At no point we were told the bill was going to be $225. He did not give us a legit bill. The total that was circled was $155. He was nasty, rude and dishonest. He removed 40 year old wallpaper that I tried to do on my own for 15+ hours with little success. He then painted my kitchen to perfection. After that job, I called him to do major sheetrock repair and painting on short notice. He finished the job in one afternoon even though it was a 2-3 day job (I needed it done immediately as the house was going on the market the next morning). Once again, the job was done perfectly. Jandy, the owner, answered the phone when I called for an estimate. His prompt estimate was less expensive than the other painters I called. They came out to do the repair when he said they would (promptly at 8:00 am). They were meticulous in covering my countertops and floors. They worked quickly but efficiently, replaced the sheetrock, taped, spackled, and painted the entire ceiling with 2 coats. Once we were here for a couple of months we decided to have another room painted (the lack of fresh paint in this space was a far cry from the other rooms). At the start, we received a few different quotes and John's was comparable and cheaper than others. They were also able start and finish sooner than the other companies. We worked with Jeremy who was informative, prompt, and an overall nice guy. There were a few different crews that worked in the house.
