It's a 2 year old vehicle and my issue was a mystery to these guys. I'm going to buy another Outback but not here. These guys incorrectly installed new front brakes on my wife's GLK when we had it in for service…read morelast May. After months of trying to chase down unusual noises during cornering and braking, I finally figured out the problem with the help of another mechanic. The inside pads were installed on one side of the vehicle and the outside pads were installed on the other side. Unfortunately, it meant another brake job, because several months had passed and the pads wore unevenly and damaged the rotors in the process. I've done a lot of reading on the subject, and apparently the problem of incorrectly installed brakes is not all that uncommon; however, I just expect better considering the cost involved. This shop has lost my trust and I won't be returning for any additional work.
