The teachers actively seek to know your child and seek ways to teach them effectively. This school is not in a rut, like so many. Teachers are happy here, as are the administration. They are involved in other outside organization such as additional sports activities and also has scholastic book clubs that I take advantage of. First off, the front office ladies are extremely rude, especially to students. I've seen then…read morefirsthand give my daughter attitude but then be completely nice to me and other parents. They do not know how to treat children and should never be involved in education. Secondly, in the previous school year my children told me about a bug infestation that lasted about three weeks. Th small roaches would surround lockers and even bathrooms. Additionally, large roaches would crawl out of water fountains that students often drank out of. Everything is unsanitary and they do not care about student safety and health. The lunch is really bad as well. I've heard cases of spoiled milk, apples that are green inside, and slightly raw meat. Although packed lunch can solve this, not everyone can afford packed lunches and this school should know to properly nourish students. The school has no preparation for sports and is only focused on STEM, which isn't bad but students do not get enough movement after grade ninth. The principal is rude and took off the senior ceiling tile portraits after calling them ugly, but labeled them as "flammable". He also does not know how to speak to children and has a nasty attitude. Other Harmony schools are not like this, only this one that is too small and horrible.

Even on days they do not attend they ask if they can go. They are not only learning their letters, numbers, reading, etc. but learning so much about Jesus. They know Bible stories, worship songs, and have memorized scripture. The teachers and directors truly care about each and every child at the school. It is not a corporate owned school so it has a very warm, loving, Christian atmosphere. They do lots of special events for the children like the petting zoo, nature days, snow cones, mini-train rides, etc. Their motto is "excellence in Chrisitan education" and it is 100% true. I love that it truly is a preschool- not a daycare- they are learning all day not being babysat. I highly recommend this school and just cannot say enough about it. I am aware of the sister school being sold in Southlake (menioned in another review) - however, my understanding is that the curriculum, philosophy and teachers and staff all remained the same. It is also my understanding that the Southlake location was sold because the owner's husband was extremely ill and in ICU last winter and she simply couldn't manage both campus alone.

After explaining the unfortunate situation to the owner she made it clear that there was no room left for my daughter at the school and they gave her spot away. So now I'm having to cancel my whole week of work to take care of my daughter till I find a new place for her because I am a single dad with no family in Texas just Trying the best I can but people like this are a special kind of evil. My wife has really appreciated the kindness of all of his teachers and the front desk staff. At any time she can message them on the app during the day and they are responsive immediately. They send pics of our little guy and log all of his activities which gives us peace of mind. We were so nervous when we decided it was time for him to start daycare/school, and we took a while looking at a ton of schools, we are grateful we selected this location.
