I really wanted this to be a good experience, but unfortunately, it wasn't. We contacted this…read moremobile mechanic service when our car wouldn't start, hoping for a quick fix. It was late, we were stuck in a parking garage at 10 PM with no tools, and we trusted their guidance. The mechanic started service around 4 or 5 PM and we didn't leave until 1 AM. We were charged $681 total, including $165 for a diagnostic and the cost/labor for two batteries. The mechanic mentioned we could replace the batteries ourselves to save money, but that really wasn't realistic given the situation we were in. The biggest issue was the lack of communication. For hours, there was no clear diagnostic explanation, and it wasn't until after the batteries were replaced around 10 PM that we were told the issue might be related to a computer system failure. This was not mentioned at all before we replaced the batteries, which made it feel like we were going in circles. After everything was done, we still didn't have a working car, and we were left without any real answers or codes to understand the problem. Eventually, we had to tow the car to Pep Boys, where they diagnosed and fixed the issue for just $177. We feel that this mobile service could've been more transparent and provided clearer communication throughout the process. Given the high cost and lack of results, I'm sharing this review to help others avoid the same frustrating experience. Be sure to ask for clear, up-front diagnostic information and pricing before agreeing to any services

I was, literally, 15.3 miles from their address, although I didn't know it at time. I was given an arrival time of 2 1/2 hours later, 4:25 pm, by the insurance company. At 4:15pm, these folks called me, and started asking questions. When I explained that I was off the side of the road, they asked Me to send them pictures. They then told Me that they would have to get another truck to handle it, and would let Me know when they were coming. I explained to them that I was stuck on the side of the road. At 6:35, I started texting them again to ask if they had a new ETA. No response. I called the number they had called me from earlier. No answer. I texted again 15 minutes later check if they were still coming. No response. At 7:05 pm, I called Geico again, and told them that I had been waiting on the side of the road all that time. They apologized and said they would send another company. At 7:15 they sent Me the new company's name, and by 7:50 pm the new company was there with the flatbed, and working to get My car pulled up. At 8:04pm, this company decided to start texting and calling Me to let Me know they were on their way. At 8:11pm, the driver from this company texted me they were on their way, and 15 minutes out. I texted them then and told them the insurance company had sent out another driver, and he was loading the car onto the flatbed. By the time they got there, the other operator had the car loaded up and was getting ready to head out.
