This was a sweet first stop after the first leg of our six day walking trip along the Cotswold Way. We were looking for a classic tea and scone experience and Lucy's hit the spot with their delicious tea menu (enjoyed the chocolate cake tea) and both fruited and non fruited scones to accompany clotted cream. They also offer a breakfast and lunch menu if you're looking for something more substantial. You really can't beat their outdoor seating in the back courtyard - it's both cozy and covered for the frequent rainy days. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and based on how bustling it was, it seems that we weren't the only fans in town.

I heard about Lucy's from a YouTube video and I had my mind made up to try this on our trip. I am so glad I did! Lucy's is a little gem. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, the staff is super friendly, and the food was delicious! My son got an omelette and he said it was delicious. My husband and I got afternoon tea for two. The scones were the best I have ever eaten. The tea was also delicious and they have a huge selection to choose from. I bought some of the tea to take home. I wish this special place was in my home town.

This place is so charming with the friendliest staff. We had the tea service and the scones were the best scones I've ever had. We had several scones during our trip across the UK and nothing compared to Lucy's! Im serious! However the sandwhiches were not great. The bread was dry and pretty bland and flavorless overall. The cakes were delicious! I would recommend just ordering tea and scones, and any cakes that look good to you.

The best scones I've ever had! Even made my husband a believer! Shop is very cute and welcoming. The tea was wonderful, and I'll be thinking of this place for a while now :)

We were on a day tour through the Cotswolds, and had only about an hour to stop and eat somewhere. There were so many options but this cute quaint place was screaming our name so of course we went here. The service was so great, you can tell this is all family ran and the inside decor was so cute. I ordered the brie bacon sandwich and my mom got the cheese and tomatoes. They were both delicious, as well as the side salads!? And the tea omg, it was exactly what we needed. If you have time to stop, because the service was perfectly timed, I would go here!!!

Stow Special Afternoon Tea for 2 (egg & cress and tuna & cucumber sandwiches, scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, and fresh cakes)

A favorite place for my husband and I to have hot tea, finger sandwiches, cake, and a scone with cream.

What an awesome tea room! Literally on the Thames!…read more 7 of us booked a table for brunch and were not disappointed! This is quite a big barge and seats about 20 people comfortably, offering a great range of cream teas, sandwiches, breakfasts and drinks. A little quaint, traditional barge tea shop. The cups and saucers are just fabulous and the coffee mugs are varied - all adding to the variety and experience of this wonderful place. The tea is served in leaf form so you have your own strainer, which is really cool! I opted for a full breakfast today which was just right! Unfortunately they had ran out of bacon but I got an extra sausage for that! Locally sourced food which was cooked perfectly from the kitchen you can see at the end of the barge. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, offering their advice and explaining the food options as well. The service was excellent and relaxed. The most important part of finishing the meal is the separation of the bill, especially in a group. However they offered to spilt this and each of us pay separately, this worked great! Overall, this is place is highly recommended for anytime of the day, relaxing on the Thames, in wonderful surroundings, watching the swans swim by.

Oh I did enjoy my High Tea - cucumber sandwich(it was thick white bread with the crusts left on - perfect for a hungry girl!) and my home-made plain scone served with clotted cream and jam. A generous pot of English breakfast tea with plenty of flavour was a natural accompaniment. Had I desired home baked cakes or a lunch I don't doubt I would have been just as impressed. My beady eye spotted the cakes under their glass domes; but my tea had been so substantial I will just have to wait until my next visit to give them a try. I will return because as well as the great food it was value for money. There was friendly service and some nice objects for sale. There were paperbags filled with old fashioned sweeties, lots of handmade crafts and a little glass and wooden case filled with affordable and quirky vintage costume jewellery. You could enjoy your tea and then go shopping for the kind of things you usually have to hunt hard to find! Combine this with the lovely garden to enjoy in the warm weather and the proximity to the riverside walk and Kelmscot and the National Trust's Buscot Park and you could have a great day out. If you find yourself if the area do call in too. You will be pleased that you did.
