We were sat upstairs near the window and it was nice and quiet there. Everything we ordered was delicious and we enjoyed our time here. Scone with cream and jam. I ordered plain scone. It was delicious. Warm fresh scone served with yummy cream and jam. I also ordered the chocolate cake tea with the scone and it was surprisingly good. Had some chocolate flavor and tasted good with milk. Hubby ordered Mac and cheese and it was served piping hot with a slice of garlic bread. Pretty good too! Kiddo ordered hot chocolate with marshmallows and a chocolate cake. The cake itself was soft and moist and not overly sweet. Went well with the tea and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate seemed standard and she seemed to like it. The place is not overly pricey for a touristy place. Service was also good and friendly.

Everything was amazing. The bread tasted homemade, the scones were fresh out of the oven and the cake was delicious. We were able to choose from a good selection of teas. The ones we picked were very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also offer a full range of other items from the kitchen for breakfast through dinner. I would definitely recommend trying Lucy's when you're in the Cotswolds.

Inside there is a great atmosphere with log burners and other decorations and it's not too loud. The service was great. After we ordered the food did take a while to get to us but it was worth the wait, the best chips I've ever had. Would highly recommend!

We stopped in here for dinner and good thing we got here early as they filled up quickly. I suggest you make a reservation for dinner. Large parking lot with lots of space, which can sometimes be a challenge to find. The bar man (whose name I have forgotten) was amazing. He was taking orders, filling drinks, seating people, being a cashier, and just generally everywhere at once. He had a couple of girls helping him, but this place could not run without him. There is seating both inside and on a back patio. We opted for inside, because it was still sunny and quite warm outside. Quickly after ordering, bread and oil was dropped off. The bread was delicious and the oil and balsamic vinegar was yummy. The fish and chips were very good. My husband enjoyed his pork and it's a good thing he likes peas (see the photo). Overall the food was pretty good. I was impressed with The Northey Arms. Service was extremely good with how busy the place was. The restaurant was large and the food was good. The barman was friendly and I would absolutely eat here again.
