Not sure what is going on here but we waited for 10-15 minutes just for someone to take our order, other tables around us were waiting as well, took another 15 minutes just to get drinks and then we waited another 15 and decided to leave after we saw them give our food to another table. That table said this isn't our food but we will take it since they were so hungry and were also waiting over 45 minutes. As we were leaving they asked if we wanted our food to go. What food!?! Had me a wonderful breakfast at C & C Cafe last weekend. It is a bit of a drive from lower central Bucks County to Perkasie, but the trip and destination were both well worth the time and effort. This part of Bucks hasn't changed all that much and its large open forests and fields, and the ageless charm of this 19th Century village, make for a near magic experience. C&C is on the first floor of an old building and feels sort of like being in a basement. The dining room has room for about a dozen tables, while the counter where I sat had 5 stools. From my perch I was able to see most of what was going on. The house was near full with locals who all seemed to know each other and talked of community issues and the latest sporting news. Staff was friendly and mostly high school kids working part time jobs to save for college or other consumption. The woman in charge was mistress of her domain and made sure everything ran efficiently. I walked in with an open mind about what to eat, but upon seeing the weekend specials, I knew I would look no further than, "Pappy's Italian Chicken Fried Steak." I was curious and seriously interested in one of my favorite morning meals that is not available in most places. What arrived about 15 minutes later blew my mind. It looked like veal/chicken parmigiana, with rich red gravy over beautifully pan fried thin packed ground steak. Thick chunks of mozzarella melted atop the two filets, accompanied by two scrambled eggs, home fries, rye toast, and a steak knife just in case the fork/butter knife didn't do the trick (they didn't cut the mustard). The CFS was delicious, and I cut it into small pieces to prolong my enjoyment. The red sauce was epic and made in house. The potatoes were good, but really unnecessary given the awesomeness of the main attraction. The rye was standard and useful in sopping up the sauce. The eggs were really just a space filler on the already heavy large plate. It was one of those meals that I didn't want to end. The coffee was also quite good, and I appreciated the refills. This was another of my favorite breakfasts for 2022. I have had a few already, but C&C was right up there with the best of them. So tempted to return soon! read more

let me start this off with saying I have never left a review on any establishment ever. My experience was so poor that I have decided to write this. The food is pretty good, everything else is miserable. I am very local to the area and have been there often, the biggest problem is the main manager. If you have any issues or mixups or have anything critical to say at all she is a total jerk about it. Very defensive and rude and always has the behavior of a hormonal teen who just got told that they need to pick up their room. I had a server that was new, which comes with the expected hiccups. What I did not expect was the behavior of the manager when the issues were trying to be adressed. I would not recommend supporting a buisness who's run by someone with such a horrible view of what acceptable customer service looks like. read more

Fantastic little breakfast plate right in Olde Towne Perkasie. We dined here when visiting my parents. The breakfast was phenomenal. I ordered the cream chipped beef. Very hot and fresh. The toast was very fresh. Their omelets are also great and custom made. Coffee is very fresh, not burnt at all. Great value. My husband and I love coming here for lunch! They have the best soups in the area, hands down! We normally order the same thing every time we come, because it's so good, so we can't say we have tried everything on the menu. Love this place - you may pass it right by as it is under the sidewalk level but during the nice weather they have an outdoor seating area in front to draw attention. Gave this place a second chance because the first time was horrible. Big mistake. Ordered eggs, how bad can they mess up breakfast right? The home fries were like potato chips and were rotten. Guess the cook didn't notice. I also ordered water with lemon and the lemon was rotten. Guess the server didn't notice. I tried to have an intelligent conversation with the owner about my experience. My husband and I love this quaint, homespun cafe. Service is spot-on and the menu is perfect for breakfast and lunch appetites. I often crave the grilled chicken parmesan wrap. Kim's (chef and owner) sauce is spectacular!!! I have even purchased sauce, made by Kim, by the quart, to use as my own base sauce. I stopped here today for a quick breakfast at 10.30am. As for the service: Although there were several tables open it took 15min to seat me and my family of 4. I had to ask for a menu and coffee 3xs before I got it. (Btw the coffee is horrible.). It took them 35min till they came to take my order so it was nearly an hour till we had our food. We never were given refills (they offered once but never came by). As for the food : The eggs i ordered over easy- the yolk on one was broken and clearly hard. The omelette sounded so good but it was mediocre. I will say, the french toast was really good and the pancakes were good. But everything else was disappointing and frustrating. The corned beef hash was mostly potato... So much so that it actually needed salt (normally corned beef hash is super salty). They also asked if we wanted onions in our home fries and then upcharged all the orders for it without mentioning it. Im writing this as i sit here waiting for them to come get my credit card, but its been sitting on the table now for the last 15min waiting. Side note, i ate outside which is nice, but the inside is dingy... So in summary, if I ever get out of here, I wont be back. read more

My mom and I have come here a few times now. We always get the same thing: Eggs Benny, with ham and a square hashbrown and some coffee. Everytime it is delicious and it's only $7. Which to me is the cheapest I've even seen that dish. The hashbrowns remind me of mcdonalds but crispier and tastier. They also have nice outside seating and the tables are decent size, comfy chairs and not leaning every which way. That all being said I'm only giving this place 3 stars because the menu is nothing special, classic breakfast foods (which I'm sure are fine - I mean how can you screw that up) I like to get the eggs benny because it's a pain in the ass to make at home and I can get eggs with toast anywhere (my house). Also the service is hit or miss. If they're busy (weekends) it can be really aweful. If they would just hire/ put one more person on the floor I think they would be ok. Everyone is extremely nice though and that's why I go back. They could be crappy servers with crappy attitudes but they aren't. read more

My daughter wanted to take me out to breakfast on Mother's Day but no one we called would take reservations. We decided to try the C & C Café and it will now be our go-to restaurant! Even on Mother's Day, one of the busiest, if not the busiest, restaurant days of the year, our service was phenomenal and so were our breakfasts. We also had my 15 year-old grandson with us who has a severe peanut allergy. What a wonderful thing it was for us to find out this is a completely peanut-free restaurant! Usually we have to check anything he orders to make sure it wasn't in contact with peanuts or peanut oil and he still doesn't trust it. I can't say enough good things about every aspect of our Mother's Day breakfast. We were so pleasantly surprised to find this gem right in Perkasie, where I live. We can't wait to go back! read more
