This Garden center was huge and made us feel that we were out on a farm in Amish Country. The whole Garden Center sits on a 1.2 to 1.5 or 57,000 square foot plot selling hard to find items that one would never see at Home Depot nor Lowes. *Large Parking Lot *The grounds clean, shelf items organized, cashiers eager to help you. Main building open and airy with a huge skylight allowing for plenty of natural lighting. *Property consists of 4 main buildings each dedicated to their own service of sales. Even though our purchase was small and our stay was brief, this Garden Center actually made for a lasting impression of quality on us. They don't swap out your tank, only fill the ones that you bring, which I love considering I purchased new tanks when I moved into the neighborhood.

Brian gave me a quote ($500 for 300 sq ft of sod), made some some sod recommendations (fescue), and in general it was a smooth, pleasant convo. However, the driver arrived 1.5hr AHEAD of schedule. This wasn't ideal, as I had errands to run... and then I was charged $540 vs $500 as was discussed. There was no heads up about this. Again, I'm impressed with the initial communication and the quick turnaround, but you can't add an 8% price increase without letting me know about it in advance. I wanted to support a local biz, this price was now closer to Home Depot eliminating the savings. Just something to be mindful of, when working with Oceanside Nursery.
