Girlfriend and I were on our way back home from Tulare when we were craving a burger. Saw how easily accessible this location was from the 99 and decided to give it a try. I got the Texas bacon cheeseburger and she got the regular bacon cheeseburger with fries, onion rings and a root beer freeze. Not only were the burgers and sides flavorful, but the root beer freeze hit the spot on a hot July day. Girlfriend is pretty picky when it comes to fries, but she enjoyed theirs. 12-6-17. First time at Buzz's. Went about 3:00 pm (off hour). Ordered 2 pastrami sandwiches, 2 cokes and 2 fries. All were so good. We could not stop eating the fries. The sandwiches and fries were hot and fresh. Very inexpensive. It was cool out, so we stayed in the car and ate. They had a bunch of picnic tables you could sit and eat outside. No indoor seating that we could see, Buzz's is very small. The lady who took our order was very pleasant. The whole time we were there, there were customers coming in to order something. This place is a gem. If you haven't tried Buzzes Drive in then you don't know what you are missing! Your taste buzz will explode when you eat one of there many burgers to choose from. The only thing they had to offer people who don't eat meat (I'm a Pegaterian) and only seafood it's a limited to 2 things. Shrimp and fish. Maybe you could add fried Oysters? The batter is great not over cooked and had a sweet flavor taste which brought out the Fish and Chips. Also they have a few things that I knew as southern comfort food Fried Okra and Fried Mushrooms. Unfortunately, the patties come frozen and so do many others. They also use the same friers oil for everything so you kinda get the same taste for all the fried food but the hamburgers and fish and chips made up for it. It's very good! "The Best Burgers in the Valley!" This phrase had me turn my head at a breakneck pace while driving in Goshen. If it wasn't for that, I surely would've gravitated here anyway due to the bright yellow, residential looking house where these burgers are served. ----The Food---- Double Bacon Cheeseburger ($3.79)- At first glance, the burger seemed pathetic with it's two patties that looked thin, flimsy, and dry. The sesame buns were of poor quality and seemed to lack a good foundation for the condiments as well. But wow, as soon as I bit into the burger, it all changed and I immediately became a fan. They not only provided smoked bacon, but also thick sliced, dry rubbed bacon too. It was meaty heaven and really made up for the frail patties. As bad as the patties looked, it had a charbroiled taste that went well with the double amount of bacon--and it wasn't too dry because of the homemade thousand island sauce. Lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and cheese were all fresh and completed what was a great burger. Cheese Sticks ($3.99 for 6)- Buzz's has one of the better mozzarella cheese sticks I've eaten in a long time. I knew there was a reason why they were so expensive! The cheese isn't stretchy and gooey, but the taste of the batter and cheese are special. The batter has seasoning that's similar to Cajun flavored fries and is nothing short of addicting. 6 pieces just might not be enough. ---- Conclusion: In this area, there are only vast fields of farmland so Buzz's Drive-In sticks out like a sore thumb. If any Yelpers are driving on the 99 highway, I encourage you to make a stop and experience Buzz's for yourself. I'd just recommend to eat in your car, because in Goshen/Visalia, the smell of cow dung is mighty strong...you may not want to munch on anything with those fumes in the air. However, I assure you--by meal's end, you'll find a great appreciation for this spot that not only serves burgers, but hot dogs, pastrami, tacos, burritos, chicken strips, and shakes too. I called in an order on my way back from work...A double bacon cheese burger and order of Mozz sticks. The burger was just okay, 2 thin patties that were not that juicy on a sesame seed bun. The bacon and bbq sauce was good. Actually, the fried cheese sticks were very good, reminds me of the Visalia bowling alley cheese sticks. Service was nice from the window, there are plenty of seats to sit down if you were staying to eat your food. Price was decent, especially if you got a combo, which I did not. Today was my first time trying this place 8-6-15. Finally I found a good Pastrami Sandwich in the Visalia area. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, so I can't rate them higher. My meat was grilled just right, my bread could have been a little more toasted but overall it was good. Two of my friends had the Pastrami Burger and they said it was delicious. Service wasn't too bad, a little slow but worth the wait. If you're in a rush you're better off calling in your order. The outside could be a little more cleaner. I'll definitely be back. read more

This place is really good, it's a cute little walk up style eatery. I got the pastrami burger which was super good. We also got onion rings, and they were so good. The batter was nice and thick, and when you took a bite you could actually bite through the onion, instead of pulling it out in one bite. I would definitely stop here again. read more

This place is the go to place if you want a great tasting, mouth watering, juicy Hamburger then this is the place! Not only do they have a small selection of seafood (I only eat fish only Pegaterian)  but there's Shrimp and Fish sandwich.  They also have some southern dishes such as Fried Okra and Fried Mushrooms. The batter they use is so good and buttery it's make the okra even better! This time I wanted to order the Fish and Chips. Buzz's Drive In is a quick drive from work and I'll come here every couple months. Today I received the wrong order but realized it when I got back. To lazy to go back, I ate the chicken burger and like all of their food it was delicious. The burger isn't too greasy like most burgers and stays together while eating. The fries are always crispy and the ice in the drinks are the best. I called Buzz's when I realized I received the wrong order and the lady was very apologetic. Oh I have to give this stop 5 stars. So so so much better than stopping at a fast food chain. Five stars for easy on off to freeway. Yelped at the last minute and so glad we decided to give it a try. Five stars for super clean bathroom. 10 stars for excellent customer service and just all around nice people. 5 stars for delicious burgers and onion rings!! The kind girl that took our order suggested a double burger. We had 4 hrs to drive so I went with the single burger for my husband and I. The burgers are served on a super large delicious seeded bun so they are flatter due to the bun size than I thought. Next time would order a double for myself and a triple for the hubby. It's big enough that a double would be plenty to share if you weren't famished. A wonderful wonderful stop. Just so you know they only have outside seating. Some people were eating in their cars.
