Mo came by, took a look and determined that a section of pipe under the house was clogged from years of buildup and rust. Since my dad is older and sometimes has a harder time understanding all the details, he gave Mo my number so he could explain everything to me. He took the time to walk me through the problem, gave us both short term and long term options, and his prices were very fair. He answered my questions and even sent me pictures from inside the pipes so I could see exactly what was going on. He showed up as scheduled, made all the necessary repairs and even took care of a couple of extra small things he noticed while he had the pipes down without charging us more. When you have an elderly parent still living on their own, you worry about people taking advantage of them. Mo really took good care of my dad and went out of his way to keep me informed with calls, texts, and pictures of the finished work. I live overseas and am 10 hours ahead, and he even made an effort to work around the time difference. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing my dad was being treated fairly and looked after. Mariano Lemus communicates well by both text and phone and was always responsive throughout the process. Visit #1 involved removing bathroom sink faucets so I could have my countertop repaired. During that same visit, Francisco evaluated a leaking shower valve in my guest bathroom. He explained that because of the age of the valve, there was a possibility the wall might need to be opened and the entire valve assembly replaced. However, he first wanted to try replacing the shower cartridges. On visit #2, the bathroom sink faucets were replaced, and Francisco successfully replaced both shower cartridges entirely from the shower side of the wall -- saving me thousands of dollars by avoiding the need to open the wall and replace the entire valve assembly. Visit #3 involved replacing a cartridge in an existing ROHL shower valve. Again, there was concern that if the old cartridge could not be properly removed, it might require opening the wall and removing tile to replace the valve. Mariano and Francisco were able to complete the repair successfully, replace the old cartridge, and now the shower works perfectly. I'm a retired construction superintendent/OSHPD inspector, so I understand construction means and methods and have a very critical eye for workmanship and attention to detail. Lemus Plumbing has experienced technicians who clearly know their trade and take pride in doing things the right way. They are knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and simply excellent plumbers. I had the team a Lemus come out to correct the installation of my Navien hot water heater. The team at Lemus was able to add the valve and match the appearance of the other plumbers, so I didn't have a Frankenstein monster of a plumbing fixture in my garage. They were very respectful of the property. I couldn't tell they were in my garage at first glance, until I saw the new valve. They also reset a toilet that our floor installer did not seat, and sent photos of the process. I finally have "my plumbing guy".
