The honey is so good, and the pick up was super easy. Ordered online and then picked up my order the next day. Happy to have found them.

Great quality and varieties of honey! I love putting it in my tea or using it as a spread on my toast. The raspberry honey is a must try!

The light pours in softly, the pastries somehow always taste nostalgic, and everything carries that rare feeling of being made with actual care. It's one of those spaces where time slows down a little: parents lingering over coffee, friends catching up over tartines, someone quietly reading in the corner while the smell of fresh bread fills the room. The food is consistently beautiful -- comforting without being heavy, thoughtful without trying too hard. You can feel the intention behind the ingredients and the atmosphere alike. It has the warmth of an old California café that's become part of people's routines and memories over the years. The only thing that occasionally breaks the spell is the service. While never outright rude, the staff can sometimes feel moody, curt, or disconnected, which stands out against how welcoming the space itself wants to feel. A little more warmth, attentiveness, or better communication skills would go a long way in making the experience match the heart of the café itself. Still, even with that inconsistency, Little Flower remains one of those places you keep coming back to -- not just for the food, but for the feeling.

The street where the market is located is adjacent to a park where lots of kids are playing. There are a few picnic tables but we weren't lucky enough to get one. I think there was maybe 20 vendors or less with some as food and a couple specialty item stores. I was expecting a more but we went away with a couple of items and tried some delicious things. Here's what I got: Calamaki - Rockfish Ceviche - 5 oz for $10 - the fish was from Santa Barbara and was mixed with tomatoes, capers, onions, etc. It was a really refreshing ceviche. We ate it on the spot because we were hungry and it was a tad frozen but still yummy! Focaccia Bread - $4, I don't remember the stall name bit the bread was quite yummy and airy! Tacos Casa - Amigos Platter $15 - The tacos were delicious! The al pastor was especially delicious. The mulitas were also yummy adding that gooey cheese. The sopes were a miss for me - hard to eat and not super flavorful. Even with ordering this, it says chips, guac, and beans are included but we did not get that and were too far to go back already. We did get some organic lettuce and these cute little squashes! Perfect for lettuce wraps and sauteed veggies. Both costs about $4. It's a cute farmer's market and hope in the future there's more variety and vendors! It's a nice stop for a Wednesday afternoon.

Produce sellers were there too. I went to buy rare avocados from King and King ranch.

If you like cooking or experimenting, this place is a gem. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful--approachable without hovering, knowledgeable without being pushy. You get the sense they actually enjoy talking shop and helping people find what they need. If I had to split hairs, the POS system feels a bit dated, and having one more register open during busy moments would smooth things out. Nothing that ruins the experience, just small operational stuff. Overall, still an easy 4.5-star experience and a place I'm always happy to come back to.

I finally asked where's the tamales, not where's the beef??!! It turns out the tamales were just on the other side of the wall with almost as many veggie options as there were meat choices! I keep saying I'm a vegetarian, but I bought 6 chicken mole, 4 chicken with green sauce, and a bunch of chile cheese, bean and cheese, spinach and cheese! Sooo good with a balanced ratio of masa to filling. They have tamales every Saturday and I think Tuesdays and Thursdays as well. They are only $2.50 each. This will be my go to for feeding a crowd on short notice!
