Not to mention the job was not completed and no other company wanted to touch their giant mistake. The real kicker is when we called them about our soggy ceiling sink the disaster pan was overfilling they denied any water damage( I have this phone call recorded) it took three years of fighting with the home reality company CINCH (also goes by sears home warranty) who assigned us to General Heating and AC. Cinch is another huge problem assigning work to companies that are not competent at the job, after fighting with them for many summers they only agreed to pay for half of the very costly reinstall of the unit! Our home owners insurance went up due to this, we had no AC for three summers. General heatings team of Cheryl and Zac are extremely unprofessional. Zac admitted this was only the second high velocity unit he had installed which showed some there was a plethora of things done wrong. This company has caused me endless headaches, hours on the phone, and thousands of dollars down the hole, if you are assigned to them from a home warranty company for the love of God request to be placed with a different company! Finally getting this review out since we can finally say we have working AC due to the wonderful company Binder Heating and AC. I don't know how to stress this enough especially if you have a high velocity unit so not book this company!

We received a referral from Structure Tech inspection firm to contact Tom with ENVIROWORLD USA, turning out to be an absolute blessing for our family. Our home was impacted by the Weyerhaeuser toxic floor joists in a newly constructed home that required us to stay in a hotel for over four months due to formaldehyde levels making the home uninhabitable. The basement required complete renovation of the basement joists to fix the product omitting lethal levels of formaldehyde. Once completed, our basement was 15-20F degree difference from the other levels on the home, Air Exchanger problems, HRV core missing, subcontractors not responding to our phone calls feeling hopeless with no-responses from our builder and suppliers who created the problem. Additionally, the formaldehyde was "fixed", but my four-year-old daughter continued to battle with respiratory and otolaryngology issues daily, inner ear infections/ongoing sinus drainage due to bad air quality in our home. Called them on a Friday at 7 at night expecting to leave a message but the owner, Tom, was available and answered. Told him the issue and he took the time to talk with me and understood my concern. When he looked at the mini split unit, he diagnosed the Freon was low. The unit was installed in May and he said there was no way that it should have been gone by now. Thought that the company, who apparently has good reviews, put in a small amount to begin with. That company suggested that a part was the issue and that it would take hours to fix. It's hard to find honest contractors but feel Tom has the owners best interest at heart and will use them again.
