Business hours are different than usual so be sure to check prior to making the drive to the location. I ordered one of my favorite proteins, oxtails. The oxtails here are cooked fall off the bone tender in a dark, richly flavored gravy. I detected so many delightful tasting spices. The plate was served with festival and a side of rice and red beans. The gravy is good over the rice. Festival is a nicely textured, slightly sweet bread knot. I really enjoyed those. Steamed vegetables were tender and fresh tasting with seasonings added for flavor. I liked how the cabbage was cooked to a soft texture. Portion size was generous and I should be able to get several meals. I ordered several other items on the menu to try. The vegetable patty had a crisp, flaky exterior with a filling of cabbage, corn, carrots, and broccoli. There is a nice spicy kick to it. The plantains were cooked soft with a fair amount of sweet caramelization. Carrot and lemon cakes were fresh tasting, especially the lemon one. They made a nice ending to a delicious meal. Service is friendly. There is a market also with imported Jamaican goods. Next time I will try some of the tropical fruit beverages available here. Parking is plentiful and the strip mall is easy to access from Green Tree Boulevard. The restaurant is also on DoorDash now.

The market has only been open a few weeks now and is currently still building their inventory so make a request if there is an item you would like. Square footage wise, this is the largest Asian market in the High Desert. I ran out of fish sauce which made it the perfect time to visit. They had two brands currently, "Squid Brand" and "Three Crabs." Both are quality brands of fish sauce. I chose the Squid Brand since I have not had this one since childhood. I look forward to using this for cooking and as a table condiment. I perused every aisle. There are also freezers for frozen foods and a refrigerator case for fresh vegetables and beverages. I got some Milkita candy and a package of coconut butter biscuits. Hopefully, more snacks will be available in the near future. I was gifted a bag of A Choy which is an Asian green also known as Taiwanese Lettuce. I later stir fried it with sliced garlic and fermented tofu (foo yee). It was delicious! I definitely plan on returning in the near future to see what other items are available. It is nice to be able to purchase Asian groceries without making the trip down the hill. I visit this plaza often due to Sam's Club, but rarely drive in the plaza towards Kohls so I was surprised when my friend told me the other week. I needed to head to both Kohls and Sam's Club for errands and stopped by H Mart to grab a few items. I am spoiled by the H Mart in Diamond Bar (DB), so I was expecting something along the same lines but it was a bit different in this location. It is cleaner but some of the produce and fruit were not as fresh as the DB location. Also, there was an entire fridge aisle of alcohol drinks! That sure was a sight to see, since I do not ever recall seeing that in the DB location, or at least not that close to the entrance, let alone across from the produce and fruit. We did see a worker throwing out prepared food, so they must be clearing out already prepared food halfway through the day or something because we were surprised as it was still early afternoon. We do not recommend purchasing the prepped sweet potato here as they are dry and hard, not as fresh as the DB location. We were able to find what we needed and were on our way. The lines to the cashier are very short so it is convenient, as compared to the lines at the DB location, along with the always busy parking lot. This location is a bit smaller than others and also a bit pricier, probably due to the location. Overall, it is convenient if one is in the area and need a few items, but this would not be my main H Mart to shop at.
