Horrible & Rude Liars, I had to have my SUV towed from Braintree to Canton and my shop recommended them to tow. I called and told the man that my SUV was parked on the top floor at Braintree Harvard Vanguard and that it was pulled into a spot front first. He cut me off and said $125.00 from Braintree. I asked if that is the total cost and he said yes. I talked to my garage and they tell me they paid $160.00 to C & L Towing based on an invoice given to them. I then called C & L and at first I was told that if I was charged more it was from the garage and not them. Once I reminded him of the details of the tow he told me that the extra charge is because his driver ha to push the vehicle out of the spot approximately 10 feet. After he continued to cut me off and be rude, he said he will contact the garage and explain to them the situation. I contacted the garage and they told me not to worry about the extra charge because they recommended I call them for the tow. The experience from the first two minutes of the conversation for extremely unprofessional and rude. I also caught him lying and reversing stories. It isn't really about the extra $35.00 charge. It is about being a decent business professional. Had I been contacted and had the situation explained to me in a business manner it may have been a "no problem" situation. this was no the case and shows me this is a non professional business and the man I spoke with at C & L is a unprofessional & rude person. Got my car towed from my apartment complex and they were very helpful when I called over the phone. When I got there the staff was great and the manager was very professional. We had a tiny problem with registration but we got it fixed and the manger even pulled the car out of the lot for me. Very glad they were professional and not like those towing shows! They were just doing their job and I understand that. Thank you!! read more

Worst experience ever!!!! Just like the previous post, I too called my roadside assistance when I got a flat tire. They informed me that C & L Towing would be there to fix it in an hour. I figured "no problem, an hour seems fair". Turns out it took these clowns 2 and a half hours to get to me from the next town over! The driver shows up and assumes that it's okay to conduct a profanity-laced conversation with me, then I had to show the driver how to remove the spare tire so he could change it!!! Unbelievable! I informed my roadside assistance that I NEVER want to be "assisted" by this company again. Do yourself a favor, if you're ever in need of a tow, gas, or need a flat fixed... call someone other than this place! read more

Worst tow company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Driver was extremely unprofessional and rude to boot. He used an extremely offensive word in my presence and was not careful in the least with my vehicle. PLEASE READ ..... This is a HORRIBLE tow company!!!!! They managed to offend all of us when they came to tow our car. My husband told the driver that he wanted the car towed to Sunoco on union street, and the driver made the rudest comments about the garage we wanted the car to be towed to. Hey you big fat JERK .... The owner of that Sunoco station is a very very very close personal friend of ours who happens to have a very busy lot simply because Kosta is a GREAT mechanic who will NOT take advantage of anyone by jacking the price too high! The garage you wanted to take our car to is someone we also know who DOES take advantage of people ... THIS IS FACT because GEORGE the owner has taken advantage of several people in our family over the years! Just so you JERKS know, I have called AAA and filed a complaint in regards to your rude drivers! A lesson for your employees to learn .... Your drivers need to keep their mouths shut and their opinions to themselves! People want their cars to be towed to where THEY WANT not to hear your opinions about where you THINK our cars should be towed! read more

Where's the zero stars button? SAD to see this place is still operating under the same type of management and reviews back to 2014.. and however long they've been in business. Got sent C&L from a AAA call. And as always they are always fast and come right away. The driver Glenn that showed up was professional, courteous, and friendly. This 1 star isn't for him. It's for the guy who thinks he's a big shot Charlie or wanna be Dr.Phil I should say. I called the office because the driver was told to leave because I didn't have the AAA card on me. How unprofessional. When I called pissed off, Charlie told me to call for another request through AAA. Again, as if anyone has time when their keys are locked in the car and has things to do. He told me I sound "stressed" and to "rub my temples". He was obviously looking to be put in his place! Looks like its time for a career change Charlie. He also said when I asked this is why you guys have like 1 star review on Yelp, he said yea because of people like you. Wake up and smell the coffee Charlie boy, its not us, its YOU. I had an AWFUL TERRIBLE experience with this company. I asked the tow truck driver for the dealership number which he gave me and I told him I am going in the car to talk to the dealership b/c I could not hear outside. The next thing I know HE LEFT!!! I called AAA when my car broke down on a friday evening and someone from C & L were there really fast. He even helped me get a rental just as Enterprise closed. I was stuck on a day when it was 4 degrees with a wind chill below 0 with a dead battery and my window down. I was told that C&L would be to my location in an hour and a half. I called them to see if there was anyway they could make it any earlier and tried to explain my situation but the dispatcher interrupted me and said that was the best they could do and hung up on me. After the time they were suppose to be there I called again and was told they were right down the street and would be there shortly. Forty five minutes later, I called again and was told they had got tied up with an accident and would be there in a half hour. Not believing this I started calling other places and found Express Towing in Braintree who said they could be there within a half hour. Express showed in twenty minutes and gave me a jump start and I was on my way. Did C&L ever show, my guess is no. Bottom line is I waited for them for over three hours and never saw them. never use this shiest-er. they have inexperienced and untruthful employees that don't admit to damage they cause. when i picked up my car the ignition wouldn't turn and the transmission was froze. the tow boy forced the shifter (with both hands) into neutral and ruined the linkage. then told me that's the way it was when they got it. the owner accused me of being a lier and cheat then told me to "get out; this conversations over." i know their tow boy didn't take it out of park before he winched onto the flat bed. if the owner (drives a mercedes s.u.v) was honest and helpful; i would have been ok with it. read more
