice is the super nice staff. Our servers we Laura and Javier (hope you don't mind the call out). You were so sweet on our special night......perfect balance of attentiveness and allowing privacy. My wife got the Cabrilla (Mexican sea bass) and I had the Filet Mignon. Just outstanding. Go here and skip the drastically over priced, and mediocre so called farm-to-table places. Thank you 7 Seas for a really nice night out!

The service was impeccable. The food was really good!! And if you want your drinks to have full flavor - tell them! Otherwise, you'll have a tasteless "skinny" cocktail. But once we settled that - they cocktails were amazing!!! Yum. And the crashing waves in the distance made it sublime.

The staff and food here were both remarkable!!! Upon entering the restaurant they had a staff member waiting for me and my fiance (they knew from the gate guard when we arrived who I was). I had the surf and turf lobster, which was amazing! Our table was in front of a panoramic view of the ocean and was a great way to conclude our trip to Cabo. I highly recommend this restaurant for an amazing experience!!

Stayed at Cabo Surf Hotel where the 7 Seas restaurant is located. Ate dinner here twice. Their chef, Mr Ponce, is a culinary genius!!! The good: Cesar Salad Shrimp Ricotta Ravioli (a little too much sauce made the ravioli a little runny) The Great: Apple and Spinach Salad Sea Bass (amazing) Churros Poblano Chicken Enchiladas If we were staying longer it would be dinner here every night!!!!

After spending a few days in Cabo and trying to avoid the overpriced tourist traps, we decided to…read moretry Apostolis. It was not loud and crowded like all the other spots. Prices were also much more reasonable. We talked to the person in front of the restaurant because he was actually polite and not pushy like all the other "sales" guys on the Marina. He told us about the different options they have for cooking fresh caught fish. We caught a nice yellow fin tuna the day before and the restaurants offerings sounded pretty good. We gave them our fish, and chose to have them make the tuna 3 ways. They brought out complimentary pistachio bread with olive oil and vinegar as well as pita bread and garlic hummus. Both were pretty good, but nothing amazing. After that, our first tuna course came out. It was a crudo style dish with Parmesan cheese, capers, and a vinaigrette. It was absolutely delicious and i was very surprised that the cheese went with the fresh tuna. I am usually opposed to pairing dairy with my seafood. But this just worked and I could have eaten the entire tuna prepared this way. Then came a grilled preparation of the tuna with a light tomato, zucchini, and olive sauce. It was paired with a Bulgar wheat salad and a beet salad. The beets were just average, but the Bulgar wheat was a perfect pairing with the fish. Lastly, we had a pan cooked tuna with a balsamic onion sauce. We though that the sauce was a bit heavy and over-powered the fish, but it was still delicious nonetheless. It came with a green salad and a garlic mashed potatoes and those were good but nothing amazing. This place did not have the crowds of the tourist traps, but more people should be eating here instead of the Americanized nachos and quesadillas at the other restaurants on the Marina. True, this place is not authentic Mexican either, but its a great change of pace from the other Marina spots.

Ambiance: The restaurant is located right next to the beach nestled with two other restaurants. It was a bit windy, but it was an incredible view for us (see photo). Staff: From the hostess to our server, the wait staff was incredible! Lots of personality & friendliness the whole dining experience! Dining: We ordered: -Maze (baba ghanoush, hummus, jacoque with chipotle & pita bread) ***The Maze was very nice. Three distinct flavors that were all incredible. However, the pita left a lot to be desired. It was too thick...almost like a shortbread. Don't think that you will get an actual pita bread...it was not that at all. Now, it was still edible & paired nicely with the three dips, but it is not pita. -Falafel with Greek Sauce Yoghurt ***The falafel was very nice & paired nicely with the yoghurt! There was a small pile of green salad as well. -Chicken Shwarma with coleslaw salad & potato & garlic dressing ***I do not recommend this dish. The chicken was not seasoned & the coleslaw did not have enough bite. The tortilla it was wrapped in was also just very average. The dressing was not "garlicky" enough either. This is not your traditional Shawarma you would get from "Halal Guys" for example. -Lamb & Beef Kofta with greek yoghurt dressing & curry ***This was incredibly delicious! The Kofta was seasoned to perfection & was cooked perfectly! It had the same yoghurt dressing as the falafel & unfortunately the same green salad on the side. So, I'll take a little bit off of that, but I definitely recommend the Kofta! -Arabic Sweets Trilogy (baklava, bridal fingers, & graibes) ***I really wanted the trilogy, but unfortunately they only had the baklava. This was their interpretation, but it was good! It was crispy & flaky as it should be & they paired it with a nice vanilla bean ice cream. Since they did not have the trilogy, they brought out two plates with two pieces of baklava on each plate to make up for not having the trilogy. Thanks for trying to make it right! Overall, I'd recommend with the caveats above in mind. The location is beautiful...we watched the sunset fall over the boats in the harbor...breathtaking!

It was just me and my husband, but there were quite a few larger groups dining while we were here. The service is wonderful. We had two main waiters, both of whom were kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The cocktails and the wine we ordered were wonderful. I really loved the cocktail we ordered! Our dining experience was nice, but the food we ordered was just okay. I wouldn't call it some of the best of Cabo. Of our six dinners in Cabo, I would say it was probably our second to least favorite. But, that's not saying it was bad! It just wasn't on par with the other restaurants we dined at. First, I told the restaurant both when I made the reservation and when two different people at the restaurant inquired about food restrictions that I could not have cheese. The first thing served to us - an amuse bouche - was heavy on the cheese. It was a rather large ravioli, which was much larger than a normal amuse bouche -- and it had cheese inside the ravioli, a cheesy sauce, and cheese grated on top. So I could not eat a bite of it. My husband said it was just okay. The best thing we ordered here was the aguachile. It was beautiful, colorful, artfully presented, and absolutely delicious. So fresh, and well prepared. Loved it! Our main courses, however, were a little disappointing. They tasted fine, but ate more like the kind of main course you would order at a chain Italian restaurant in the US: heavy, chewy, and generic. But my personal saddest moment was when the churros arrived. I love churros, so very much. These looked beautiful, but when my husband and I cut into ours, they were all raw on the inside. So the flavor outside was delicious but we couldn't eat more than the ends of the churros. Overall, I enjoyed the experience of dining at Casa Martin... I just wish the food was better. I am hoping it was just an off night, and I look forward to revisiting this restaurant on a future visit to Cabo and hopefully having a better meal (but the aguachile was seriously so good - order that!).
