Having been raised a city girl, I love looking around at this store. I love shopping here for things around the house, the yard, sporting items, camping, the RV! And occasionally clothing. The Hubbs spends a lot of time checking out the unique food and snack offerings. The staff is always helpful. read more

I really, really hate this store. I've done online pick up twice and the first time I excused the customer service failure because I've been a retail manager and I know after being short staffed with the pandemic there can be a lot on your plate but with that being said - My first experience I pulled up to do curbside pickup, called the store FIVE times at the number on the sign and after five times of ringing through to then advise me there's no one available I went in. I asked the cashier if this was typical for the store, I genuinely didn't care as I had done pickup before at other feed supply stores and sometimes they're different. They advised me no - someone should have come out and then they called the manager. The manager came out and told me that "no one was manning that station" which made no sense to me because as the manager - that's literally your job. They struggled to find my order but when they did they advised they would bring it out, I thanked them and went to my car. The manager made sure to point out that we "didn't get charged" until we picked up anyways so you know - I couldn't be /too/ upset and I shrugged her off, thanked her again and left. My husband went to go pick up our order of pellets Tuesday after I saw that it was ready for pick up. He went in and went to the front desk, didn't even bother calling and they said that their "online ordering system is down" and that he couldn't pick up the order. Now they love to emphasize how it's a "pending charge" but my bank does not reflect it as a pending charge, so either corporate is lying to their associates or the associates are lying to the customers either way they made him pay for another bag of pellets because even though they said they could see we were charged, see what we ordered, their system was down and therefore they would cancel it after. He sucked it up, bought the pellets and left. Today I get an email about how my order was cancelled because I never picked up my pellets which infuriated me. You're already able to see I've spent the money, have the product and then charge me again and then say it's my fault? Absolutely not. I only come here because I love sácate pellets and tractor supply does not have them but don't worry - not only will I post this on every review site but I'm sending this to sácate to ask them to move some supply to tractor supply because I refuse to deal with this incompetent organization. It's retail not rocket science y'all. read more

I think the people working there didn't like black people. When me and my husband and I walked in to purchase the Jean that were order from them. The two white women walked away and acted like we weren't there. Then my husband walked up and asked her if there was an order for him, and the lady was very rude! I shop for a lot of t things at this store and everyone is very helpful. My main complaint now is I joined their rewards club and was earning points. My husband purchased a firearm there and didn't notice they didn't give him points for the purchase which really added up for a lot of points. I took the receipt back to the store and the cashier said she would give it to the manager and have them put the points back on my account. I went into the store 2 days ago to purchase items and when they rang up my total I asked to use my points. Guess what!!!!! Nothing came up so since it's the end of the year I lost over 800 points. So much for customer service there. Someone either the cashier or the manager didn't do their job. That sucks!! read more

First time in the store today and was very impressed with the customer service as we walked the aisles several employees asked if we needed help finding anything or if they could be of help....... very refreshing. Once we made our selection we headed to the register and noticed a fairly long five or six folks deep. By the time we made it to the register they had already opened two more and it only took a very few minutes to check out. The store is laid out very well with great asile spacing and plenty of lighting. I do agree with a previous post they do have quite an eclectic selection which includes everything from chicken feed to wall art and everything in between I will definitely be returning read more

C-A-L ranch is always an interesting place. We come here to buy organic chicken feed. From time to time we will buy a special toy for my kids. They have these cool animal figure things that are dinosaurs, safari animals, farm animals etc. The employees are always nice and super helpful read more

So I have never heard of this place before. I live like 2 hours away and I was visiting a friend in town. Well on yesterday I wanted to look for boots and went to another store and was disappointed to find that they didn't have very many options. This place... HOLY COW. Has so many choices. In fact I almost bought boots. The ONLY reason I didn't was because I have a gift card for $100 and didn't have it with me. It didn't make sense to me to pay out of my own pocket that way. They have so much to choose from. They also have clothes and a bunch of other farm items. For pets and for the farm itself. They also had little chicks. They were SO cute lol. They were worth $3.29. I almost bought one. But I don't live on a farm yet. Someday I will though. I am very impressed with this store. They had a lot of hats to choose from as well. Definitely recommend! read more

Well, Jim, a manager in the gun dept. called me this morning and apologized to me about a miscommunication that kept me from picking up a gun I had ordered that had been at the store for several days. He explained what happened and told me I could pick my gun up any time. He even waived the transfer fee. I will be back there next time I need something. read more

I never shop at this store but they had something that I wanted. I bought two Coleman mini bikes that were pretty expensive. When we went to pick them up the lady at the register was pretty rude which was a bit irritating since we just spent over 1600 dollars at the store. She directed us to the parking lot where we waited for over 20 minutes. After 20 minutes we went back in the store and the "manager on the floor" told us they were busy and were loading our items as we speak. I am all for waiting but I have a huge issue with spending 1600 bucks at a place where the manager gives me attitude and I have to wait for over 30 minutes to get what I have already paid for read more

Spotty customer service. The manager was quite rude in explaining there lay-away "policy". They appear to discriminate against out-of-state firearms purchases. Especially if you're of the brown or "red" skinned variety. Despite there being absolutely nothing illegal with selling a long gun to a New Mexico resident. Apparently, we're all drunks, thiefs, rapists, and cartel gunmen. *I'm a college educated Native American military veteran with several years experience in the retail firearms industry. Update 05/16/16: The store has improved its customer service considerably since my first couple of visits. Other than the occasional dejected look from one or two of the cashiers & cart collectors the rest of the staff has proven fairly helpful. read more

The staff members at this store including cashier team members were very helpful and friendly. The store was organized and clean. They carry an eclectic variety of merchandise and they also offer layaway. Sale prices were great and we will return in the future to shop here. This review is really about their website which is one of the worst I have ever experienced. When you search for something you have no idea where the heck its going to take you. I recently searched for Pre-Charged Pressure Water Tanks. First it sent me to Propane hoses and tanks. I tried it again and it sent me to good old Western Boots and wear. This has been a on going problem with Cal-Ranch and I have talked to their people at the head office and they say they are aware of the problems and working on it. I would like to know HOW LONG IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM, its been FOUR YEARS and counting. I would like to say the people at their Casa Grande store have been very nice and helpful. read more

I pulled up a 25% off coupon to use on my phone,wich had a scan code..was told by the manager that they do not honor those coupons. Have been to others that had no problem using them. I purchased a hand gun from here a while back...I asked the mouthy older gentleman that runs the gun department....Does the gun come with a case and the accesaries needed...he says to me...youre lucky if i give you a card board box to put it in....at that point i should have said no thank you...But i wanted the gun so i bought it, and it did come with a nice case... but someone had already rifled through the case and had taken all the accesaries ( gun oil...that had a spot where it was in case but now gone...tool to disasemble gun was also gone when i got home i noticed all this...the old man denies that this stuff should have beeen included). Ive also been in the store to search for ammo...and when this rude man is on duty he just laughs at people looking for ammo..rather than just saying no we are out...Dear manager I hope you confront and keep a close eye on this old guy. he has sticky fingers and a bad attitude read more

i went in when they had the grand opening and got waited on and helped finding what i needed, the store was nice and had a good selection of things, but i have been back twice since and it is impossible to find anybody to help you. i wanted to get some boots and looked all over the place for someone to help me and could not find anybody so i left. went next door to silverado western wear and got my boots and the service was excellent. cal ranch lost a 225 dollar sale. i decided to give them another chance since i thought maybe it was a fluke but the same thing couldn't get any help and left. i dont care how nice your store is if you can not be bothered to help a customer i wont be back. read more
