Was taken aback by the price here when we first saw the menu (SF bay area price tag). But two dinners and one breakfast later I was convinced: quality of food and the presentation were both excellent, well deserving of the price tag, if you pretend you are in the states (which I guess is not unfair for cabo). For lunch/dinner: we strongly recommend the seafood linguini. This is hands down our favorite dish and we got it both nights. The surprisingly pink sauce was super creamy and flavorful, and linguini had the perfect texture, and the prawns were really fresh and tasty, and theres plenty of scallops. Must get. We also recommend the pork belly, truffle fries, shrimp empanadas, and the veal shank. Veal shank is fairly large portion so be prepared. Do not recommend the sea bass. Could be our taste, but it's really salty and not very tender. The sauce was also kinda weird. We also don't like the complementary croissant, not sure if it's the salt or something. Breakfast: interestingly the morning pastry croissant was really good :) steak and eggs is a safe choice; egg benedict and salmon bagels were also pretty good. Service was superb, waiters can speak English adequately, and the view was unbeatable. It's worth having dinner here just for the view. Period. read more

Great little restaurant on the edge of the beach. We had cabana service from this restaurant and service was great. The food took a little long to get but we had 4 rolls and 2 poke bowls. It was a kit 50 minutes before the food arrived. The beer came out quick. The Bruce Lee rolls were surprising good with mango on top. Stayed at the Corazon Cabo so of course we had to try this restaurant as it was at the resort. The service was good and we didn't have a reservation but that wasn't a problem. We had the truffle fries and artichoke dip. The artichoke dip was different as it was thicker than what I am used to in the states but still had good flavor. You can never go wrong with truffle fries so those were good as well. For my entree I had the crusted sea bass which was served with the best tasting risotto I've ever had. Aleta was pretty good! We weren't planning on eating here but this was the only thing open in the area when we got to this area. We left a little late for dinner this particular night. Once we got to the area you either had to have reservations or no one was allowing seating but Aleta. Aletas menu wasn't exactly what we were looking for but hey it did at 9:20 pm. We walked up and asked could we dine and they said yes. We were seated and served water and a menu. The staff was nice and accommodating. I ordered a side salad, grilled fish tacos and truffle fries. My friend ordered the chicken nachos. Honestly, everything was pretty tasty. Some items were better than others, but nothing was bad. The tacos were ok and had a good flavor, but I've had better tacos. The side salad was good and the truffle fries were delish! I really enjoy truffle fries. Now the best thing was the chicken nachos! They were sooo good and the bomb dot com! They were loaded and the cheese that they put on them was amazing and added so much flavor along with all the other ingredients. Overall, Aleta was good! stayed at the Corazon Cabo which is where this restaurant is located along Medano Beach. We visited three times and each for a different reason. First time: Dessert and drinks. Everyone was super accommodating and the desserts and drinks were excellent. A bit pricey but we didn't really mind because of the location. We had the churros and ice cream along with the pineapple cheesecake. We'd have given 5 stars after this visit. Second visit: Breakfast. We thought our breakfast was very good, again a bit pricey and this time service was significantly slower. Standard offerings but the view and people watching made up for everything else. We'd have given 4 stars after this visit. Third and final visit: Dinner. Let me begin by saying had this been our first visit we would not have gone back. Service was beyond slow (and we don't mind taking our time and relaxing while in Mexico). We sat down at 7pm and we were having to try and find our waiter to pay our bill around 10:00pm and we didn't even do dessert or after dinner drinks. The dishes were just ok and definitely not worth the $300 that was the bill. We've had much nicer and better for less in town or at other locations. The restaurant was only about a 1/3 full which should have been a sign for a Friday night. We ordered edamame, seafood chowder and a shrimp pasta dish. This visit would have been 2 stars. read more

Skip this place if you can. My family of 7 guest and I were staying at the Cabo Villas Resort. We arrived to Aleta to catch sushi for lunch. we shared a sushi boat amongst other appetizers. The food was really good, unfortunately, it took them over an hour to deliver the food. After about 45 minutes, we asked the server if our food was coming, and although they did not admit to it, it appears they forgot our order. The food was magical and you cannot beat the prices in Cabo; very reasonable for such talent and quality. Tonight, we dined at sunset beachside and enjoyed many cocktails before our delicious dinner. Ribeye with a delicate brown gray, roasted prawns, mashed potatoes and vegetables was mouthwatering and seasoned to perfection. However, hubs roasted yellowtail, caught today, with mango/habanero salsa, Parmesan risotto, and vegetables got my attention as well. By far, the best risotto ever! Next.... desert. OMG! Perfectly concocted churros with chocolate sauce and fried lemon panna cotta with a reduction of berry sauce. During my stay in Cabo i really wanted seafood, I'm glad we stopped here. Everything was amazing from the service as soon as we walked in until we left. The waiter checked on us multiple times and made sure we were satisfied. The view is also the best part, it's right off the beach. I wish had pictures of my food, i got sushi and grilled fish tacos, it was all sooo perfect. They also has a 2X1 deal on drinks during happy hour, i chose the mimosa. Our server Efren was so fabulous and gave us the BEST recommendations! He had suggested we try a ceviche if some sort with a yellow sauce and it was to die for! Unfortunately we didn't take a picture of the menu and I don't remember what it was called! Amazing five star meal!! This is a beautiful restaurant with an insanely gorgeous view of the ocean no matter where you are seated. They have a deal where if you go on a fishing trip in Cabo and bring back the fish they will cook it for you for $12 each. This is an incredible deal because the restaurant is definitely fancier than most around it. They have their own really great fresh catches too if you're not a fisherman but like to eat it! We brought them some red snapper and white fish we caught and then made reservations that night and were given options on how we would like our fish cooked. We were able to have three courses! We chose ceviche, spicy sushi rolls, and blackened fish with grilled vegetables on the side. Each course was equally as delicious and we left totally impressed and full.
