I had C & E blow out my sprinklers last fall (2022), this spring I discovered that they broke the double check value by leaving water in it. The man who came out was in a great rush to get it done and in his way. Will not use them again read more

I scheduled this sprinkler company months ago, then cancelled the day before (24 hours in advance). I just received an invoice with a cancellation fee. What?!! $55.59 to cancel? I cancelled 24 hours in advance. I recommend never using this company, especially do not schedule with them! They obviously do not know how to treat customers. read more

Had work done a few weeks ago for sprinkler repairs. I was surprised by the early appt time of 6:30 but Craig was professional and as far as I know did good work. He did not have enough time to finish all that needed to be done so I made another appt for yesterday. I was told by the secretary, Brenda, that he was starting his day at 7:30 and would be to me around 9:00. I asked for a call when he was on his way but said I wouldn't be more than a few minutes from my house. Was told that would happen. I'd been waiting since 7;30am but at 11:30 I hadn't heard from anyone so took my dog for a walk around the neighborhood with my phone feeling confident I'd get a call when he was on his way. I came back 45 minutes later to a note that they'd been here at 11:45 and left because I wasn't home, call to reschedule. There was zero apology but I rescheduled for 9/17. Just got a message this morning saying "The owner isn't happy and doesn't want to work with you so we're cancelling your appointment." Such a poor way to treat customers. I wouldn't have left to walk my dog if I hadn't been told I would get a call when they were on their way so it seems like the company's error, not mine. Or at least they could call it a "misunderstanding"...I was shocked by the response. I guess they have so much business they don't worry about treating customers poorly. ‍ read more

Please don't use this company!! We had the front sprinklers blown out but the owner was to lazy to do the back , even though he has done the back for 2 previous years. Don't waste your time or money on this company. read more

Called him because my front sprinklers would not shut off and my dogs had chewed through the wires to the timer. Same issue with scheduling.. he called a day early and said that he was on his way over. I told him no, no one was there and I had scheduled for the next day . He said a certain sprinkler valve needed to be replaced as well as others. and proceeded to start work. I had to leave the house after about an hour so I wasn't home at the time, so wasn't sure if the timer was wired up or not, but at least we could now turn the sprinklers on manually , rather than using a hose. He had told me before I left that he would have to come back that Thursday to finish the job , so I figured he had not set up the timer yet , just repaired the valves. He did not come back that Thursday , but I did receive a bill in the mail for a huge amount of money. He called a few days later and told me that he had indeed hooked the sprinklers up to the timer but had not tested it yet, and that he would be back that day. Based on his huge bill, I offered to test it .As soon as I turned the timer on manually , the same front sprinklers came on and stayed on.. the very job I had hired him to do in the first place. I called several times, and left messages. he showed up this morning , and when we went into the back yard to check it out , the very valve that he said he would replace was still there ! I pointed this out, and he became very aggressive, stating that there was no problem with the front sprinklers when he was there , so he did not replace it. I patiently waited for him to rant , and then I said that I would like a turn to tell my side. I wanted to explain that i had told him in our first conversation that they WERE a problem , and that he had told me that he was going to replace that valve. Every sprinkler valve was replaced... EXCEPT the problem one. I am thinking now that he probably just didn't have one of those valves with him , as it was different hen the others. Every time I tried to speak he would interrupt me and speak loudly over me. He was completely dismissive. I finally told him that he obviously has a problem with women, that he is disrespectful as he would not even let me finish a sentence and we had nothing else to say and asked him to leave. I am not sure why I called hi in the first place, as I see that he has so many negative reviews. This is not like me, I must have been desperate. read more

Used them for blow-out in the fall and then to replace a bunch of heads and reposition them in the Spring. He did a fantastic, thorough and very quick job. I am a woman and we got along just fine. I do not think he has an issue with woman as stated by a previous reviewer. He is very knowledgeable and polite. read more

This will be my very first one star review, ever. My wife made it clear that we would need to be home when they came to blow out the sprinklers, and that they were to call ahead to make sure. So, naturally the guy shows up a day earlier than planned, and since we were not home, he was unable to blow out the front yard sprinklers. Of course he left us a bill for the full amount. Then, on attempt number two, did he call ahead? NO! He says he's too busy to be bothered with such things. He just shows up, when we are not home. He then does nothing because we are not there to open the front basement window so that he can hook into the connection that I have there. After doing nothing, he then leaves us another bill. When I called to let them know that I will not be paying for their mistake, the lady on the phone was pretty much blaming us for the problem, even though she admits that we told them to call ahead. She states that they are busy, and don't have time to call ahead. She then stated that she did not have time to argue with me about it, so I said goodbye and hung up. We will not be back, and neither will anyone we know. The guy we used for the previous nine years has retired. He will be missed. He never had a problem, and we had no idea how lucky we were to have him, until we had to find another company. read more

Would not recommend using this business. They are not reliable. We used them last year and had some billing issues that we were able to resolve. I thought I would give them another chance this year. Big mistake. They cancelled an appointment made a month in advance for a blowout of a large (and expensive) irrigation system two days prior to the scheduled appointment and a hard freeze in the forecast. When I attempted to reach them for an explanation, I could not get a call back. A few days later I made another attempt that went straight to voicemail, so I called with a different phone and the receptionist picked up... They were screening my call!!! I asked the receptionist to put me in touch with the owner and he did apologize and told that his equipment had broken down. I asked if he only had one piece of equipment and he said "Yes." I asked if he wanted to lose my business or if he wanted an opportunity to make it right... He hung up on me. I guess he made his choice. read more

I have only used them because they installed the system at my home before I purchased - the first blow-out was fine. I had a landscaper come in and tell me how backwards everything was. I got another opinion and same deal. Last winter they did they blowout and left standing water in my garage, and left an unused valve/station open so when the new turn-on time came around it just blew water around. DO yourself a favor...use another company! read more
