Over the years, I brought two cars on three occasions for repair. Nathan has a lot of experience and can give very accurate estimates for repair just by eyeballing your car in the parking lot. During my most recent visit, I thought that I would get an estimate from a nearby competitor. The other shop said that my car was totaled and gave me an estimate for repair that was 5 times what Nathan quoted. Never again. I have always been completely satisfied with C&C Collision's work. Getting into any auto related mishap can be a less than ideal experience. And yes, I'm using soft language here. I was recently the sandwich filling in a moderate speed (on the freeway) three car accident in my beloved and extremely babied Lexus SC430. Argh. To add to the frustration of the moment, the car who rear ended me was able to separate my right rear wheel from the suspension arm. For a rear wheel drive car, I was lucky enough to be able to pull over to the emergency lane. The two other traffic accident participants were able to drive away while I spent some quality phone time on the side of the 5 freeway listening to the drive by me quickly fast car symphony and arranging tow truck aid. Anyhow, knowing I was not at fault here and was pretty sure I had the right to select the body shop of my choice, I wanted to make sure I did as much research as possible before just dropping off my car at any random body shop. I popped onto Yelp for a listing of auto body shops and started calling shops with a better than 2.5 star rating in my area (Pasadena) and Longo Lexus in El Monte. I asked the following questions: Have you worked on convertibles before? What is the shop policy on using after market non OEM parts? Which insurance agencies do you frequently work with? Do you guarantee your work and if yes, how do you guarantee your work? And finally, what's your backlog? I called approximately 5-6 places to get a feel for the shop's customer service level, to get a feel for the shop's confidence in the processes they have, and to get a gut vibe on what I might expect as the end product (do they pride themselves on quality work?). For the most part, everyone had either a standard response of either I don't know, it all depends on the insurance company and I can't answer that right now or, please come in and we'll do our best to help you. Nathan from C&C was different. First and foremost, he had that, I care what you think about me and MY business voice as opposed to the par for the course, I just work here and I will clock out after eight hours voice. He spent the time with a complete stranger (me on the phone) and explained the processes he goes through to repair an automobile. He went on to explain the intricacies involved with my car and what challenges he might encounter if he were to try and repair my car. Needless to say, after our 5-10 minute conversation, I had high confidence in their services and not long after, I scheduled C&C to come get my disabled car from my home. I was initially forwarded to C&C after my Macan S was rear ended by some jackass that decided to take off before showing me his insurance. (btw to this dude where ever you are, I hope karma rear ends the hell out of you too) I have already heard of C&C prior to this, from my detailer in Orange County, to multiple online buddies on Bimmerpost, to my friends at AutoTalent. I knew I had to give it a shot since I didn't have any "Porsche Certified" collision center contacts (mine were BMWs). Long story short, Nathan and C&C did a fantastic job with the car. I did not need to constantly chase my insurance, they did it for me along with making sure the process was painless. I cannot tell the paint difference for the most part (though I'm not an expert). That was my very first experience with Nathan and C&C. Most recently though, I had a small incident with my personal M3. A car that means a lot to me. As furious as I was initially, I figured to bring it over to Nathan and C&C and see what they might recommend after speaking with my detailer (who installed the clear bra to my car) as well as Nathan through e-mail. I basically just want to figure out if there is anything I can do to repair the minor ripple in my front bumper that doesn't require any painting. I was asking for a lot for something as minor as the damage since my car's clear bra absorbed almost all of the damage that otherwise would have been directly to my car. In which case, repainting would have been an option due to the damage. After meeting with Nathan in person and explaining things once again in person that wasn't through e-mail, he agreed to do what he could w/o removing my clear bra and repainting but due to the limits I have asked, he was slightly skeptical about fixing it completely. I just openly said I hope my clear bra absorbed the damage so I won't have to repaint. I handed my baby (lol :P) to C&C and waited for about a day regarding if I get lucky that they will be able to repair or if something happened under that is basically out of my or their control. I found out sadly, that the damage in the area was behind "something" and they are unable to really get into it. Nathan said he preferred to show me in person so I went the next day and saw for myself. He goes on to explain how most car manufacturers give their front bumper strength. It was just my luck that the damage happened at the location where they will be unable to get into it w/o tearing up the bumper. So, they asked me what I would want to do at this point. I told them basically, I still want to avoid repainting basically because my M3's paint isn't the typical BMW one, it's an individual request. Not that I did not trust C&C but I want to keep the OEM paint for as long as possible without going down that route. At the very least, the damage is minor enough after they got through with fixing some other minor bumps (which wasn't hard to fix) that I can deal with this for the time being as well as hope my clear bra replacement would cover the damage. Nathan and C&C also went in to fix a minor door issue I noticed, as my driver door was slightly off center. They also shored up a few other minor things before I was able to pick up my car and headed on my way. While I'm sure Nathan would prefer to repair the problem I presented to them, but they more than did enough to make sure I was happy with what I am left with. There are very few collision centers I would trust with my personal cars and I can safely say C&C and Nathan are now among them considering how OCD I am with details. Not to mention, seeing them as passionate about the cars they work on or being able to speak with the tech that was working om my car, it makes me feel so much better. They had a gen 4 Supra when Nathan showed me to the back, along with two classic 911 Targa cars owned by Nathan and Rett respectively. Obviously, this went on much longer than I wanted but, C&C, Nathan or Rett will always have my business now. This is probably my 4th review of this shop. I just wanted to update my experience at C&C Collision. For those looking to get quality "show-car" results C&C is the place to go. If you're looking to fix your daily driver or your Bugatti this is the place to come to. Anything that leaves this shop is quality. I wanted to update this review because C&C has done done extensive work on one of my cars and that car recently won Best of Show at Bimmerfest 2014. This really says a lot about their work, more than any Yelp review could say about their work. Yes, their work may look spectacular but this just shows how detail oriented and how much of a perfectionist they are. Now you're thinking, well I don't own a show-car. Even if you don't have a show-car, I recently brought in my new Toyota Plug-In Prius for them to do some work on. The work was done promptly and I was given a time frame on when it would be done. Just because you don't own a show-car doesn't mean you should skimp on quality work. There is nothing worse than dealing with a bodyshop that hacks up your car and/or throws on weeks of delays. Trust me there is no worse feeling than getting your car back with missing parts and/or bad craftsmanship. Ultimately it becomes a waste of money, time and could even hurt your resale value. Every time I'm here I'm updated via email and text messages frequently (but not to a point where it's bothersome). Boy am I glad I came here. This place deserves a medal for best customer experience and service. I recently was in an automobile accident and my insurance, State Farm, gave me a list of their Select Service Repair facilities. I looked at plenty of locations on their recommended list, first starting in Santa Monica, all the way up towards the San Fernando Valley for a body shop that would take care of my car. Many reviews were between 3.5-4 stars and I was ready to choose a chain store, but I found this gem. The same day I was in the accident, I brought in the car for them to look at it. It was towards the end of the week and they were already full with cars (plus it was a holiday weekend). They gave me an honest time period letting me know that they probably would not start working on my car till the Tuesday after the holidays. Nathan (co-owner) came to look at my car and explained to me after doing a visual what he thinks it may cost and what probably needs to be replaced. Everything was thorough as he explained to me in-advance how they order parts, who they order them from and what the insurance requires. Apparently my insurance wants him to replaced used parts on my car if they were available (specifically the headlights). Although he had to follow through with their terms, he repeatedly sent them back because they weren't perfect (he has a great eye for detail). He explained to me the situation and was able to replace my headlights for a completely new set. My front end looks brand new- as if it came directly out of the dealership. There was no "ghetto-rigging" here, everything was replaced from the inside fenders to the little plastic pieces- I was pretty amazed. Also the nicks I had on the fender and hood are gone. It's like a whole new car again. He also saw that my rear bumper was sticking out (due to an unrelated hit and run incident) and managed to put it back into place (it was really an eyesore beforehand). Nicolette from the front desk was also extremely helpful and constantly gave me updates via text message. No need to call-in to find the status, and they were on time with their estimate too- actually a few hours earlier than the ETA. Overall, If you are looking for a high quality place to get your car repaired, this is the place. They offer lifetime warranty on their service as long as you own the car. Everyone knows the only thing harder than finding a good mechanic is finding a good body shop. I called and spoke with Nathan over the phone who explained the whole process and time line. I brought the car in on a Monday morning and picked it up the following Tuesday. While it was there the front bumper was completely reconditioned and painted due to rock chips and a less than stellar previous re-spray and the passenger side rocker panel was repainted due to a light curb entanglement. I found them very professional, timely, and honest about the assessment of repairs that were and weren't needed to my car, as well as how to work best with my insurance company (which can always be a headache as everyone knows). Full review: I was referred to C&C and Nathan by a friend after my vehicle was hit. The accident wasn't my fault, but I didn't have full coverage on my vehicle. They told me to bring the vehicle over and they would help me deal with the other party's insurance company. They sent a tow truck over to pick up my car and I went to the shop to start on the paperwork. Nicolette was very friendly and helpful every time I talked to her on the phone or saw her in person. Because I have an older BMW, the value of the car wasn't that high. The quote they gave me to repair the vehicle was more than insurance gave me. They went back and forth with the insurance company to try and get more money for repairs. Finally after about a month, the insurance company declared my car as a total loss. Since my car has a lot of sentimental value, I decided to buy it back from insurance to get it repaired with the money they sent me for the value of my car. Nathan told me I could take the vehicle to another shop if I thought the costs were too high. Seeing the quality of work that they do, I decided to keep my car at the shop and get it repaired by C&C. I was referred to C&C from a friend, and they were great. I can't say enough nice things about the receptionist working the front though. I got my car back when promised and they did excellent work (it looks new again)! My only complaint is the weird lack of transparency. I dealt with the receptionist 99.9% of the time through the whole experience. When I arrived she set everything up and walked me through the process, then called some guy to check out the car. He comes out, doesn't say hello or anything, asks for me key and goes out to the car. He then comes back in, leaves the key with the receptionist and walks away into the back. I thought this was odd, but assumed he was having an off day. To his credit, he did text me to let me know the status of my car and when it was ready. Things got even weirder when I went to get my car. I dealt with the friendly receptionist, paid, and then she handed me the keys and said it was around back. That's it!? No walk around from someone to see if I'm happy with it? No explanation of the work? No explanation of care instructions? No thanks for your business? Kind of a weird, cold experience, but at least the work got done and it looks great. read more

This place is amazing. My whole front end had to be repaired after a low speed head on collision, and so after being recommended by a friend of mine, I contacted C&C. I called and spoke to Nathan who was extremely informative about the extra care they take and little details that make them stand out, which convinced me to tow my car there immediately. I live about 45 mins away, but I love my car and didn't mind the extra distance knowing that it would be in good hands. After the inspector finished his job at the shop, another C&C employee, Edgar, gave me a call to give me an update of what was found and also inform me that they would do a deeper inspection themselves to be sure that everything was caught up front. From that day, Edgar was my point of contact and communication was clear and consistent. He called me and verified every small detail as they found them throughout the repair. That was very much appreciated. My car is slightly modified and Edgar was extremely helpful with ensuring that the parts I replaced were the right ones, as well as anything that can be saved and repaired, rather than replaced, was done so to save some money. They were even able to help me with some mechanical stuff that they ran into. Upon pick up I was amazed, the car has honestly never looked better. As Edgar showed me the work they did, as well as pointed out the parts that I can't see immediately, it confirmed all of the care and detailed work that Nathan described to me during the initial call. Edgar compared the old paint that I had to the paint that they did. You never realize the extreme differences in quality until you can see the contrast on a single body. He pointed out the little crevices and angles which they ensure they paint, which lower-quality shops would neglect. I can confirm this lack of detail by looking at my mom's car that was recently repaired. His knowledge and advice (both mechanical and body related) was educational and appreciated. Many times, after leaving a shop you contemplate where they may have cut corners during the repair to save money, I never got that sense here.
