I gave this Flower shop a chance this Valentines day and was extremely disappointed. I ordered pionese flowers for my wife over the phone 3 weeks ahead of time to make sure of the arrival. The owner took down the wrong phone number so I did not receive a call stating they could not get the burgundy color I requested. I am a very easy going guy and never write bad reviews but this was beyond me. I showed up valentines morning at 830 like I had explained to the owner to pick up the flowers. I waited and waited until 9 am when finally he was there. I told him who I was and he stated he tried to call but I didn't pick up. I asked him what phone number he had and because of the language barrier he mistook a 9 for a 1. No big deal. I told him it was fine and that I will take the pink that he had. My wife was leaving for work and I explained that I needed to just get the flowers and go. The flowers were not even wrapped. He stated " Just give me 5 or 10 minutes to arrange them" I said fine no problem. I waited as he answered the phone and talked to new customers that walked in. It seemed the other customers spoke his language and he treated them with more respect. I am not Armenian so I was not treated the same. Very unfortunate. Finally I jumped and and said to him " I have to go! My wife is leaving for work!' He said just give me two more minutes. So he put these wilted pionese that were probably sitting around for a week in some half ass arrangement and cheap vase. I paid 104.92 over the phone 3 weeks prior. He then came out and said " Ok that will be 85.00" Unbelievable, not only did he treat me with no respect he overcharged me and forgot I already paid. He then had this look in his eye like " oh S@#!. I told him I already paid over the phone with a credit card for the amount of 104.92 and he had nothing to say. I took the flowers and left. Horrible business, horrible salesmanship!!! I will never be back and beware if you have an important event. If you are not High on his list you will be treated like a number. I have had better service from 1800 flowers. read more

I absolutely love this place! I used them for my engagement party and they did an amazing job. The centerpiece I wanted was a rose and hydrangea arrangement and they created it exactly how I envisioned... ok fine, maybe even a little better than I envisioned! :) I also bought little chocolate party favors to pass out to all of my guests. They made little chocolates that were wrapped in the shape of a flower. Those were a big hit! It's so nice to come across little family-run places that do such a professional job... I was saddened to see this place on doordash. Warning to all: this flower shop is run by crooks and they will insult you if you say their stargazers have no scent. They argued with me and my family on Valentine's Day my bf paid $90 for a bouquet and the stargazers had no scent at all they insulted us n said our noses can't smell LOL riiight and yet we can smell the stargazers across the grocery store at stater bros. Then she changed her story and said if I want scented flowers then I should walk into a garden, what a rude lady this was all on my Valentine's Day on our way to dinner! Stargazers are the most heavily scented flower so strong anyone can notice it but the ones they sell at high luxury prices have no scent at all! They sell old flowers hanging on a thread for their lives in refrigerators they remove the pollen too signaling it's old to make them last longer there were no fresh flowers nor buds. Save yourself the headache and go to stater bros or Altadena florist whom we discovered their roses and flowers have SCENT and that's proof LARVINE florist are rude lying crooks. They did not refund my bf so my dad had to step in and was kind enough to offer these crooks more money to accept to give me n my bf a partial refund!!! I will be happy when they close down and I see a reputable place take its spot I'll never forget the valentines that they ruined for me. I cringe every time I pass by. Now my boyfriend gets my flowers from Altadena florist because they are legit roses with scent! AVOID LARVINE LIKE THE PLAGUE even the name sounds like larvae of parasite to suck your money. Uh-oh. What flower shop is open late? L'arvine Flowers & Chocolatier to the rescue! The emergency corsage was ready in 5 minutes, and it was gorgeous! The girl posted pictures of the corsage all over her social media accounts. I guarantee that she had far fresher flowers than the day-old corsages ordered from the flower shops that closed early. Great customer service and beautiful flowers in a pinch. Still, next time, I'd recommend ordering your corsage from L'arvine a bit earlier, even if you can pick it up on the way to the dance. read more

I thought I was being a very difficult bride but the owner Maral and her daughter were so accommodating and patient in order to make me happy. The centerpiece floral arrangements were more beautiful than I imagined! The chocolate favors were so unique and pretty and the taste like no other chocolate i have had. Went here today to get my wife some flowers cuz she had a bad day at work. I had a very negative experience here. I walked in a little after 7 and looked at the flower arrangements. What few arrangements he had were way over Priced and not pieced together very nice. After I Fayed interest in the arrangement the old guy there was over it and about to walk away, great customer service. Anyway I just asked for a dozen white roses and he gathered them and him and some lady started putting it together. I'm hanging out for 5-10 mins and tell them I'm going to the chase atm to get cash out. The old man said " no no I'm leaving right now. I'm like I'm getting cash out its right up the street and he said I'll just charge your card. They said sorry we just have to go somewhere, I'm like dude your business closed at 7:30 I'm sorry you have something to do but I don't work around schedule. They placed the dozen roses in a green tarp looking material tied it with the green twine looking bow and didn't even cut all the thorns out. I don't give shit if you have somewhere to go. You should have told me your closed already and not taken my money in exchange for your Half ass work. And you all seemed pretty bored and unoccupied but within the 5 mins I'm there you suddenly have to leave? Should have expected it when I saw the other reviews. This place is obviously biased to certain PEOPLE. Maybe that's why they didn't care to help me or try to scam me with over piece arrangements. I had called to get a couple of tulips arranged for my mother and when i was handed the arrangement three of the flowers were already wilted and price wasn't cheap but I felt bad so I paid and left with the flowers. The next day the same three flowers had completely died and the petals had fallen off. I had wasted my money. I don't think I would come here for flowers anymore. read more

I walked in to get a simple bouquet, Maral (the lady) greeted with the worst attitude. Her first question was 'whats your budget' then she offered to put a dozen roses together into a small arrangement. Then i asked for the roses to look fresh since the ones in the fridge looked about dead. She opened the fridge (with attitude) asked me to touch the roses and feel how fresh they are, when i showed her the wrinkles pedals she said 'go get your flowers from somewhere else' and directed me to the door. Ive never seen someone so rude and unhappy with life. Instead of greeting with a smile and giving the best service she can, she said 'i don't want customers like you, i rather loose you'.
