Logan Airport and C&J Bus to Dover, N.H. Traveling mid-December 2025 from DCA to Dover, New Hampshire, I opted to use C&J for express bus transit from Boston to and from Dover. I had booked an 11 a.m. bus out of BOS, and upon landing I had no trouble finding the right bus stop for C&J. The stop was well marked, is shared by about eight bus lines, and each bus proved to be efficient when boarding and disembarking passengers with luggage stored underneath. Here's my note to the airport: It's cold in December in Boston. The shelter for the bus stop had a heater affixed to the top of the bus stop; and the heater had a 30-minute timer. Unfortunately, the heater did not work. Brrrr. My flight from DCA arrived early, allowing me to see if I could board the bus that departed some 40 minutes before my ticketed bus. No dice. The driver politely explained that I needed to wait at the bus stop until the ticketed bus arrived. I'm not sure why - about 15 passengers had just disembarked his bus, and my stop was the last stop of the route to leave the airport, so chances were good there would be space on this bus. Further, upon returning from Dover to BOS, the C&J driver who arrived for a trip that was scheduled to depart before my ticketed departure actively welcomed me to board her bus, even though it meant taking a bus that departed about an hour before my ticketed bus. Once aboard, the trips to and from the airport were great. Comfortable seating, comfortable temperatures, and flawless operation by the drivers. Great price (round trip BOS to Dover was $56), and an excellent alternative to driving, renting a car, or using Amtrak to get from Boston to Dover. read more

Used to be a great local bus company with good customer service. Now, they charge for ALL parking and are making money hand over fist. They used to bring an extra bus along if there was a weather event and flights were delayed. Now, if the bus is filled up you are just out of luck, too bad. And, if it's a late bus then the next one will be sold out or not until 5 a.m. They left dozens of frozen people at the curb this weekend and I had to lose my ticket money and pay $225 to get home. Next time just pay a few dollars more for a gig driver to give you door to door service. Too bad. read more

I use C&J all the time when I fly into Logan airport to get up to Portsmouth. Logan airport is mad crazy & I hate to ask any of my friends or family to come pick me up. These bus drivers know how to handle the big rigs & maneuver thru the crazy mass traffic. I actually pretty much ate the seat in front of me when I was riding a morning bus into portsmouth. Ooops I forgot to put my seatbelt on & someone decided to be a masshole & pull out in front of us. Thank God the female driver was on the ball & saved us. I LOVE the fact that they don't allow anyone to talk on their cell phone during the bus ride. I have overheard some people here & there sneaking in a phone call. Shame on you guys for being disrespect to the bus driver & others around you. Your nice, long chatty convo can wait. The buses have always been clean, they even have small bottles of water for free along with FREE Wifi but I find it messes with my cell phone @ times so I have to shut it off. There is a bathroom you can use way in the back but man talk about trying to squat over the toilet, hang on & don't fall in!! It's harder than you think....lol Luckily I don't have to use the bathroom on most trips. Don't be late, these buses pretty much leave on time. From experience the bus picking you up @ Logan airport may run a couple minutes late. I fly Jetblue so I get to be @ the second to last pickup spot so I get a couple extra minutes. When I take off out of Portsmouth they are there on time & leave once everyone is on the bus. So please don't think you have a few minutes to spare becasue you will find the bus is long gone. Something new C&J is doing now is having you pre-book your ticket whereas before you could just pay for your ticket once you got off at your stop after leaving your ID with them. You get a letter tag for all luggage you have stored underneath that helps separate which bags the driver needs to pull out on each stop. These chic's are pretty strong because I sure can pack a heavy suitcase...I'm always over my 50pd airport limit so people please TIP these drivers!!! A dollar a bag is always a good start, if you think they did an phenomenal job then give them more money!!!! What do you need to remember to do on your next trip??????? TIP YOUR DRIVERS PLEASE!!!! C&J - Buses Near Me - Seabrook, New Hampshire

Money, money, money- that's all they want! This used to be a good service when they were still in Newburyport, but once they moved to NH.....CHA-CHING!! They keep raising the bus price - and now there isn't even a discount for purchasing a round trip ticket. You pay for 2 one-way fares! And the parking used to be free....then 1 dollar a day, then 2, then 3, and now it's FOUR dollars a day! And all that happened in just a couple of years. GREED! I know it doesn't sound like much, but it adds up....especially when they keep on raising it! Before too long, it will be a significant expense. I used to use this service many times a year, but now I take an Uber instead. For any trip more than just a few days, the parking fee makes it so it's a better value to take an Uber or Lyft! AND, you go door-to-door AND don't have to be on the bus' schedule. No need to wait around up to an hour at the airport after a tiring trip! What a disappointment they've become..... read more

If I had a nickel for the amount of times my boyfriend has tried to use the c and j from Boston to Portsmouth and a bus has not shown up for its scheduled trip, i would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's annoying that it's happened twice now. No refund or voucher offered- just hours of being led on so no other transportation could be planned until it was too late to change plans. We will not be using the c and j bus anymore if I can be helped. read more

I've been using their bus line for years. The old Newburyport location had free parking but now it's $3 a day, hence the 4 star over a 5 star rating. I know many took advantage and abused the free parking before so I get the fee. However, customers using the service regularly should receive a discounted rate. I'm sure they won't be changing the policy over this post especially since the lot is mostly filled and people are paying the rate. Otherwise, a nice clean bus service to Logan Airport, South Station, and they even go to NYC as well. Not many other options for people in the area but still beats paying parking rates in Boston or NYC. read more

My husband and I have been using C&J bus service from Portsmouth to Logan for a number of years and have been very happy with the whole process, until today. The young woman at the service desk in the Portsmouth location was extremely rude, for no reason whatsoever. She couldn't be bothered to wait on me as she was busy socializing with a co-worker. When I asked for help she rolled her eyes and was snappy throughout the process, extremely unprofessional. I don't have high expectations for people going above and beyond in their jobs but this was the other extreme. This is the reason for the 3 star review. Up until today it was a 5! read more

Loved this bus resource for years but I've never had to ask for anything before while using this service. Drivers are amazing! However, for the first time I very nicely asked the lady greeting everybody off the bus in seabrook if there was bottled water or a bubbler avail in the building during a stopover. She said no because of Covid. Seriously. Even a drink vending machine would have been nice or a quick bubbler but she also added that the driver wouldn't wait anyway. So, lesson learned - refill your water at the airport. Please bring back kindness if someone is feeling dehydrated. I realize that was my fault for not thinking ahead but dizziness isn't great on a bus and I feel like it would have been kind to have some help. read more

Seabrook NH Location - Bus ride was okay but, be careful leaving your car in their parking lot. Someone didn't like the personal touches to my car and proceeded to stomp and bend my drivers side tailpipe down. C&J takes no responsibility in their own camera footage and will expect you to contact the police and do all the leg work to go after the perpetrator. Very poor ownership, especially when they charge you $21 to park for a week. I will NEVER do it again! read more
