Well since the day I've posted this review I have regretted it. They have now taken close to $60 grand and nothing more has been done. They never got permits approved we recently found out. They have "no-showed" 3 appointments and now refuse to give me my money back. Police report filed, consumer complaint filed and now my family suffers because we not only lost 60 grand but now we have to try to figure this out ourselves. Do NOT give your money to these people. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. They essentially abandoned the job, been after them for months to finish the work and they can't even come up with a plan. They left the basement a mess and left a bunch of trash in our driveway. Their subcontractor tracked down my wife looking for money claiming he hadn't been paid and they are unable to account for the money I gave them and won't refund it. The work that was done was horrible and not to code; no tape on drywall joints, corners cut everywhere. I am now paying a new contractor to rip it out and start over. So I am out $50k with nothing to show for it. Again, do not give these people 1 cent. read more

We had set up an appointment to have our kitchen remodel quoted and they had to reschedule, which is understandable sometimes, but they never showed up for the second appointment. In my opinion, that is a sign that the company can't be trusted to stay on schedule. read more

They took 9100.00-dollar check and blew me off for months full of lies. I sent a formal letter to them for full deposit return to me. They lied over and over again and finally agreed to pay me back. Sorry checks in the mail, 3 times. Now it's been 7 months and I have to take them to court and file criminal charges against them. Iy has been hell and I am 75 years old. read more

Our house flooded in April. We hired C&K to do reconstruction (recommended on Angi's list). After beginning work,they doubled the price. They didn't show up at all several days and when they did, it was obvious they did not know what they were doing. We offered to pay for the work completed and find someone else. They threatened to put a lien on our house. There is more to this story, but you get the idea. These people are scammers.
