Jose and Francisco work diligently in trying to retrieve it using a metal hanger, Retractable Claw Retriever Stick, Snake & Cable Aid also pouring hot water, vinegar and baking soda, CLR, and WD-40 but to no avail it was stuck. So the only way to get to it was to open the back of the wall which they did cut the pipe retrieve the plug and snake the pipe due to clogging issues but the water was not going down so Jose went outside to my backyard to look at the pipes and realize he needed to re-route the snake from up to down and that did trick. We admired it for like several minutes! Those new shiny copper pipes So the new tankless water heater was of course a little bit more expensive but the heating happens almost instantly, it happens more gradually, in a pleasant way, and we are saving already on the water and gas, and also we have saved space and now we installed the vacuum cleaner charging unit in the same closet and we can put other long cleaning supplies there. I think this review explains a lot about the beauty and efficiency of the tankless water heater, but the guys were so amazingly efficient and good and kind and relentless at finishing a huge amount of work in the same day-- and just accepted the geometry of our old house They were proud of their work in a good way -- it was important for them to do a thorough job no matter what. When I tried to explain my concerns and offered to show them the site over FaceTime to save them a trip, they just blocked me. Maybe they do great plumbing work. I don't know. But certainly, customer service is lacking. Max re-routed everything so it actually makes sense now, hid the kitchen lines behind the wall, and moved the main water lines to the laundry room. The bathroom remodel he did on top of that looks amazing too. Few things that stood out were he shows up when he says he will, works fast without cutting corners, and only takes on one job at a time so you're not competing for his attention. He also knows the SF permit/inspection process really well, which saved me money and a lot of stress. He's not just a plumber either, when I needed a 106-year-old staircase rebuilt with electrical work integrated, he handled it himself for way less than two separate electricians quoted me. Honestly one of the best contractors I've worked with. Highly recommend if you want it done right the first time.
