A beautiful piece of furniture in my house was torn up by my adorable young kitten (she apparently…read morethought it was a scratch pad) so I did my research as always and I was so happy to find Ignacio at I & A Quality Upholstery. I ordered the new "scratch resistant" fabric that was needed to cover both arms on my piece of furniture. Ignacio was very nice and highly professional. He came out to my home and carefully placed my furniture piece in his van. Ignacio asked me what fabric color I would like to use for the trim which was very thoughtful of him. He did an amazing job of removing the damaged fabric and replacing it with my new fabric. He brought my re-upholstered furniture back to my home about 2 weeks later. Now my cat can enjoy her "furniture scratch pad routine" without doing any visible damage to it! Ignacio's professional fees to perform these specialized services were very reasonable. I highly recommend Ignacio and his excellent company (I & A Quality Upholstery) for any furniture fabric repairs.

I was in Dallas for the Indians game on Friday July 20th. So, I get there and take pictures outside and go inside. I was greeted by a very nice man after he finished his phone call. Until then I was able to look at the pictures around the lobby of Sue and Richard along with some other things. I told the Gentelmen that I would like to buy a shirt if they had any. He told me they were out of a bunch of them, and they were waiting on a shipment. I told him I would take whatever they had in a XL or 2 XL. He told me he didn't think they had anymore of the "Why you always bring me junk" shirts, he thought they were all smalls, but he would look and see what else they have. Low and behold there was a 2 XL sitting on top waiting for me. It was the last one they had. I asked if Sue was there so I could say Hi really quick because I know she is busy. He said she is on vacation. So, he gave me a tour of the shop where She got her start and talked about Sue's history. He showed me the back of the shop as well. I want to say thank you very much! Everyone at ASM was very nice, I then walked down to Fired Up and took a Lyft to Gas Monkey. Richard was outside taking pictures. I was able to get a picture with him and my "Why You Always Bring Me Junk" shirt. I had a great day in Dallas and my Indians won that night to. As, I was told Go Rangers as I left Sue's shop. I brought my 1976 MG Midget to ASM Auto Upholstery along with a carpet kit manufactured by a…read morereputable company in England. Karen, the daughter of the owner, gave me all kinds of warnings about what could go wrong with the carpet installation. She said they may break the seat bolts. The carpet kit may be cut wrong by the factory. They may have lots of trouble removing the original carpet adhesive and backing. She couldn't give me a firm estimate and would charge labor for however many hours it took. After I asked for a rough estimate, the top of her range was $1800. She charged $2100 dollars for 14 hours labor. I would have no issue with all of this if the end result was good. See my photos of the area behind the driver seat, which, luckily, is not usually visible. It's as if the installer was rushing toward the end of the installation and thought about how this area was not visible. Karen's explanation was that the carpet was inferior and that the threads can be pulled out with a tweezer. I'm not buying this. It's apparent that the installer had to pull the new carpet loose after gluing it incorrectly. Either the threads pulled through the back of the carpet or the installer just pulled the threads loose in an attempt to loosen the carpet to reposition it. There is a bunched area at the top because the carpet is still not positioned correctly. An adjacent piece of carpet that covers the transmission tunnel is installed crooked and in a way that it overlaps the piece behind the driver seat. I can't figure out why the factory cut this panel in such a way, but the way it's installed is wrong and appears to be an attempt to cover more damage to the piece behind the driver seat. After paying and driving the car home, I brought these issues to Karen's attention via email. She called me right away and said the carpet material is cheap and that some of the pieces were either too big or too small. The factory in England says on their website that the pieces are laser cut and will always fit, which may not be true. It was apparent from the beginning that Karen's initial warnings were given to ensure the validity of her "I told you so" explanations. I do understand that, with a carpet kit, they have only one chance to get it right since there is no extra carpet. If they were acting in a way to maintain their reputation, the installer would have stopped working after damaging the carpet. I would have been informed and provided with options. I could have ordered a replacement piece of carpet for a do-over. I would have paid for the additional labor. At this later time, however, the seats would have to be removed again and I'm not sure that adjacent pieces of carpet wouldn't be damaged during a do-over. Ultimately, it seems that they accept an inferior result as long as they can blame someone else - the carpet manufacturer or me, for bringing in a carpet kit. They aren't really interested in doing as good a job as they can. By stopping work to evaluate the bad result, they could have provided me with options.

While my family and I stayed in a hotel in Dallas, my third-row seat was stolen from my Yukon. I called around to find a replacement and was told by an auto repair guy at Sewell GMC (a huge thanks to him as well) that this shop might have what I was looking for. I checked out the site, decided to shoot an email to their sales team, and got a quick response. After I found out they could order my seat, I called and was able to proceed with my transaction. Garrett was the guy I spoke with and he made everything so simple. He even asked the president of his company if I could use one of their generic seats to drive back to Houston because he knew I had my children with me. He took care of my seat, shipping, and even a lock in the same transaction. When I went to pick up my loaner seat, everyone was very friendly. Garrett showed me how to install my seat and the lock as well. There was even a crib in the front for customers with babies. This place had nothing but men working when I went, so I was definitely blown away when I saw how family-friendly this business was. I hate that I had to even deal with such a crazy transaction, but I felt a lot better after dealing with such a caring company. These guys get 10 stars in my book.

My original bottom drivers side seat cover split on the side of my 2022 F-250. Replaced with new…read morebottom leather cover and the Durofoam seat cushion. There were no exact match install videos but watched some for later model F-150's and it was the same. Installation was simple. Gently peeled off the seat heater and AC duct from the original cushion and used headliner spray glue to install both on new Durofoam cushion. Fit and match were perfect and the new Durofoam is way more comfortable than the OEM. Would recommend 100%. Don't be overly concerned with installing yourself as its really easy. Entire process took me about 45 min. and I had to figure everything out myself. I would recommend getting the new Durofoam as the OEM clips holding the seat cover on will most probably break and trying to fix those so you can reuse the OEM foam is not worth it!
