I've been coming here since 2013 so this place has seen 3 of my 4 vehicles. Usually once I'm out of the warranty period at Mercedes I will start over here again without my needs. My car usually have a Gold Start Carfax Maintenance record. Never had an issue ever, and I'm driving on 160,000 miles on a GL so that should tell you something. I keep my cars long, and I take good care of them, and between Greenway and C&G I have never been let down. Services times are fast, never much of a wait. If you are waiting, there is bottled water and candy in the sitting area. Restroom is clean. They break things down for you and give you a chance to make a decision. Most times they will quote you over the phone. The receptionists are always kind and courteous. Most importantly you save your coins, what else can I say?? Needed an A1 service for my car so I called a few car shops in the Houston area. Upon request, I was provided with a quote and was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. The service was only $165 total (very competitive to the other places that I've called) and it was done less than 1.5hrs. We just dropped off the car, went out to have lunch, and the car was done. I had the worst vehicle repair experience ever at C&G Auto Repairs after driving for over 38 years. In November of 2024, I took my vehicle in so that they could address reported issues with the turbo and sludge deposits in the engine. After a couple of weeks, initial diagnosis was given to me even though Yuri had emphasized that he does not have the capability to properly diagnose the issues and that I should take it to Mercedes Benz of Sugarland for diagnosis and then return the vehicle back to the shop. I made the required deposit and was told that the vehicle will be ready before Thanksgiving. The vehicle was completed on the 3rd week of January with no proper follow-up or explanation for the delays. When I tried to follow up, Yuri got so angry and acted so rudely. He insinuated that he was doing me a favor and ignored the fact that I paid over $9,000 for the job. The mechanic does a very decent job, but the front office should do better with customer service and, assure customers that they are honest and will do what they say and, not inflate invoices. I called in to make an appointment to bring in my Mercedes to replace the rotors which was making my car shake when I brake . It was suggested that I replace the brake pads as well. I authorized the repair because it made perfect since. I authorized the the additional expense. I called first thing in the morning to bring my car in and they said the parts had not arrived yet. I waited and took it in later in the morning. I got my car back and I was surprised that the car was still shaking. I looked at the invoice and they had replaced the wrong pads and rotors. I called and left a message to the fact of of course never got a return call. I called them and they said the receptionist that received the phone call said " thought she heard me say rear rotors". I said "No, Did the mechanic even check to see if the parts he was replacing was defective?" the reply was "It was on the invoice". it was your responsibility to make to catch mistake". I asked again, "She made a mistake and it was my responsibility to catch it?" "Yes sir you authorized the invoice." As professionals, I expected them to do their job and at least call me to say, the rear rotors are not defective, but the front are. As professionals I expected more that "It was my responsibility to catch her mistake". read more

I have been taking my car to C&G over 9-10 years. I enjoyed dealing with Craig and then Victor. Both are now deceased and now an in experienced receptionist is handling the business. She is rude and inexperienced. She told me I could take my car elsewhere. I was told I had a small leak in my engine. In February 2021, my car warranty paid for a leak. She said she had no knowledge of this. My warranty company sent me a copy of the work that was done. I told her I had a copy and then emailed it. I dropped my car off. I then received a call stating that it was a different leak and it would be $892 just for labor. I picked up my car and asked for the name of the owner and how I could get in touch with him. She refused to give me the information. She is running clients away because of her ugly attitude. I loved taking my car to C&G and so did my friends. We are all looking for other places to take our Mercedes. I still don't know who the owner is in order to express my concerns. read more

Funny people...or a better way to say it is... a special kind of stupid. First they quote me for a 3 hour job, that has taken other mechanics an hour an a half, (as I have had numerous of these old benz with the same issue). I decline and say I just want the car's idle adjusted, which was said to be an hour, and I agree, but then the secretary brings me back my keys and says it will be 2 hours (when she first said an hour) and that it's ok, that they dont want to work on my benz. She then had a comment along the lines of "If a man such as yourself knows so much about this car, why dont you fix it yourself". Like I said, a special kind of stupid going on here. If I felt like working on the car and had the time to I would. I believe the better question to ask is why does a secretary have this kind of response. Perhaps she isnt paid enough, I mean her job consists of typing a name on a computer, answering the phone, and talking to the mechanics. What a high level to have reached in life, her job suites her. One step up above working at McDonald's. Lol read more
