It is pointed out if they smell or are knotted or have bad breath. I would never return. The staff eats on the grooming floor while dogs are being groomed. It's a hostel environment and unsanitary. I've been coming to Bow wow wow for years now and I couldn't be happier! I love the staff that works here. Everyone is extremely polite, caring, and you could tell that they love what they do. Everytime I take my dog here for a full grooming, she comes out looking fantastic. They take such good care of her and always accessorize her with bows, feathers, and bandanas. This place is great because you can sit there and watch them groom your dog. Everything is done right in front of you, not like those other groomers that take your dog to a different room to groom, or those that don't allow you to sit there and wait for your pet. Not only this, this place is cageless, which is very important to me because I would never want my dog to be locked up in a cage! I hestitated to make a review bc it's so bad, but from what we experienced, this place should be shut down. I brought my yorkie puppy for her first hair cut. I just wanted to have her cleaned up. They shaved so close to her skin that she looked like a rat! I was disappointed but that was not the bad part. They asked us to leave her there, but we wanted to watch, since she was a baby. We sat on a bench, in the corner by the register. There was a male groomer with a medium sized dog. The dog was a little hyper, maybe nervous. The groomer kept hitting the dog with the brush and yelling at it to stay still! My daughter and I watched in horror! When my baby was done, I blasted the lady at the register about the male groomer. This groomer deserves zero stars but that is not an option...Made an appointment for my four month old puppy with Angel who came highly recommended...they gave me Vicky ..okay maybe that was a mistake...took her again in the next six weeks, made an appointment with Angel....once again they gave me Vicky...I said I requested Angel, they pondered this and acted like my pup would be sitting there all day waiting for Angel. So Vicky again, no problem, HOWEVER, when I picked her up she was all choppy, looked terrible, had mattes behind her ear and a cut to go along with it!!!! Her feet looked like elf feet!!!! Never ever again would I use them!!!! Worst place ever took my Husky to get groomed and as I picked him up I noticed that it seemed as if they just washed him and no combing out do I phoned Bow wow wow and was told to bring my Dog back a few days later we'll I drop him off and just a few minutes later I was called that my Husky bit the bather. I for one knows that wasn't true, again no combing out and my fog was still wet seems as though they only wet him. But that's not all as I was picking up my dog from them one of the employees in front of the owner told me that the only way I could bring my Husky back is if I have my dog sedated in order for them to groom my dog. Once again, I have been with Bow WoW wow for over 10 years with my Yorkie and 3 years with my Husky and never ever did previous employers Angel and Christina have a problem with grooming my Husky, but now that Angel and Christina are not there, they have rude employees who are so rude and the owner does absolutely nothing. The audacity for them to charge me for my husky's grooming and he wasn't even combed out and then when I go back for them to correct the issue they lie and say my dog bit the groomer. read more

We're in love!!! Just what I asked for... An Angel lol. Falcon's old friend who played with him at his old Doggie day care; is now a groomer!! I asked for a grooming place that would let Falcon visit and get acquainted. Well we just walked in! The owner her mom, and Angel were there. They were so welcoming!! We stayed 2 hours...Angle didn't have a client so we sat and talked ... O my god we hand a high end hair dresser consult. Falcon was a little scared but he recognized Angel after about 15 mins. Falcon relaxed sat, smelled others, and even a few dogs. I think Falcon was busy asking questions about how he would be treated. He as so relaxed he didn't even poop!! (He did at the last place when he walked in the door). The ppl let him come to them and he choose Angel. It was great seeing the groomer sitting with Falcon and Falcon feeling comfortable and sitting on the floor. After a while Angel reached out and touched the tip of Falcons paw. Falcon pulled his paw back a smige. And Angel touched his paw again. Falcon let angel hold his paw this time. Angel talked about how the dog comes first and he was going to help Falcon with his fears. I can even stay and watch Falcon being groomed! Falcon smelled a few more. Dogs as they can and left. This time Falcon went and sat next to Angle and Angle petted him. Another dog.. A white haired maybe a Maltese had her hair done. O gosh she was so fluffy. The white dogs mommy use to use or first groomer, Sue. Her hair (dog) was perfect. Her mommy said it takes 2 hours to hand cut her hair. Did I hear. They didn't use clippers. Awesome. You really cared about Alexis, making sure she was not going to have another seizure. I wish I could express how wonderful you were to Alexis. I had not taken her to be groomed for over three months, because I was afraid she was going to have another seizure and boy was she a mess. You took her and made sure there was as little noise and stress as possible and wrapped her in a blanket after her bath, (she could not use the blower, because of the seizures) and gave me the blanket to take her home in. SCHEDULE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Do not bring your pets here. They are unable to schedule properly and then want to pawn you off on a groomer you did not request. I have been using Bow Wow Wow for at least a year and a half. I bring two dogs and pay $90 every six to eight weeks. I recommended them to my daughter and requested my groomer, Angel. Not once, but twice, when she arrived Angel was too busy to groom my granddog. The first time, they gave the dog to someone else. I spoke to them and they said they would be more careful the next time. At the second appointment Angel was too busy. They asked my daughter if the same groomer as last time could do the grooming. My daughter agreed because she has a full time job and limited time to take the dog to the groomer. When my daughter returned home she showed me her dog. Her hair looked all choppy. Then my daughter noticed a hair in her eye, a matte and a cut behind her ear. When I asked her if Angel did the grooming she said no. I was livid! When I expressed my annoyance to the owner, she said it was just a scheduling error. Once, maybe. NOT TWICE! She was totally unapologetic and said they would fix the grooming. How disrespectful to a loyal customer. I guess didn't come often enough to inspire loyalty. You would think they would be grateful that I brought them another client. When I go to my hair salon and I've made an appointment, they would not dare substitute a different stylist to stand behind my chair. SHAME ON THEM!! They have now lost three fur friends! read more

Bow wow wow is the only place I will ever take my dog for a haircut. They always do a great job grooming my dog and I love that its a cage free place. Great experience. I brought my golden retriever there to get groomed and they did a fantastic job, one of the best haircut/trims my doggie has ever gotten. It's really easy to do a bad job with this type of dog. He had a few problem areas (knots, oily hair) and they fixed him up perfect, trimmed his nails, bathed him. It's also a no cage facility so he had a great time socializing with the other dogs there. Front desk and groomer were very professional and accommodating (I took my dog there on the wrong day, my fault, but they were still able to squeeze him in).
