    Filet Mignon (6 oz)

I made a reservation for a Tuesday night at 5:45 PM. Julian was our server and was amazing ! Very attentive. I ordered the lobster bisque which had so much lobster in it. I ordered the 6 oz filet (medium) which was charred on the outside and melted in my mouth. My husband had the boneless ribeye - very little fat and one of his top 5 all time best steaks. I had the spicy margarita which was so good. They had a lot of dessert options but we didn't order any. The place was dimly lit so it was a very romantic date night. The reason for my 4/5 stars is that a margarita in a small bar glass should not be $15. Our total bill for 2 lobster bisques, 1 6 oz filet, 1 16 oz ribeye, a beer, and a margarita was $172. I feel like we ordered should not have been that expensive, but I guess it because of the dells.

We came to Del-Bar for happy hour with a group of five and planned to have apps and dinner. But the appetizers were so good that we ended up ordering more apps and skipping dinner entirely. The ambiance was classic, old-school glamorous 1950s decor that feels timeless, elegant, and fun. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. Here's how we'd prioritize what we ordered: Seared Sea Scallops (100/5) - OMG. I'm still dreaming about this dish. Perfectly seared scallops in the most incredible garlic broth, roasted with sweet corn, mushrooms, and bacon. Absolute perfection and a must-order. Sassy Cow Cheese Curds (5/5) - It's Wisconsin, after all. Crispy, cheesy, and an impressively large portion. Oysters on the Half Shell (5/5) - Fresh, clean, and delicious. Crispy Calamari (4/5) - Fresh and well executed. Steamed Potstickers (4/5) - Perfectly seared with a decent, flavorful sauce. Sweet Potato Fries (4/5) - Served hot and crispy, exactly how they should be. Tempura Asparagus (3/5) - It's deep fried, but still asparagus. Buffalo Chicken Wings (3/5) - Solid and standard. Sashimi Tuna (2/5) - Fine, but paled in comparison to the standout apps. To top it all off, the Aperol Spritz and lattes were equally yummy and rounded out the experience perfectly. Del-Bar happy hour is a win, especially if you're appetizer lovers like us. We'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area!

We had exceptional service in the bar before dinner thanks to Bryana. The escargot was phenomenal-the best we have ever had. The crab she suggested was also delicious. The espresso martini and French 75 were also excellent. The glasses of champagne they brought over because we were celebrating our anniversary were unexpected and a very nice touch. We had the petite filet and the chef's specialty ribeye. They were both excellent and cooked perfectly. The server recommended the mashed potatoes, and it was a great rec. They were amazing! The salad was over dressed, but the homemade dressings were delicious. Next time I will order my dressing on the side. The crème brûlée was also good. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the holidays and the overall supper club vibe is spot on. Definitely our favorite restaurant in town.

Andrew, bartender, made one of the best lemon drops I've ever had. My favorite is truly just sitting in the bar and having appetizers. In my opinion, the Tuna Tartar is phenomenal and the best value in the restaurant. The Shrimp Cocktail is also first rate. The Scallop appetizer is really good, and a little different than I am used to ... very good preparation in an extremely tasty sauce, so a little different than the normal pan seared or garlic scallop. I will always get the first two, but will have to be in the right mood for the third. One diner had the short rib, Bolognese, and said it was phenomenal. It was extremely flavorful, though another diner at the bar mentioned that they like it spicier.

We always enjoying going here when we visit the Dells. It's a staple! Great food, service, drinks, and ambiance. We highly recommend it if you're in the Dells and looking for a great traditional supper club. Everything is great from the meatball apps to the lobster bisque to the cheesecake! Make sure to make reservations as they're always busy!

Excellent!!! Excellent!!! Excellent! 10 Stars. Absolutely everything was perfection at the Del Bar. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was impeccable, the food was top-notch. The decor had a mid century vibe with dim, romantic, lighting. We came here for my birthday and it did not disappoint. The staff is kind and attentive. Every bite of food was delicious. I have not one negative thing to say and it was worth every penny. Whenever you're in the Wisconsin Dells, this place is a MUST!!!! Every local we met stated "GO TO THE DEL-BAR; IT'S THE BEST"! They didn't lie. It truly is one of the best restaurants I've had the privilege of dining at.

This place had an impeccable reputation for a reason. I HIGHLY recommend if you're looking for a date night spot. The dirty martini was fabulous. The French onion soup is a must. It's a multi-day process to create this masterpiece! The cheese spread was also an amazing add on. (Pro Tip: It's not on the menu but you can still request it) Our main dishes were so good I forgot to snap a picture. Be sure to finish your meal with a dessert and salted caramel espresso martini. A truly perfect meal with above average service!

The happy hour makes me so happy. Loved Del Bar's happy hour! Awesome food deals, great drinks, and such a cool old-school supper-club vibe. The sliders and stuffed mushrooms were my favorite. Service was on point too. Definitely coming back!

We love Delbar so much. We did it Friday and Saturday night. I was really hoping to get the prime rib Saturday, but they sold out. I went with the scallops and I was not disappointed. Everything was delicious. Service was phenomenal. It's a magical place perfect for a date night or two.

The Del-bar offers a true touch of class and sophistication amongst the water parks and tourist traps of the dells. Built by Frank Lloyd Wright's apprentice, the interior offers the perfect escape for those less than impressed by current interior design trends in the area. No grey flooring found here folks! Go on Saturday. Order a Grass Hopper, oysters Rockefeller, and the Prime Rib with a potato side of your choice, of course.

Excellent steaks and the best service. The ambience fits the decor of the upscale restaurant. Oneof the best restaurants in the Dells area.

I know it is upscale. Is jacket and tie required? I am from out of state and will be visiting in September.

Yelp and google gave it pretty decent reviews, so we stopped in. One thing that was cool was last night the patio was reserved for only those who had dogs. It would have been neat to know that ahead of time and we could have brought our dog. Not sure if that's a daily thing or special for Saturday nights. The inside was cool, you can see the historic charm in this place. We got immediate seating, which was really nice. We were told multiple times the kitchen was backed up and we would have to wait about 45 minutes for our food. That was fine. We figured if we ordered an appetizer to go with dinner it would come out earlier. Our friends appetizers came out nearly an hour later. My husband and I each ordered a cup of the French onion soup and we got it 30 minutes after our friends got theirs. Our main courses came out shortly after that. Two of us ordered the chicken masala, one ordered a steak, and I ordered the salmon. All of our food was amazing. My husband said hands down the best meal in a restaurant in 2026. It would have been nice if the restaurant offered us a free dessert or round of drinks for the extremely long wait. Honestly I was about to ask if they even started making our meals when the soups finally came out, because if they hadn't I'd have said forget it. If I'm being honest, I'd have rated our experience lower, because that wait time was awful. But the food was delicious and this surely can't be something that happens regularly, because if it was, this place would have way less 5 star reviews. If I'm in the area again I'd give this place another shot, and hopefully our wait time is much shorter and the food is just as good.

Yes, the wine is obviously good too with a selection for all preferences. I've been here a few times now, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. I cannot get over how good their food is! I've now tried every single flatbread on their menu, and they're all outstanding! Even their steak gorgonzola flatbread is incredible and I don't like steak! They also have the best spinach artichoke dip I've ever tasted, and they're served with these delightful warm pieces of pita bread... I'm pretty sure this stuff came right out of an oven. On my most recent visit, I actually ended up getting an Old Fashioned and my dining mate got a cosmo. Both were absolutely fantastic. The bartender even came over and said the last bit of the cosmo he made tasted like it was heavy on the lime and he offered to re-make it... I'd call that service to the hilt! There was no need to re-make the cosmo, however, as we both found it to be delicious. The bar also has some really great high end liquors and craft beer options. They also have NA options. So, while it is a fun wine bar where you get to self-service pour your own wine, don't let the name fool you -- this place has something for everyone. I've also come here with a friend who has a gluten allergy and they have gluten free bread for their delicious flatbreads. Overall this place is great for an intimate night out or a night out with the girls. They have plenty of seating and an upstairs area with games and such as well. There's an outdoor patio as well for when the weather cooperates. I cannot recommend this place enough!
