Terrible company to work with, paid over $4k to repair our sprinkler system after a tree fell in the front yard, they did not test the sprinklers or start them up because it was fall and said they "dont have that equipment to in the truck." They said it would be tested at startup in the spring. Spring came and they tested the sprinklers....and charged us $98 more. They said it would be part of the project cost, but keep sending us past due bills. The new sprinklers do not cover the lawn, should have tested them in the fall because now our grass is dead. Stated it will be two weeks or more to have someone come out to add sprinklers to the original projected that again...we paid over $4,000 for. 6 months later and its still not fixed. If we hadnt already paid for them in an emergency we would not still be working with them. Never use this yard care company read more

Sprinkler repair and Adjustment. I needed to have sprinkler heads raised and adjusted, possibly replaced. Unfortunately, this work was not completed. The crew only adjusted a few existing heads and changed the watering schedule, which did not address the core issue. I hired a different company who completed the task. On August 4, 2025, I called to follow up on the service and to voice my concerns. During that call, I spoke with a woman named Cecelia. I found her tone to be very condescending and argumentative, which made it difficult to express my concerns or have a constructive conversation. I asked to speak with the manager who wasn't there. You would be well advised to hire a different company for your yard care needs. read more

I was a regular customer. I called for starting my sprinklers and the replace a valve. I was told they couldn't schedule me right then, but would call me back. I don't understand why I couldn't be scheduled. I've waited 3 days, and no call back. This is such terrible customer service I won't use them again and will not recommend them to anyone. I called to schedule an appointment for winterization of my sprinkler system. I received an email stating they would be out on 10/31. I received an email on 10/30 stating they would be out on 10/31 and to make sure my dogs were contained, and the work area was clean. I cleaned the area and stayed home all day waiting for them to arrive. They never arrived or contacted me. I reached out on 11/1 and was told that my appointment wasn't for 10/31, but instead 11/4, even though I have an email stating otherwise. I received an email later in the day on 11/1 saying they would be out on 11/4. I rescheduled meetings for 11/4, so I could be home to shut my dogs in the house while they were here. Again, no one showed up. At 122pm I received an email "reminding" me that my appointment was for 11/5. When I reached out to them about the delays, they simply said I was scheduled for 11/5, implying I had the dates wrong. I sent them the emails they sent saying my appointment was on 10/31 and then 11/4 and asked why the appointments were rescheduled the response I received was "A tech was out so we needed to reschedule." I would have understood if they had contacted me in a timely manner and told me there was an issue. There was no apology or even a professional explanation. I canceled my appointment and will be using a company that is dependable and professional. read more

C & C Yard Care put in our backyard, sprinklers, curbing, paver patio, walkway 2 dry well's and upgraded the sprinkler controller because our home builder put in the bare minimum. The workers did a great job on the project and Chris the owner was great coming by and checking in to see if we were satisfied. I would recommend them 100%. Definitely on the low end of Yard Care. Sparse fertilizer no edging or cleanup mowing is done with a large tractor that tears up the yard. Grass is grown over my curb and edging which I can't even find now from lack of edging . We are in an HOA definitely plan on dumping them. read more

I am seeking a response and a refund from C&C; my attempts to contact have gone unanswered. Last year, I would have posted a glowing review, as they took great care of my lawn. However, this year, it's apparent they're shopping out the labor to third parties, as the people showing up wear no uniforms like last year and their vehicle displays a different company name. I've been traveling a lot this year, and finally had a break where I could actually see what's been happening with my lawn. Instead of edging, they use string trimmers around the edges, scalping all the way to the dirt until I have a foot-deep buffer of dirt between my flower beds and grass. Additionally, I don't know how, but as they race across my yard on their mower, the wheels gouge my lawn from them taking their turns too fast, and they don't adjust the mower height for the small hill up one side of my lawn, which has resulted in severe scalping. I've gone through 2 giant bags of grass seed trying to repair the bare holes left by their string trimmers and mower, and there wasn't enough to patch the holes in HALF my front lawn. I'm angry. My dad and I owned our own lawn care business when I was in high school and college, and I would be embarrassed to leave a lawn looking like this. I called C & C to do some bush trimming and was quoted $250 because it might take two hours or more. After a month, they came and did the work (very good work) in 25 minutes. I was billed $272 for 25 minutes of work - a rate of $500+ an hour. I called immediately after the workers left to question the estimate. Never heard back. Called after I got the bill (very pleasant individual) and was told the manager was emailed about my concerns, never heard anything from anyone. I will never use them again. If you can afford $500 an hour, call C & C! read more

When I questioned him about what he was doing he said "This is what we do!" And proceeded to tell me that my car "isn't new because it's from Autonation". What?!? That's just nonsense. Hired them and was excited to not have to do much in the way of mowing. I work a hectic schedule and didn't need that headache on top of it. The first day I was scheduled for a mow, they skipped me; claiming my yard was short enough. Clearly they didn't look in the back because the grass was about a foot tall. They didn't bother edging or anything instead, they just took off. The second scheduled day, they mowed buuuuut forgot to mow the entire back yard, leaving half of it crazy and wild. I called them- they came back with their manager- voila. They apologized and the mower guy claimed to have just been mowing with his head down and didn't notice our tiers. I mentioned to him the tiers were in a note on my file. Another apology. I thought, problem fixed! Nope. Third day schedule they neglected to mow the whole thing again. Fed up and frustrated with having to babysit them and have them come back and finish the job, I fired them. Even with how unhappy I was with their service- how lazy they're mowing guys seem to be... they still sent me a bill for their "hard work" with a whole 15$ deducted. Wow- thanks so much. Don't bother with these jack wagons. They don't care about your yard, just your money. I also love seeing the owner argue against every single bad review on Google and in some, even putting the customer down. Excuses, excuses, excuses. Good service guys. read more

I've had a negative experience using C &C Yardcare. I first had a technician out to look at our sprinkler system, since one of the cycles wasn't working properly. The issue was fixed, but the box in the ground was completely broken in half during the repair and it was left that way. I called and asked for that repaired. A different technician came out to repair the box. When we turned on our sprinklers this year, the same problem that was worked on last time was occurring again. I called C & C to see if they can check it out again. They were booked at the time, so we had to wait about 5 days or so until the next Thursday. When Thursday came, no one showed up and we didn't receive a call regarding their absence. Due to the multiple negative experiences, I do not recommend C & C. read more

Moved in to a new house one year ago and needed the landscaping done. We signed a contract in August and our yard was finally done in May. We have had sprinkler heads that weren't attached and blew off when they turned on, many patches of lawn that are brown or didn't grow, and today while weed eating one of the drainage pipes broke! it is made of a cheap plastic! In addition some of our plants never grew this summer. When we called to complain about our brown lawn, they sent out a worker for a sprinkler check and charged us $65. We paid over $65K for all this. I would never recommend this company! read more

I had a challenging encounter with this company a year ago. As a company owner myself, I decided to talk with the owner. He understood the problem, the circumstances and the importance of keeping customers. He asked me to "let them repair" our relationship....a fair ask. They did all my work this year, on schedule and, in fact, repaired our many year relationship. Regaining trust is perhaps harder than getting it in the first place. I can, once again, highly recommend this company. I apologize if my former Yelping cost them any customers but it is better to quarrel sometimes than to just quit. I'm glad I didn't quit. And I'm glad they cared enough about my business and their reputation to continue working at it vs. just finding another customer. Now comes the long winter. read more

I had been with C & C for a couple of years, and had a few issues, some sprinkler repair and adjustments that were supposed to be done but were not. This year they came to my house to spray and sprayed my entire herb garden! I was in NYC and came back to completely dead herbs. This was not a wild garden that could appear to be weeds but a very neatly planted garden is very straight rows against my house, about 60'. I called them to see what they were going to do to remedy the situation, they called backed once, leaving a message, but then never returned my call again. I regret having to write this review. However, C & C's service has been poor. This past winter they cleared our driveway and applied deicer. For no apparent reason one bill never came and then a second had a late charge. The late charge was waived, but when I questioned the fact that the deicing charge was 4 or more times that of other months, I was given three different explanations of why. None of the explanations was logical. Finally, we negotiated a reduced charge. Also, last year we had 24 lavender plants put in. In the fall it was clear that several of them had died. They were guaranteed for one year. The account rep suggested that we wait until spring to replace them. A suggestion to which we agreed. We have now called three times about the replacement and have yet to be told when it will occur. Our one year guarantee will run out by the end of July, and we are not optimistic that the replacement will be done. We would not use this company again for any type of work. read more

The nightmare continues. I previously wrote a review about how bad this company is and the horrible experience I had. Now even though they received a $600 payment on 3/22 which they cashed per my bank records and even though they didn't even complete the job they continue to bill me for $600 and late fees. I've provided the information to them but apparently they choose to ignore it. They don't even bother to pick up the phone and try to resolve their error. We have them aerate the front and back yard, winterize our sprinkler system and they also do a bug barrier spray. And it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to have these services done every year! I wouldn't recommend for residential. The first time they came out and did my yard was the best. Afterwards they butchered it to the dirt using commercial equipment not just once but every time until I told them to stop coming. Used fertilizer services too and honestly after comparing previous years of using Tru Green, this was the worst my lawn looked since moving here 10 years ago. I didn't complain because it wouldn't solve anything but I believe they're more apt for commercial jobs. Tree and shrub service was good and the weed service for my bedding areas was also good. Sprinkler service was useless until i complained and they finally sent someone out who knew what he was doing and admitted i got hosed. Cutting and fertilizing was horrible especially when I signed up for all services and 2k later I got hosed. Lesson learned though. read more

Do you think we could get a call about our grass being DEAD! NO! They turned on the sprinkler system and are there every week. Are the mowers color blind? . Called C and C to do some sprinkler work. The tech came out after a few days and left me a bid. Seemed like a good bid, so I agreed to use them. He told me that his front office would call me and schedule a time, since the work required somebody to be home to turn off and on the main waterline. Nobody called after a few days, so I called them. Apparently I had already been scheduled and then they asked if this would work for me. I told them I couldn't be home the day they picked, and so I had to schedule a couple weeks later. I waited those couple weeks, and was excited when Friday came to finally get my sprinkler system fixed. They were supposed to be at my house at 1pm. They never came. I called about 2:30 and the front office told me that they are running behind, but that they definitely were coming. About 4:45 pm on this Friday, they called and left me a message telling me they weren't coming. They called at the end of the business day to tell me that they weren't coming! Upset, but wanting to give them one more chance, I waited for a call from them to reschedule. Nothing. Four days later, I called them, and found out once again that they scheduled me a time without telling me or seeing if I could be home. I told them that I couldn't on the day that they picked for me, but I could do it on the upcoming Friday. She said she was full that day and I'd have to wait another two weeks. This company could care less about your business, therefore you shouldn't give them yours. Horrible experience and terrible service. Contrary to what another reviewer posted, I find the customer service quite good. Brenda, in particular, is always exceptionally helpful, professional, and pleasant. I also haven't had issues with the work being done. Thus, I don't have an unfavorable opinion of the company, but it can be improved. My criticism, and it's a criticism that seems to apply to nearly all lawn care companies I've used, is that some plants, shrubs, and trees require expert knowledge, especially when they appear diseased. I don't want a technician or sales person speculating on what could be done and might work. I want someone who possesses the correct education and experience to tell me what must be done to correct the problem. If diagnosing the problem requires an arborist, then dispatch an arborist. Otherwise I might as well hire Joe Blow from Craigslist. read more

New to Spokane and never has an automated sprinkler system before. They sent out there so called irrigation manager named Darren. We discussed the system for a few minutes, found a couple heads that needed to be replaced and a price for the work was agreed upon. also established that my control unit was bad so he went back to his office to get me pricing and called back later that night with a cost to repair. I agreed to that cost and they came the next morning with a new panel. I paid the guy for the service provided the day before. I then get a bill in the mail for double what I was told it would cost for the panel and install. After calling them, Darren called me back and flat out lied! told me that what I paid for on the first day was merely there "service call and no parts were included". This was a flat out LIE because we discussed the cost the day before and it was agreed upon and no mention of parts not being included was EVER mentioned. I will NEVER use these people again! In my opinion they are con artists just looking to get there foot in the door and then bill you through the roof and deny prices were ever discussed. I mean really, who in there right mind says "yeah go ahead, I don't care what it costs" Prices were discussed and they turned out to be double. I will be letting my entire neighborhood know to watch out for these guys and not do business with them. read more
