The low reviews make absolutely no sense. I've lived in DC and NYC and have taken the various Chinatown buses to Boston and then connect to C&J to get to New Hampshire. The difference is night and day. C&J has the friendliest drivers (shout out to Tasha, who could not be more pleasant and was an excellent driver as well), dependable wifi, comfortable seats, punctual, etc. Highly recommend C&J A+++++ read more

Fast and hassle free trip to Logan from the seacoast. Clean. Really skilled driver as we had a monsoon at night but he deftly guided us home. Great value for travel and they go to South station and NYC. Can't go wrong. Be smart and just go CJ. Logan express could learn from this company. Yeah if you going to tell customers to silence their phones. Then what the point of that if you allow a group of people chatting very vocally that the whole bus can hear them. They need to tell the people to keep their voices down. We paid a lot of money to ride on these buses. We like peace and quiet too. Seriously. I had to move but my poor mom didn't want to but have to endure these loud mouth bitches ( male and females ). She liked to take a nap but can't because they are speaking loud. A frequent passenger of C&J, comes to visit me in New Orleans regularly. He assists me at home and my work once a month. I rely on this monthly assistance to function and he has proven to be the only person I can fully trust for help. We really liked C&J because they've always provided a cost effective and safe ride on his way to the Logan airport to come and assist me. On April 12th 2025, a driver on bus #1902 a driver named Mitch kicked him off the bus. The driver was SKIPPING STOPS at the airport, which is wrong. This is something that never happened on any previous C&J ride. When he noticed his stop was passed up at the airport and he confronted Mitch, he was berated, yelled at and kicked off the bus. When he got kicked off , it wasn't near a terminal, it was at the side of the road!! It resulted in alot of stress on his behalf, frustration and feeling incredibly unsafe. He almost missed his flight due to this incident. He now feels unsafe and unsettled in using the bus, which he has relied upon for years, to come to the Logan Airport. I'm writing this because it not only affects his life, but mine. He's sent two emails to C&J about the incident, I've sent one too. His second email got no response and my email got none as well. He called and got a very vague, unsatisfying response about the incident and was only offered a refund for his ticket. He has been told he'll get a call back from the management and that hasn't happened. Do you think this is acceptable C&J? Having drivers get irate and extremely unprofessional with passengers after they're confronted on a mistake they've made, a mistake that could make them miss their flight? I've taken C&J's bus service to/from Boston, MA & Portsmouth, NH on a few occasions. The service is fine. What irks me is they no longer have anyone manning the ticket counter in Boston. This means you have to buy tickets online. This is difficult for me as I have low vision. I asked the person who mans their ticket counter in Portsmouth and was told it's because the rent in Boston was too high. This seems odd since the other bus lines had people at their ticket counters. read more

This service is great. Really good service, everyone is happy and seems friendly. But my thing I don't like, is that used to have a shuffle service that would pick you up from the other parking lots and would drop you off where the bus starts the journey to the airport, or city. I want to know why they don't have the Shuffle service anymore. That made it really easy for people parking and getting dropped after coming back from your trip read more

The daily parking rate is far too high and at timesforced me to choose other travel options. The rate should be frozen at $2/day. I've been taking C&J for over ten years, most recently from Seabrook to Logan round trip at least once a month. I know the route well. On April 12, the driver stopped at terminals and asked if anyone needed to get off, skipping them if no one responded. I had my AirPods in and missed that he was skipping stops. He skipped mine (Terminal C), and when he realized I was still on board, he started yelling. I took out my headphones and came to the front. He was clearly angry, saying he just wanted to go home and that no one listens. When I questioned him about skipping stops, he admitted to it, and when I said, "So you lied," he got more aggressive. I told him to just take me to my stop. Instead, he pulled over at a random location, not even at a terminal, and told me to get off. When I refused, he threatened to call the state police. I got off the bus, completely stunned, and had to ask airport staff and police for help finding my gate. I almost missed my flight. I contacted C&J twice by phone and twice by email. I only got one reply: an apology, a $26 refund, and nothing else. When I asked for assurance I wouldn't be placed with that driver again, they stopped responding. I called again and was told it was "an internal matter," and that if I didn't feel safe, I should "find alternatives." That's how they treat regular riders. No follow-up, no care for passenger safety, no accountability. I wasn't asking for anything extreme -- just not to be placed with the same driver who yelled at me, threatened me, and kicked me off the bus. They wouldn't even respond. Now I'm left either taking an Uber to and from Logan or hoping I don't get picked up by the same driver again, because C&J refuses to offer even basic reassurance that their employees will act responsibly. People deserve to know how this company handles serious issues. I expected better. read more

I think the buses are great, they are clean and on time. However the actual terminal that you depart from is why this is only 2 stars. I arrived at 7am on a Friday and all parking lots were full, Including overflow. The bus wasn't full! I had to valet my car for $25 and everyone else on the bus had to do that also. It feels like very little incentive to have parking when you can just make everyone default to valet. The busses don't have any foot pedals, they do have outlets at each. read more

In the past I thought this service was great! This morning not so much! I'm so mad I may not use them again! We came out of the terminal and there was a C & J bus right there. We go and ask the driver where do we grab the bus since his sign said drop off only. He says oh it's just around the corner. A 15 minute hike later carrying our heavy luggage to the next terminal over after a red eye there he sits in his bus. Instead of being a decent human being and dropping us off at the pick up stop he was ALREADY HEADED TO! He made us walk. I was using c and J to make my life easier. This company had the opportunity to do the right thing and didn't! Pretty gross! So if you want to hike from terminal to terminal this is the bus for you! I'm surprised it's a few miles outside of Portsmouth, but the location does allow for lots of parking space and a nice, clean, large, terminal. Our friend rode here from JFK. Flawless transportation service, from the ticket counter to boarding to arrival. The entry and ticket desk were immaculately clean. We came a few days before the ride to Logan to buy tickets & get everything squared away. The agent could not have been more pleasant, joking around with my guy as we were bemused that they'd charge for the cat - but not little kids. The bus was clean, the ride was pleasant and quick with one brief stop midway on the route. We were dropped off right at the Delta Terminal. Adult tix are $24; kids 12 & under, free; pets $15 each. The bus driver was cheery and so pleasant. I wish I'd gotten his name& tipped him. It seemed like an oversight, especially during the holiday. (Will fix this soon!) read more

There's no parking available here. The lots are all full but there are no passengers in the terminal or the buses. I asked them where I'm supposed to part and they suggested I go to a lot a mile away and walk back. It's 22° F and the road is covered in snow. I don't get how they're staying in business. If you plan on using them, get a ride there. read more

Like most things post-COVID - this once exceptional service has gone downhill. I've now been stranded twice at the airport because the bus was full. Unlike in the past when C&J would always deploy a backup bus for overflow - they've now discontinued this practice. Now you'll just have to hope and pray that you'll get a seat - lest your bus trip/delay be longer and more grueling than your actual flight. This is reflected in the general chaos and panic that customers now have knowing this - rudely elbowing their way into line to try and not get stranded and wait hours for a vacant bus. To make matters worse: the drivers are pretty callous about it. They just shrug and say, "we are full - better luck with the next bus" -- "luck" is the correct term to use as you're rolling the dice for an on-time schedule. Other signs of slacking business practice: it's been two years and they still haven't resumed the water service - let alone the coffee service. One could certainly understand discontinuing at the onset of the pandemic - but now it's just an excuse to cut costs (while raising prices) and not provide the warmth of service that customers have become accustomed to. I used to love C&J but it's a shell of its former glory. Sad to say I'll be arranging for stress-free service to/from Logan elsewhere. read more

I have been commuting for the past few days using C&J from Seabrook to Boston. I appreciate the Wi-Fi and not having to drive my vehicle into the city. However, the seats are pretty narrow, and there are no tray tables which makes using a laptop challenging. The primary reason I am writing this review is to point out that the times listed on their website for the morning trips are not accurate to the time the trip takes. The 7:25 bus out of Seabrook lists 8:30 as the arrival time to South station, where the times I have taken this route, we arrive closer to 9:15, 45 minutes longer than listed. Traffic in Boston is nothing new, so hopefully, C&J can update their website to reflect more accurate commute times. read more

Took bud from Seabrook to Logan airport with my husband. It was our first time using this service. 5 stars all around! The bus terminal was spotless, rest rooms also very clean. The clerk was very friendly and able to multitask, keeping the line moving quickly. Finally, the bus driver was timely, and he handled our luggage with care. The bus itself was extremely clean, inside and out. This is our new go-to for travel to Logan. read more

A very pleasant experience to travel from Boston International to Portsmouth NH. Bus was very clean, driver was very pleasant.

I was a big fan of this service, but since COVID they have really become rigid on their refund and rescheduling policies. They also require reservations. Beware that if you can't take your scheduled bus for any reason and don't reschedule to take the trip within 48 hours, you lose the total value of the ticket. No refunds! Their last service out of Logan is at 12:40am, so they really don't service the last flights. If your flight gets delayed for any reason, or your luggage comes out slowly, you're out of luck. It has happened to me twice and I've been left with only Lyft or Uber options. AND obviously I no longer need the bus ticket. But they won't budge...so unnecessary. They used to be so reasonable and now they have all these money grab 'gotchas' in place. I hope there is competition for the route soon. I will wait until the last minute to get my ticket, if I ever use them again. read more

I had a recent flight out of Logan Airport, so I decided C&J would be my best option. I booked about a month in advance, and ordered a ticket online. On the day of my trip, I arrived about 40 minutes before our scheduled departure of 7 am. I was leaving from the Portsmouth terminal. The terminal was super clean, and offered a fair amount of seating. The lady working at the desk was super kind, and helped me get my bag tags needed for my checked luggage. The bus boarded about 10 minutes before 7 am. Easy process, the driver sorts the luggage based on which terminal you're departing Logan from. We left at 7 am on the dot. We had a stop over in Seabrook at their terminal there. I'd say we were there maybe 5 minutes before we were back on the road. The drive was relaxing. I used their usb charging port to make sure my cellphone was fully charged before my flight. We arrived in Boston at about 8:25 am. We made stops at each terminal at Logan. I was getting off at terminal C for my JetBlue flight. The driver would come over the speaker and tell you exactly where to go once you got inside which was super helpful. I am plus size, and found that the seats on the bus were fairly comfortable. I was able to put my larger checked luggage on the underneath area of the bus, my carry on bag fit in the overhead bin, and my personal item (a smaller backpack) beside me. The bus was very clean as well. All in all I had a great experience on C&J and would highly recommend them. read more

C & J has contributed to making parking at Portsmouth nightmare during school vacations and around holidays. They need to permanently re-open their bus service and parking in Dover, NH so that Dover area people are not competing for parking spaces in Portsmouth. Many of their amenities like free coffee and newspapers were dropped during COVID never to return. They also now force you to buy tickets on-line in advance and have removed the ticket kiosk from the Portsmouth terminal. They would rather sell $25 valet parking in Portsmouth or make you pay for parking at their lot in Seabrook, NH than pay their bus drivers enough to re-open service to Dover. We are flying out of Portland and Manchester more since their decline in service. read more

The C and J bus service has gone downhill since Covid. The bus drivers are also extremely rude. My mother had a paid ticket for the 2:10 pm shuttle, from Logan, however, her luggage was late so she had to wait for the next bus at 3:10. The bus driver at 3:10 informed her that the bus was full and to go to terminal E for the next bus.  At this time we tried to switch her ticket to 4:10, but we were unable to switch because that bus was full.  She ultimately got on the 4:40 shuttle which arrived 20 mins late at 5:00 pm. This is the third time since Jan my family has experienced full shuttles at the airport and had to wait hours to get on a bus.  At this point, the shuttle homes are taking longer than the actual flights. This never happened pre covid.  Closing the Dover route to Logan has also caused parking in Portsmouth to be a nightmare.  From now I'm going to avoid Logan and C, & J altogether. read more
