He removed 40 year old wallpaper that I tried to do on my own for 15+ hours with little success. He then painted my kitchen to perfection. After that job, I called him to do major sheetrock repair and painting on short notice. He finished the job in one afternoon even though it was a 2-3 day job (I needed it done immediately as the house was going on the market the next morning). Once again, the job was done perfectly. You could not see where the sheetrock was repaired and the paint job was perfect. All of the above at very reasonable prices. Miquel deserves a 10+ rating. I signed the contract in Sep 2019 and it was supposed to be done in 5 weeks. He kept a saying that it was an issue getting the permit from the township. However, it seems that this was all a lie and seems to be more of his lack of follow through with the needed information on his end. (Myself and my neighbor have dealt with the township since and they were very helpful and willing to expedite). He never returns phone calls, texts and emails in a timely manner. Every time you get a hold of him he will always come with some sort of excuse. And now he will not return my full deposit because he bought materials which he has left on my property since September unprotected. He claims that it is still usable treated wood, however, I have met with a contractor and was advised that he would not be able to use the material because it is now bowing. When I asked for a refund he would not return my calls, text, emails until I Cc'd my lawyer that I would take legal action. And now checking his BBB standing it looks like it has dropped to a D and he is no longer accredited. And if you look at his public records he was actually sued and it was settled with a stipulation that the complainant does not make a disparaging remark against him. Hopefully, this review will help others avoid the aggravation.

Bob and the job foreman readily let me pick another color, drove to Morristown and picked up the paint and corrected my error without skipping a beat. All work was done in the time frame and price that was promised. The painters did outstanding work. They're skilled, professional, and extremely hard workers. Jandy, the owner, answered the phone when I called for an estimate. His prompt estimate was less expensive than the other painters I called. They came out to do the repair when he said they would (promptly at 8:00 am). They were meticulous in covering my countertops and floors. They worked quickly but efficiently, replaced the sheetrock, taped, spackled, and painted the entire ceiling with 2 coats. Once we were here for a couple of months we decided to have another room painted (the lack of fresh paint in this space was a far cry from the other rooms). At the start, we received a few different quotes and John's was comparable and cheaper than others. They were also able start and finish sooner than the other companies. We worked with Jeremy who was informative, prompt, and an overall nice guy. There were a few different crews that worked in the house. They were all very professional, courteous, and did a nice job prepping and cleaning up. There were a few minor things that needed to be addressed after the fact.
