We recently had a pretty sizable project we were considering. I called Ben and left a voice mail…read more I barely finished leaving the message and Ben returned my call. Ben came by and looked over the project and gave me his assessment of the situation. I found Ben to be very honest and straightforward. Over the next week Ben and I exchanged emails discussing the particulars of the project. Ben provided his analysis and was collaborative. Ben works by himself and in the end I just felt like it would take multiple people to accomplish in a single day what I felt was needed. However, I was so comfortable dealing with Ben, if I come up with any other smaller projects, I will definitely contact Ben.

Quality company…read more We hired Vincent Abell Contracting to put in a large covered deck for us, then hired them back for a shower install the next year. I have worked with several contractors before on this and previous homes. I apparently have high standards few can meet. These guys were really good. Nothing is perfect, but they sure tried to be. My deck is gorgeous and solid. Everything it should be. They were flexible and helpful and professional. They also provided and architect to design the deck to meet our needs. I had some concerns after the build was done and they were paid (not saying they did anything wrong, but some things I would have liked to have been done differently). They bent over backwards after the fact (and after they were already paid) to make us happy. Including spending more time and materials on my project. I would literally use these guys for anything they would want to do for me. Great experience. Also, their quotes were either in line or less expensive than others for the deck project. Definitely earned five stars.
