However, they refused to order a new lens because it had been a little over a year since his eye exam. He had contacted them a couple months ago to get a new lens put in. They sent him a payment option but he forgot about it and did not order the new lens at that time. He didn't need a new eye exam because he has 20/20 and just needs reader lenses. Anyway they are losing his business, my business and the business of our kids.

My son was being extremely distracting…read moreand I asked him to sit down because I had other things to do today and as soon as that left my mouth the lady fitting us for our glasses told my son it was okay that he stayed and stood by her which again distracted her even more took even longer for the process to be finished she couldn't understand that I was asking for the total today copays and the total today if I paid for the glasses to be ordered and then the full total I don't understand how that was misinterpreted but I'm assuming it was because she underminded my parenting and told my child that he could stand by her and she couldn't listen. Concerning Experience and Pressure for Unnecessary Surgery…read more I had a two‑hour exam here in December 2025, and the experience left me very uneasy. Despite having a large office, there were no ophthalmologists on site. After the exam, I was told I had "severe" nuclear cataracts and needed to have both lenses removed urgently -- before Christmas -- and that I would have to travel to Little Rock because they had no ophthalmologists locally. I was also told LASIK wouldn't work and that the surgery was invasive, which added to the pressure. The urgency they pushed did not feel right, so I requested my records and sought a second opinion. They initially refused to send my records to the ophthalmologist in my own town, and the doctor there had to call them himself to get them. My second exam (also two hours) showed something very different: only mild cataracts that are completely normal for my age, excellent eyesight, and absolutely no need for surgery. The ophthalmologist told me, "If it isn't broken, we're not going to fix it." Based on my experience, I felt pressured toward an unnecessary and invasive procedure. I encourage anyone who receives an alarming diagnosis here to get a second opinion.
