And now that I've been in the industry for five years now and done some incredible things (I've done two commercials: Garnier Fructis, Jack Link's Beef Jerkey, walked the runway for Chanel, D&G, Heatherette, Perry Ellis, Alexander McQueen and others, and shot layouts for A&F, Levi's, and Giorgio Armani) it's time that I reciprocate what Carlo did for me by giving you some reasons why you should hire him if you're wanting to start a modeling career. 1. He will have With the way most photographers rely on good models to carry a shoot, without soaking in some of what Carlo did in our photo shoots, I would have bombed on some of my early campaigns, and most likely would have been put on my agency's back-burner. 3. As a promotional model in the past, working trade shows, you need to keep an updated portfolio to book gigs. I would shoot with photographers, get a CD lol with 100+ images and hope that 2 or more would work for my portfolio. Most of the time, I could find a few that I really liked and I can still appreciate them today. Then there are those that never did a thing for me, and I discarded. Fast forward about 20 years later.... Now in my professional career, I've needed to get updated corporate photos for quite some time but was ok with silly selfies like the one on my google profile lol. Ok, so it was time to get serious... I then asked my broker for a referral and was given a name and number. Instead of me calling this guy, I googled the agent who he had photographed to see her image on her website, and I have to say that I wasn't impressed. She was very washed out and cloudy almost like a ghost. I then scrolled through all her staff photos assuming it was the same photographer and started to get that Kmarty vibe. Well, that wasn't going to work for me, so I started to search out photographers on google and came across tons of Kmarty JcPennyish photography studio vibes out there. Lots of bad lighting and cheesy poses. OMG! Maybe, I'm just used to better quality than what I was finding in today's market. Then, I came across Light Images. Scrolled through her corporate images and I was sold! I was also praying that I could afford to work with her because her photography was incredible. Perfect lighting, no cheesy poses. Sign me up! lol I immediately called her, and she was pleasant on the phone, completely professional and I was able to coordinate a shoot that was convenient for me. Everything was as she had said on the phone from my arrival to setup in her studio. She had everything ready to go and the whole process was quick. She had such great energy and I really enjoyed working with her. Then, the moment of truth... After the shoot, sitting with Susan as she pulled up the photos. I was over the moon! Wow! What a relief to see my images in perfect lighting, perfect everything. It was so difficult for me to weed out anything. lol She is AMAZING!!!! In the end, I ended up buying more than I had planned but it was so worth it... Today is Sunday and I didn't expect to hear from Susan, but she texted me to say my images were ready and she needed my email. Shortly after, I checked my email and I have to say that I was moved to tears... I had a good cry but they were tears of joy, gratitude, and appreciation... I was overwhelmed by the quality of her work. To see myself so beautifully in a way I haven't been able to really see in the mirror, but Susan was able to capture the essence of my beauty through her camera lens. Susan is a gifted artisan and if I didn't share all my thoughts and experience, I would feel greedy! I honestly believe that if you don't trust Susan to take your photos, you're only cheating yourself. Seriously! She is the best and I can't stop raving about her and my experience. I plan to do more shoots with Susan with my family and boyfriend. My only regret is that I didn't find her in my earlier years. Thank you, Susan! We had high hopes for this photographer based on our previous experience, but unfortunately this…read morerecent session was very disappointing. In the beginning we stated we only needed 1 hour since my daughter had to check in for her graduation ceremony an hour later. The time was supposed to be 1 to 2 but when we were ready to end the session he pushed to do his ideas which we stated we didn't want in the beginning. Despite being in a rush, we then decided to let him do his idea out of respect since we worked with him before, not knowing we would be charged in full for being polite and letting him use his artistic vision. He stated since we were "well into the second hour" he would be charging us for the full hour. We paid $400 for 1 hour and 15 minutes well above standard rates. Although we thought it was too much for barely an hour and a half of photos we still paid in full and even gave a $50 tip, trusting and expecting professional results in return. However, the photos we received were poorly edited and far below the quality we were promised. When we politely voiced our concerns about the quality (not the payment) he chose to post about it on social media, misrepresenting the situation and asking his followers to weigh in rather than addressing the real issue: the lack of quality in the final work. Rather than responding back in order for us to work out a solution, he ignores the emails and responds by posting on social media. When we voiced how we didn't appreciate taking a private matter between a client and photographer to social media he ghosted us and blocked us on everything. Instead of focusing on social media drama, we would have appreciated more professionalism, better communication, and, most importantly, quality work. Sadly, we won't be working with him again and wouldn't recommend him based on this experience.

I was visiting Vegas and I needed some headshots done right away for work. I put the request in…read moreYelp early in the morning around 6am and he responded right away. Pre shoot he was very direct, easy and fast to reply back. He was very fair and clear about the shoot. There was some confusion with the parking at the suite I was staying at, nevertheless Jorge showed up in time and didn't complain once about the inconvenience. I was blown away how professional and how ready he was for the shoot. He brought so much equipment to my suite and the whole experience made me feel like I was someone special. He gave great direction and we pretty much joked and laughed through the shoot. This was my first professional shoot and it was painless and enjoyable to say the least. It took him literally a day to get the pictures touched up and my family and friends told me it made me look better than I do in real life. Even my mom who told me I had a face for radio said I looked nice All in all he did an amazing job and I felt like I got a great deal overall. I would recommend him to anyone.
