They sell Milk & Honey which has been very hard to find. The cashiers were also super friendly!

Daylene's still was being built when we were researching so we came upon this place. Reviews good, ambiance looked great so we made a reservation months in advance for 7/4/26. I had called the establishment in advance and spoke to the manager because I wanted to surprise hubby and pay for the bill. Last year, our anniversary ended on a bad note because I got sick in Miami and had to go to the hospital. We get there and are seated. It was a full house! It was loud in there and mostly everyone there was dressed casual except us. We were dressed up in a cocktail dress and suit because it was our anniversary. Lucky was our server and he was attentive and nice. We started out with drinks. I had the strawberry shortcake which I was excited about but ended up being disappointed - the majority of the drink was whipped cream. The liqueur used didn't make it seem like a fresh strawberry taste, tasted fake - for $17 it should of been better. I then ordered the clam chowder. They have two sizes $6 and $10. I was not asked which size I wanted and when they brought it out, it was this big bowl which I find out later was the $10 size (I should of been asked which size, not cool)! I had to send it back because it wasn't hot. I took most of it home, it was good especially heating it up the next day, the flavors really settled in. The food was brought out quickly - even before the clam chowder was brought back. I had the twin lobster tails (market price, $76) and hubby had the ribeye steak ($59) with the mushrooms and onions which is an $5 upcharge but that wasn't explained to him when ordering. My side was the garlic mashed potatoes and his was the creamed spinach. One of the lobster tails was too salty - they put way too much seasoning on the top of the tails. The other lobster tail was better. The potatoes were meh. I'm not really a creamed spinach fan but theirs was really good - the cream sauce was very flavorful. Hubby enjoyed his steak and had enough to take home. They brought out a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. It looked nice. We didn't enjoy the dessert but they acknowledged our anniversary so we were appreciative of that. When it was time for the bill, Lucky just laid it in my lap with no explanation. Hubby was confused. That wasn't the agreement I had with the manager. The bill was supposed to be put on the table and us being told that the bill has been taken care of. So I had to explain to hubby what was going on. A bit disappointing. Lucky told us a fireworks show was behind the restaurant so we stayed to enjoy that. I wouldn't recommend this to couples who want to get dressed up for a night out. I guess because it's a water park environment, people don't feel the need to have to get dressed up for a fine dining experience. Overall, it was okay. Thanks Double Cut Steakhouse.

Stopped by Monk's Bar & Grill for a late lunch in the Dells and so glad we did!…read more Located right on Broadway in the heart of the Wisconsin Dells, Monk's serves up pub grub in a comfortable bar setting. When you walk in, you're immediately met with the bar. They do have additional seating but you have to make your way past the bar to find it. We decided to sit at the bar and were happy for the low key atmosphere while we enjoyed a cocktail and some lunch. For my cocktail, I ordered a Manhattan which was decently made. For my lunch, I got the bbq chicken wrap, which was great. I got fries on the side which were also crispy and delicious. The kitchen is adjacent to and can be seen from our perch at the bar, which was nice to see our food being prepared. All in all, this is a great casual spot for a beverage and a bite on any trip to the Dells. Get to it!

Just be ready to squeeze in The decor is the first thing you notice. The walls and ceiling are practically plastered with local apparel, and for whatever reason, there's a heavy monkey theme going on with all the gear. It gives the place a great, unpretentious, classic Wisconsin dive bar vibe. The menu keeps it simple: standard, no-nonsense bar food. We're talking burgers, baskets, and fried sides. Service was surprisingly snappy given that it was shoulder-to-shoulder at the bar. If you want a quiet, intimate dinner, this isn't it. But if you want cold drinks, killer curds, and a vibrant crowd, it's easily a solid four-star stop on the strip. I'd definitely grab a beer here again. the burgers claimed that they were world famous but topping your burgers is a little strange, they charge 25 cents for tomatoes and lettuce
